"Yes let's go" Io looked around to see if anyone noticed anything, seeing no one did she gladly and swiftly left the place waiting outside the door for her friend
"Now to find a magical tent with a kidnapper inside, can't be that hard right?" she said to herself

Io, roll a Perception check.

As you're talking to the elven woman and you mention something about a tent, you see a few folks glance at your way for a moment before they return to their drinks. Two of them have pins that are gold and the initials GG on them. 

"Merrick we need to talk when we get out of here" then Io did a quick glance at the people with the pins, and shortly looked at her friend again

"What happened?" Says Merrick, haven't noticing anything. Looks like they're done collecting information here, so if nobody of his friends objects, he heads outside, intending to go closer to the center, where they could presumably find the tent. "Did you see something?" He asks Io once they're outside.

"Saw a few people wearing GG gold pins looking at us, it might just be a very likely coincidence or it might be people from our litle... friend. I let you decide wich one" Io looked around her to see if anyone from that group came out
"We better hurry"

That doesn't sound good, and too convenient to be just a coincidence. Looks like Merrick got so distracted that he forgot about being careful.
"Let's first check if they follow us, and if not, then continue to the tent". So as they walk further down the street, Merrick quickly turns back to see if he can see someone from the tavern here.

Merrick doesn't see anyone at first, but they may certainly roll a Perception check. 

Just in case, perception - 15

You don't see anyone behind the group and you don't feel like you're being followed. You do see a couple of folks wearing silk blue shirts and hats with GG on them, but you're able to tell that they're fans and they don't even really see you. With that 15, you also gather that these folks are going to the tent and could lead you there. 

"Can't see anyone going after us, so it's probably safe to go". Merrick continues heading in the direction where the center should be. On the way, one particular detail catches his eye.
"Wait, do you see these people wearing hats? Is Grolin so well-known here, that he has his own merchandise? I wonder, where did they got these hats. Could we also use one for disguise in future? Hm, who knows. Let's follow these people, since they probably know where the tent is."

"Yeah! Great idea! If we can't get one we can always steal one eheh after what Grolin did i don't think he will mind we steal a hat or two"
Io then looked around to see anyone she can follow.

Io, you notice there are folks you can follow. They lead you to a large tent where more people are gathered. It's baby blue and yellow on the outside, a clash with the autumn colors of the buildings. At the front is an green-haired, pale-skinned eladrin, who calls everyone to gather before the show. More gather closer to the tent and each person is wearing merchandise, save for a pale-skinned elven man with black eyes, who is observing the surroundings and doesn't move with the crowd. 

What do you do? 

They have finally reached the tent, and it doesn't look like there are many options of what to do here.
"I don't see what we can do to gather information in this place... I guess we can try to watch the show and, maybe, see what Grolin does after? Hopefully, we could see something useful. And we better keep an eye on that person."
Merrick nods his head in the direction of the elf. "He's the only one here not wearing this merch. Could it be he's here for something else? Or... Well, I'm not sure yet."

Merrick, Io, both of you roll Stealth checks.

The elven man glances your way for a moment, noticing you're not wearing any merchandise but he doesn't say anything.

The ushers begin to move everyone inside and you're swept in as well. You enter the large tent and see hundreds of people finding their chairs. At the front is a large wooden stage with two six-foot G's hovering in the air. 

A loud voice with a drawl fills the air as it rings "Everyone find your seats, the show's about to begin!"

The voice receives a loud cheer and clap. You almost think for a moment that it's some sort of charm, but you don't need a check to realize that everyone is doing this of their own free will. 

What do you do?

"We should had gotten the hats" says Io in a low voice"Should we just sit and enjoy the show? oohh and pray that no one notices at us?"

She looks around her trying to see if they are the only ones without the hats
