Cob dodges to the side as the Predator thorn whips his way. He almost avoids it completely, but to still manages to catch hold of him in the shoulder. But as it does, Cob feels the energy from the protective spell they were placed under before they entered this realm, it races to the spot of impact and Cob watches wide-eyed as what was becoming a deep gash stitches itself back together leaving only a flesh wound.
Cob whips his bow across the fiddle, causing more Eldritch energy to flash towards the predator.
Agonizing Blast: Attack: 23 Damage: 12 plus necrotic Hex damage of 4

Dvark and Eremoz once again swing their weapon toward the enemy in front of them. At the last moment, they notice one of the Footsoldiers moving slower than the others. Instead of attempting to strike the injured Footsoldiers, they move their weapon to strike the slower ones. While not killing it outright, they injured the Footsoldier enough that it looks as near-death as the other two.
The two ignored Footsoldiers retaliate in kind. While one of them manages to swerve around Dvark's defenses and get a good strike in, the other is not as lucky. Dvark, a feeling of lethargy and confusion begins to take your mind as the Footsoldier's sharpened limb slashes open your arm. You shake away the feeling quickly and focus back on the task at hand.
A snap and crack reverberate through the platform as the fissures widen. More and more spider line red fractures start to appear along the three major fissures as more and more dead bodies wither around the platform. Drexon pools the power within him and reaches out toward the Voidsphere. Bolstered by the power of his previous spell, a purplish weave begins to stitch one of the three largest fissures on the blackened sphere. For a moment, the fissure begins to close, but the feeling the Voidsphere gives off throws Drexon's focus. The weave unravels and another large fissure branches out, adding the total fissures to four. From the recently opened fissures, red humanoid fingers begin to emerge, struggling against a force that seems to be trying to keep them in. The air thickens once more, and everything becomes slower.
As you see the emerging limb and feel the thickening air, all of you get the feeling that perhaps this is something bigger than all of you. However, you get the feeling that all will be well in the end despite the direness of the situation you have found yourself in and the lack of understanding of why you suddenly felt such sureness.

(1) Any creature standing within 120 feet of the Voidsphere has a -1 to their AC and Dexterity saving throw. Their speed is also reduced by 5 feet. (2) At the start of each round, any creature standing within 120 feet of the Voidsphere must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a fail, their speed is reduced a further 5 feet and their AC and Dexterity saving throw is reduced a further -1.}}
{(To simplify, you take a -1 to AC and Dexterity save as long as you are within 120 feet of the sphere. At the start of the round, on a failed wisdom save, you take another -1 to AC and Dexterity save to a total of -2. The same goes for speed reduction.}}
Seeing the half-broken Voidsphere, the predator turns toward Cob and launches a thorn from its spine before snapping one of its spinal thorns and using it to stab the platform at the base of the Voidsphere. A spark of arcane energy bursts from the platform, blocking the piercing thorn from damaging the platform further.

With the spine piercing through Cob's defenses a little, Cob retaliates in kind by launching a blast of power. It hits the predator just as it is turning to attack the base of the Voidsphere. The attack helps in deflecting the predator's attempt at the Voidsphere and shows several cracks beginning to form on the predator's armor.
One of the Footsoldiers attempts to make another attack at Eremoz, but its attack swings too far when Eremoz moves away to attack the same Footsoldier as Dvark.
Start of Round 4

The air grows thicker, more than it has been. It seems that the failed attempt to heal the fissures and the emergence of the red limbs from within the Voidsphere are the sources of this increasing weight pressing upon everyone around the Voidsphere.

Cob, seeing the others focussing on the crack in the sphere and the big predator turning all of its attention there too, decides he has to keep at the predator. Stopping it will let them put power towards whatever’s damaging the sphere.
His fiddle leaps into life again, a bolt of Eldritch energy lashing forward at the predator.
Cob blasts another bolt of force at the predator when he sees that it has its focus elsewhere. The pure force of magic leaves a slight depression on the chitinous armor, enough to gain an annoyed growl by the predator. Unfortunately, despite all the damage it had taken, the predator still stands with seemingly one goal in mind: to destroy the Voidsphere.
Seeing the repeated attempts that the predator attempted to damage the base of the Voidsphere, Karm feels that it must not happen and weaves his own magic to attempt to stitch the fissure on the Voidsphere close. Bolstered by the sight of the red fingers pushing through the fissure, Karm feels his hand tingle once more as a prismatic weave begins to close one of the fissures completely close. Unfortunately, the glaring red fingers remain, grasping the edge of the fissure as if trying to widen it further. Looking at it, you are reminded of the red figure that you have seen so long ago. You cannot help but wonder: Might this be the vision that you have been given so long ago coming true?
Start of Round 5
Just as Karm finishes closing one of the fissures, the thickening and pulsating heavy air that shrouded the area a moment ago lessens. There is still a slight resistance and heaviness to your movement and limbs, but it is not as bad as before. It seems that whatever Karm had done had lessened the effects that the cracked Voidsphere causes.

Drexon watches as the cracks on the Voidsphere start to shrink, and looks about at his companions. He can see Karm focussing on it, and gives him a nod of approval. His determination bolstered by his allies success, he sets himself to try again.
It seemed easier this time, the magic he used to help focus intertwining with the essence he is using this time and aiding the process. He pushes the remains of his magical energy to the Voidsphere, hoping it is enough.
"That is it for me", he says to the others, "I have no more energy left".
He moves closer to the others, in case he can be of use, but tries to remain covered from attack by keeping the Voidsphere between him and the remaining enemies.
Action: Attempt to heal the Voidsphere - Charisma Check (with Guidance): 17+1+4=22 Movement: Forward towards the others fighting on the platform, 35'. Tries to gain some cover.
