Taking the lead, Braddik readies his sword and shield and makes his way tentatively down the long hallway, looking out for nooks and crannies that might make for good ambush points.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
You all move ahead through the dim torch light, the corridor does indeed open out into a large hall. The place seems ancient and well made. The hall itself is about one hundred feet wide, two hundred feet long, and forty feet high. It's length runs east west and there is a what looks like a well at the western end. You can see bedding and old campfires scattered throughout the western side of the hall and a makeshift forge and kitchen along with other hurriedly built workshops and a large closed tent at the eastern end.
Exits lead through the west, the north, and the way you entered behind you to the south. It is hard to get a clear look at the whole area because of the many columns breaking up the field of view.
The place smells of fire, food, sweat, and blood.
"This looks like some kind of military camp or staging area." Corvus grunts. The veteran moves to one of the old campfires, removes his gauntlet, and holds his palm over the ashes. "Still a little warm. Some one was here a few hours ago." He takes a measured look around the hall."You could billet a hundred men here easily."
Just as the cleric finishes his observation you all hear a faint moan form the tent at the eastern end of the hall.
The sounds of battle still echo faintly far away, they seem to be coming from the northern passage.
Corvus moves up to the northern corridor with Ayrlin. "Good point friend elf, sounds like a big fight yonder, we don't want to get caught in it."
Braddik and Grigor move over to the tent and peer inside. The see some tables in the center of the tent covered in blood, with blood soaked rags and cloth scattered around them. Some metal implements sit on a smaller table near them. The outer parts of the tent are lined with simple cots, some are empty but the others are filled with goblins in various state of health. Dead and unconscious for the most part, but in one a bandage wrapped goblin sits up and stares at you wide eyed.
"These sick and wounded goblins are of no threat to us and I doubt any here know how to get to where we are going. Ayrlin's right, we should be moving along before more arrive."
Braddik takes a quick look at the gathered throng of broken goblins to see what sorts of injuries seem prevalent.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
The goblins in the tent show injuries one would expect from battle. Here and there evidence of magical attack are also present.
As the hardened warrior scans the tent, the lone conscious goblin quietly asks, "Do you work for him? Are you hear to finish me off..."
Grigor moves through the tent, paying more attention to the fixtures and equipment than its occupants. He finds surgical tools of plain but good make, some bottles with ointments and slaves, some plasters, bandages, and herbs.
In a trembling voice the goblin answers, "The Goblin King of course. Your here to end the resistance." He lies back in the bed and sighs heavily. "We were fools to think we had a chance.."
Grigor now seems to be very interested and is looking at the goblin. "Well, kind of. We want to free someone he's holding captive. How long have you been fighting him? Are you some kind of rebel troop? How many are you? This labyrinth is huge and its power seems to be great. I can imagine that it is not easy to fight it in here."

“Seemes that we are late to the party...” whispers the elf behind Braddik

Grigor goes behind Braddik and is ready should it come to fighting actions.

Ayrlin keeps an eye outside the tent and approaches a little bit to the northen corridor.
" Be quick, we don't want to be here when the hundred goblins come back here... or whatever they are fighting if they lose... "

Xorin stays outside that tent while the others check it out, keeping an eye for larger trouble.
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow"
"No power in the 'verse can stop me"
Braddik looks the goblin square in the eye before holding up a finger to his lips in a sign for silence.

The goblin looks back at Braddik and its hand slowly moves up and covers its mouth. The creature begins shaking.
The fighting from far off to the north seems to be dying down.
"We should get moving before they come back to their campment..."

Grigor stays behind Braddik. Braddik seems to concentrate on the goblin so he will look and investigate the tent.
Does Grigor find anything interesting in the tent?

Grigor takes some of the plasters, bandages, and herbs and wraps.
Are there enough of it to say that i have a healers-kit with only one charge?
And hear what the goblin says. "You're fighting the goblin king? Are those the battle sounds we hear in the distance? You're a resistance group here?"

Grigor;
There is enough here for two charges for a healers kit if you like :)
The goblin lies still , "Yes, we are trying to overthrow the despot and gain freedom for all here in the Labyrinth." he replies.
"Do you fight him too?" he asks hopefully.
Grigor now seems to be very interested and is looking at the goblin. "Well, kind of. We want to free someone he's holding captive. How long have you been fighting him?
