one book hits Arts face and the other falls beside him, I specifically decided to make a dexterity saving throw with a very hard DC cause it felt fun. Art sits up and puts both books on the ground and starts reading them both simultaneously.
(Sorry have been gone for awhile there, rear through everything so all caught up now)
Nestor whilst this has been going on has slightly observing everything that had been happening, not wanting to stick his neck out exactly for Nathanael when he got caught eventually walks over to see the book Nathanael has. "What do we have here? Something useful I hope." Can I attempt to read some of the book in Nathanael's hand to see if I can recall any past events?
You try to remember where you've heard of things like the world ending because of an apocalypse, but when you try to dig out the memories your mind just thinks of static, and the static in your mind feels bad.
Something is likely blocking this form of information in some magical way then, not sure what it is exactly but that seems the most logical reason anyway. "Unfortunately gentlemen nothing is coming to me from reading through these passages. Complete static but there's a feeling to it though and that feeling isn't good. I have a theory that perhaps maybe there could be some magical reason that is blocking said knowledge as was with the case of they who shall not be named, seems fitting for a cult of warlocks to have such contingencies in place."
"That's... Very odd." Art says before continuing to read and then a look of pain on his face appears before he puts his hand on his head, "So what you were talking about just happened to me Nestor, it feels like an extremely bad migraine that's been combined with a headache from getting hit in the head and motion sickness thrown in there as well."
You learn nothing useful in the second book in the series other than The Rebirther venturing into the depths of hell to find some arcane powers to deliver it to a group of people called... That's strange, the name of the group is inked out entirely.
Nestor looks at the ink on Nathanael's finger, "That's odd, surely the ink shouldn't still be wet unless it was covered up recently. We may have someone covering up the cults tracks as we investigate them. Keep your guard up, there could still be people lurking around here attempting to throw us off their scent and potentially try to take us down when we least expect it."

I meant Nathanael reads book 1 and Art reads Book 2
Oh okay, well then Art starts reading book one. Make a history check.

Okay you don't recall any past events then.

Make a history check please.
I rolled an 18+4 so a 22 for history.

Can Nathanael roll Medicine to determine the cause of the 'Migraine' ?
No because it's not medical, it's arcanal or something.
Then an Arcana check...8 how embarrasing
You diagnose it to be: {NOTFOUND}. You have no clue what it is.
Oh well back to reading
You learn nothing useful in the second book in the series other than The Rebirther venturing into the depths of hell to find some arcane powers to deliver it to a group of people called... That's strange, the name of the group is inked out entirely.
Nathanael tries to simply rub off the ink
Nothing happens, It stays there but you somehow get ink smeared on your finger.
Nestor looks at the ink on Nathanael's finger, "That's odd, surely the ink shouldn't still be wet unless it was covered up recently.
