The world is cracking as a clocktower strikes midnight, the cracks get larger and hotter as the bells gong even more, then, the entire world has been pulled under itself. You can feel the heat, you are being burned by the earths magma and crushed by the crust.
You wake up. You look at the clock and see that it is exactly 12:00 A.M and you immediately deduct with your companions that that was no nightmare, it was a premonition of the world ending at exactly midnight that day. You can remember a strange symbol that looked like a triangle with a line in it going up but stopping halfway. You can try to make a history check to figure out what the symbol meant or you can rush to get out out of bed and warn everyone.
Okay so you didn't exactly remember anything exact that correlates to the symbol other than that it belongs to a famous cult, by the way your companion (Art Harrownet) is on the floor laying in the fetus position, he seems to be terrified by the nightmare.
nathanael gets out of bed and warns everyone of the blasphemy "Everyone! I Have had a Premonition Of The World ending on this very day, we must deduct who is going to be the cause of this Blasphemy, i'm not sure but i believe that this will be the doing of a cult, May God bless us on our search"
Art follows you out, and due to your screaming you see many drowsy looking people looking at you oddly, it seems they don't believe you, please make a persuasion check.
OH BOY, okay, so, everyone slowly become more and more awake and decide to join you. You now basically have a small army following you. By the way any checks you succeed on in future loops you can just choose to do what check that was originally and it will automatically succeed. Basically in this case you can choose to have this army in future loops and you won't need to do a persuasion check.
Art equips his staff of swarming insects and decides to look at the citys giant clock tower. the time is 12:13. I would like to describe the scene real quick: you are on the streets of a victorian-esque city of which has a ginormous clock tower in the middle of it, which has a major resemblance to a clock tower that fell in your dream and struck midnight.
You and the army walk along the dirty streets to the clocktower. Many people wake up and give you and your army confused stares. When you get to the clocktower the time had change from 12:13 A.M to 1:36 A.M. The clocktower has 2 large doors of which have a large and heavy padlock on the front of them.

Cool, how long have i known Art or did i just meet him (also just out of curiosity what was the DC)
Lets say you've known him for around 7 years and the DC was 20, so you were quite close to not making it.
i give everyone torches (i have 13) and light them so we may hunt the culprit

Actually, I'm gonna be nice and say the small army also helps, roll with advantage and plus 5.

Sorry but that still doesn't make it, instead it very badly damages the door. Art is going to try to crowbar it open with his quarterstaff now.
