Elthana looks over at Vin, "Well, not all of us can fly, you know. But yeah, probably best to get back. What a frustrating waste of a trip." She looks over to Muir, "Unless you want to transform and carry Hector and I out of here?"
Hector points up to the long gaps that act as windows near the ceiling of this chamber. Now that the wind has gone from outside the coast seems clear. "I'll not need to fly. Neither will anyone if they don't want to... Did you forget where we are?" As he says this he walks from the broken pillar, and the broken djiin, toward the wall and then walks up it. Getting to the opening his body adjusts it's gravity and he stands on the ledge ready to walk down the outside when the group has gathered.
Muir quietly laughs as he looks over the dead djinn pieces "Right we can walk on walls...Hector do you know if this Djinn had anything the others would want that would help in the coming battle with Nivarra? What was his specialty I guess I am asking?"
"Well, glad someone is thinking clearly." Elthana makes her way through the pieces of the dijiin to follow Hector, still looking back at Gewyn from time to time, worry etched on her face. As she hears Muir's question, she starts wondering the same thing and hopes it wasn't something they desperately needed.
"I did suggest walking down the outside before I mentioned flying for those that can", Vin grumbles, before following after on Bry'ze. He inverts his gravity so he is flying in the same orientation as the others walk, with Neferox following suit.
As both Elthana and Muir look over the dead djiin, Elthana finds a crystal necklace that radiates cold it seems to have been unaffected by being frozen solid for god knows how long. Muir, on the other hand finds a keystone, similar to that of those used on shenoh, and similarly unaffected.
"Unsurprisingly this one's element was air, and ice." Hector says, "if he's returned to elemental form then Lumithor may be able to bring a version of him back once your plan goes through and he receives Vox's creation rune"
As the group approach the openings toward the ceiling they see across the wastes of Gojiin, the people of this isle struggling as they are would be unaware of the situation that has unfolded, as they continue on with their subterranean lives in the veritable hive that is their home. Hector whistles a few times and hopping over the walls the Smeagles begin to ascend toward the party.
As Vin descends the humanoid looks up and catches sight of the group standing up on the opening, then across to the incoming smeagles. the humanoid is a female with dirty blonde hair and black rags upon her body, underwhich she is unhealthily thin and malnourished, the cloth that she has wrapped around the frozen person is also basically rags at this point. her elf-like face drops in terror at the sight of everyone and fairy wings sprout from her back as she makes for the thick crystal wall surrounding this once deadly courtyard, though instead of heading for the door, she flies tward a window within the wall and enters into a room inside.
"I'm okay," Gewyn says to Elthana as he notices her attention on him. "Just thinking through some things."
"Wait!"Gewyn calls. He grabs a small bundle of food from his provisions and hooks the twine wrap on one of Spyro's claws. "Go, bring this to her. Tell her we mean no harm"
Vin sees the elf-like creature, now with fairy wings adorning it, flee into the wall around the courtyard.
He moves to follow, but not knowing who or what else is in there, stops a little distance short. He makes sure Neferox stays even further back, being as intimidating as she is. He notices Spyro shows no such caution, heading for the window, and decides to call out trying to ensure they do not act with hostility.
"We are not your enemies, we mean no harm here. Please come out and talk to us. We might be able to help each other", he calls out, lending weight to his words.
Muir follows Elthana figuring the same....no sense swarming them to upset them. He too takes a gander at the statue trying to determine why this one....
As the woman swoops into the window and vin holds his distance trying not to scare, spyro zooms past the boy excitedly telling him "it's a sylph!" Spyro zooms in after the 'sylph' bearing the offer of food.
As Elthana and Muir observe the statue it is of another woman and with Muir's thorough investigation he can see that this one too has an almost imperceptible set of fairy wings tucked into her back too. The cloth has done some work in defrosting this sylph statue but Muir's cape of eyes tells him that no soul is present within the statue.
Vin's call falls on deaf ears, or perhaps ones that do not understand, but as the food is given from the faeriedragon, vins words are perhaps felt as the narrow face of the terrified sylph woman appears once more in the window.
Seeing Spyro have some luck, in that he hasn't been attacked, Vin looks up to Gewyn. Perhaps the bard is best placed to do the talking with a fae, but he can at least say hello, in case it does understand him
He smiles and waves at the Sylph.]
"Hi. My name is Vin. What's your name? Can you understand me?", he says, trying to keep the fae engaged whilst Gewyn makes his way over.
The sylph points to themselves as if reiterating what vin asked, her face unsure, she repeats, "name is vin? Name?"
Spyro swoops and flies over head babbling something to the sylph in sylvan, the sylph returns with recognition and then looks to vin, "vin!" Then points to herself. "Wren Cloudhop" to vin the language sounds somewhat similar to Elvis but not enough to fully understand everything. Spyro lands and starts excitedly translating for vin which wren accepts though remains half hidden and hesitant. Through back and forth vin finds that the reason the sylph was trying to defrost the statue was to ask information, under the assumption that those frozen were still alive, wren wants to know what happened in the spire, the fate of Gojiin.
Over with Muir and Elthana it seems that the ice had begun thawing, the warmth made by the cloth that wren had used has thinned it across the statue sylphs shoulders but not broken through to the frozen preserved flesh.
Elthana looks over at Vin, "Well, not all of us can fly, you know. But yeah, probably best to get back. What a frustrating waste of a trip." She looks over to Muir, "Unless you want to transform and carry Hector and I out of here?"
She looks over to Gewyn, "Are you alright?"
Muir nods "No sense hanging around...A waste indeed. I could transform again and fly out with you especially without the wind."
Looking back to Elthana, Vin replies, "There is room on Bry'ze for one more. A normal sized one, sorry Muir".

"I like the vote of confidence", Vin says as Hector mentions their plan going through.
He is definitely ready to leave and find out exactly how the plan will really turn out. He just hopes Hector is right.

Neferox attracts Vin's attention down to the courtyard.
"Hm, there appears to be someone down there with one of the statues", he says and manoeuvres Bry'ze down closer to the person to see what is going on.
Muir looks and comments "They appear to be trying to warm one of the statues back to life"
