"Nice beam let me try mine now" Io does a circle with her hands focusing all her energy into one single sphere, then pushed it in the direction of the same zombie she shoot before
Looks like close fighting is too dangerous, better to change tactics - when Merrick sees that he didn't succeed he runs as fast as he can in the opposite direction from the zombie and hides behind one of the closest trees, even if it's not really suitable for this. He takes a few seconds to concentrate and starts chanting what seems to be some kind of a melody.
Action - Trying to cast [Tooltip Not Found] on allies.

Okay. The way Bardic Inspiration works is you automatically get to inspire one ally they get an extra 1d6 to their attack, saving throw, or ability check.
So go ahead and pick 1 ally to get the inspiration.
You also get your action/attack since Bardic Inspiration is a bonus action.

The remaining zombie doesn't look good. Considering that, Merrick tries to attack the zombie once again with his knife, hoping that maybe one turn will be enough to defeat it. Attack - 22 Damage - 5
The combined dagger attack from Merrick and the cold blows, one of frost and one of the ice knife variety, manage to take down this zombie.
With the zombie down, you are out of combat. The Haregon walks over to Merrick. "Thank you for the save and thank you for the help." He heals Merrick for 9 hit points.
