As Sorrow moves about oblivious to what is happening Tail feathers drops her spell. Millwater seeing what is happening climbs up in a tree above the body to hide. The others hide and get ready for what ever is going to happen next as the footsteps get closer and closer. Veeshal steps back and raises his arms up and head tilted back he loudly calls on Rheilyssia to come and assist them in their time of great need. Soon a dark Green ugly head starts to come out of the space where the shrine used to stand. About that time a bright flash appears blinding everyone as a loud noise rolls across the area. effectively causing you to be deafened. After a couple seconds the light disappears leaving you all in a clearing where a shrine used to be. The first ting you will notice are the bodies of the Orcs as well as their victim are all gone. Their equipment and belongings are still scattered about where their bodies were. The stones are gone as well. in their place is a dark red spot on the ground. You do not see or hear any more footsteps or see any potential threats. Veeshal hears a familiar voice in his head. "You have called upon me this once as you have disturbed a shrine that was dedicated and consecrated to another god. I was able to mend the issue you have caused this time. Try to not disturb or let others disturb a shrine dedicated to an unknown or even known god as it can cause issues that us gods really can not always smooth over. Rest assured we were able to come to a mutual agreement so you are no longer marked for death for the disturbance. While the god you worship is not happy with your supplication we have come to another agreement. You are able to worship me while you are in my lands if that will make it easier for yourself. Go in peace."
Everyone feels a cooling sensation spread through their bodies. As it passes you all feel as if you just experienced a long rest.
With a wry smile played on his face, Vee mentally replies ‘Aye m’ Lady. It makes it easier knowing the-repercussions-for calling on one other than mine have been mitigated for now. Easier than controlling this lot from wanting to do right in the most enthusiastic way possible…of course wanting to remove the whole profane thing and return the area to nature falls on me.’
Waiting a spell, he feels cooler and refreshed. Millwater retracts his claws, surrendering to the fall(20HP) to land on all 4 paws.
Quickly scampering the area around the victim in a spiral out. "Where is the victim?" Then scurrying to the ork with the big fat rump he saw scoot backwards on . "Where is the pulled ork? he says. Zoomieing to the shrine, skidding to a stop at the red spot. He looks up to Veeshal and Sorrow with confusion on his face.
"All the meat is gone! I can't find the victim I saw them dragging." He says, as he circles around the red spot. "What the bork is happening? Did the mundane just bend?"
It finally dawns on him, that he had a divine religious experience! The zoomies end, and he gets down on his knees and prays to Rheilyssia, thanking her for delivering us from whatever the hells that green head was coming from.
Vee touches Mill on the head softly. ‘Indeed the Goddess helped us in our need. But my youngling companion, we all need to be more prudent and careful about disturbing shrines from here on out. She may not be able to intervene again.’ He glances at everyone to see if his point was made and understood. ‘Tail-I hope this was the wrongness you felt? If not, let’s find it and get done with it so we can get back to what we started. If it is, let’s gather up the loot and get going. Please.’
Shaking himself out of a mild trance, Festoon rejoins the world with an awe-struck look. "Was that a God? A green God? So awesome! I've met a God! Looked pretty big, too. Does that mean he's important? I've heard Takhisis was huge and she was almost the most importantest God on Krynn! He could stay for a snack, if he wanted? Wow, that was refreshing."

Sorrow blinks a moment, glances around as if lost for a second, shrugs then proceeds to sort out coinage and gather up javelins. Once the looting is done, she’ll roll out her back and shoulders then stretch. Realizing she is missing some clothing, she’ll look around for it and reclothe herself before asking ‘Which way guys?’
Everyone shakes off the potential threat you all just avoided. Listening to Tailfeathers you gather your things before setting off towards the North and West again. Having a renewed vigor in your bodies you are able to cover ground more easily . As it starts to get dark Tailfeathers tell you all it in not very far ahead. As you crest the hill you are currently climbing I will need pereception or investigation checks from everyone (which ever is higher)
As you all crest the hill you look down at the forest below you. You all see what appears to be a clearing. Inside the clearing you can see a small stone. Something looks wrong as Tailfeathers says the wrongness is down there in the clearing.
Those who rolled more than a 20 have been shown what they see.
Vee gives a sharp but low whistle to get Sorrows attention as he raises a closed fist. In a very low voice ‘Crazy looking pissed off critter down there, folks. Like a cross between a bear and a porcupine.’ He looks to the others. ‘Might be prudent to have our quieter folks go have a look see while we heavier ones keep to the shadows and slowly work out way down a bit?’ After a moment of watching it he states ‘Nope. It either sees or scents us. Best get prepped.’
J'nah whispers, "I aint never seen anything like that before. Maybe we can befriend it? I know you lost your orc buffet, but you got anything that critter might like?"
Millwater checks the wind direction. "Keep some eyes on it from a distance."
"Sure do! Hobb sausage, it's delicious. 26 links left." He says to J'Nah's question. Millwater asks Tail "Think we can save it, we have time to prepare? I can help with food and handling, as well as be your bodyguard when we get close."
After watching the creature a few moments, "Best come up with a couple plans, got a great spicy rub if this doesn't work out."
Snacking on a hobb stick, he crumbles up pieces of journey bread and adds mineral salts for the shepherd's flock.

The party slowly begins to walk down the hill towards the spot the creature is in. With only half of you being able to see the creature the other half just prepares for a battle with something they can not see. As you get half way down the hill you are now roughly 200 feet away for this beast/spot. It starts running/loping towards you. It lets out a savage growl/roar as it heads your way. Everyone in the party is able to hear its challenge. Those who can not perceive it roll another perception check with advantage. You all can hear something big headed your way. Those who can see this creature and it running your way can see it is much larger than you first thought. I will need initiative checks for the upcoming battle.
(Knowing I cannot out climb or run a bear, hoping the shepherd can calm it.) Boldly stepping in front of his companions holding a hobb stick. "Pst, psst, psst!" as he waves the hobb stick enticingly.
As the beast gets closer. "Not the wisest idea I've had!" He says with a tremor in his voice.
You move closer to the creature as it moves closer to you. Millwater steps out in front of everyone waving some of his Hob sticks he had made. The creature looks at him and roars again as he makes his way closer to all of you. He seems he is not interested in the hob sticks but more interested in Millwater as well as the other companions. You are both now about 80 feet from each other. Next round you will be within melee range. Those of you who can see the beast more clearly can see what looked like wraps on its forearms are actually a lot of swcars as if this creature has bit itself to satisfy its rage until it found something else to rage upon.
If you do not have your initiative in or actions in get them in soon. Remember if you can not see the beast you can hear it. Roll perception with advantage to see it.
"Holy moly, this thing is huge! It looks like it has been biting it's wrists! Rabies perhaps, I'll need to examine more closely." He says while pointing at it with the sausage for Tail Feather. "They way it's looking at me, I think it picked it's next snack!"
Millwater desperately looks for a rock to stand on or a dip to lead the bear into. Looking up for branches he can swing from. Picking out the best place to use his defenses. A nearby tree, he runs(feline agility) to. Then up, upside down dangling from a branch he secures the end of his surijen.
"Psst, psst, psst" He says less confidently with his hair standing straight.
Tail drops the spell, glad that it was over. Sighing, she slowly walks around looking to see what the others find
