Climbing low hanging branches to cut into the growth, dangling over it, enticing the orcs to chase the proverbial low hanging fruit.

Tailfeathers moves closer to Veeshal and heals him for 16 points of healing putting him back to full hit points. Two orcs move closer putting both sides at half cover so only a +2 to AC now. They throw a javelin at Millwater and Mouser. both missing. Another Orc continues his trip around the edge of the effected area. J'nah shoots at the same two Orcs missing one and killing the other. Mouser moves to get better cover and trips in the process. He is able to keep his head from smashing into a rock as he falls prone onto the ground. Sorrow steps into better view as the Orcs continue to move towards them yelling at them in Orcish taunting them with jabs and insults. The orcs move close in the trapped area punting them 30 feet away and all now in half cover also. They throw javelins at the party members. They throw a javelin at Veeshal, Two at Sorrow, Tailfeathers, Mouser, Millwater and J'nah Only Sorrow gets hit for 5 damage Millwater taunts the Orcs in return also as he runs around the edge of the spiked ground and climbs a tree to hang down from a branch over the effected area. Veeshal lays a hand on Sorrow's shoulder healing her for 15 points. Five more Orcs move closer to the party as another one continues following outside the effected area towards the main party. The five all launch their second javelins towards party members. Two towards Millwater two towards Sorrow and one towards Mouser. Sorrow and Millwater are missed but Mouser is hit for 4 damage.
This ends round two The Orcs are now 30 feet away as they continue towards the party. You can tell the spike growth is effecting not only their movement but also their health as you can see the various scrapes and bloodies bodies as they work their way closer.
Millwater pauses in the center of the Spike Growth to take a look at his companions position, looking for stalking movements on thier flanks. Turning his neck, to check on the person"s position I had seen the Orcs dragging earlier. Just a little closer, as the nearest orc raises a hand to grab his dangling tail.
He corkscrews around the branch, then leaps to the next tree with his tail whipping around twisting his body to grab the next branch with both hands. The screeching screams halt abruptly, and a low menacing hrumphing takes it's place as Millwater finds his big cat voice.
Moving toward the shrine as the Ocrs move closer. Trying to funnel them into a spearhead towards the shrine as opposed to spreading them out. Maneuvering to the slacking side to dangle enticingly and shout insults. "Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries!
Vee sheaths his hammer and swings the Xbow back to his shoulder, aims at the third orc and fires, and reloads. Using his spiritual connection to the glowing hammer he created, he causes it to strike at the same orc (if still alive, otherwise it attacks the new third in line).

Mouser gets up from his ignoble fall and shrugs, moving as far away as possible and trying to put the spike growth area between him and his opponents, while firing his bow at the nearest one that's moving through the growth. Once he's released the arrow, he finds a place to hide that will protect him from the javelins. The illusion remains active, hiding the actual shrine from view and presenting a ruined version instead.

With one Orc in the pair down, J'nah looks and targets a new pair of orcs trying to weaken stragglers in the middle over damaged ones up front while keeping on the move as much as possible to keep cover without getting to far away from the group or losing sight of the spike field.

Mouser shoots towards one but misses as Sorrow throws more taunts at the mass of orcs. Four more Orcs move forward with two of them swinging at Millwater as he dangles from a tree. They miss as they continue forward towards their ruined shrine. As these orcs move forward you see one go down as he moves forward not rising back up. Millwater moves to another tree to keep the orcs moving forward towards his companions still dangling from a tree in hopes they are even more injured. Veeshal fries his crossbow striking one but it keeps moving forward. you see five other orcs behind the rest still pushing forward behind their comrades in arms.

As the orcs move closer, Millwater corkscrews around the branch towards the shrine. As his weight brings him lower, he hangs a moment to smack his ass and yell "Can't touch this!" gegesturing obscenely. Then leaps to the next tree branch.
As the orc are now 15 feet away Tailfeathers once again stands next to Sorrow mumbling before clapping her hands together in front of her. The sound of Thunder is heard all around as you see the wave of sound moving away from you into the mass of Orcs trying to make their way to you. Eight of the orcs are pushed back ten feet along with the dead bodies being pushed away, All of the orcs who were pushed backwards do not get back up. Even those who did not get pushed back seem to be a little frazzled. The orcs push forward with them coming into Melee range now. The first one swings at Sorrow. He misses her but is ready for a fight. J'nah takes two more shots but misses both orcs. Mouser Shoots another Orc killing it Sorrow spits at the remaining Orcs as she waits for them to get closer. Millwaters makes the next attempt to jump to a tree closer to the shrine but misses his target and falls in among the spell of thorns. He takes 4 points of damage from the thorns and 4 points from the fall for 8 points total. Veeshal seeing the Orcs closing in shoots the one in front of Sorrow killing it. The next Orc makes it withing melee range swinging at Sorrow also hitting her for 9 points of damage. J'nah suddenly hear a grows by him turning just in time to feel its axe cutting into him. He takes 13 points of damage. on the other side of the companions a second Orc swings at Tailfeathers hitting her for 4 points of damage as she moved to get behind Sorrow.
Thus ends this round. There are three orcs left. One in front of Sorrow, One at her side and one on the other side by J'nah. Millwater you are now moving at half speed. Moving to get out of the spell area will take you at least one more round.
Realizing his mistake was being too cocky, he surrenders to the fall. His body twists, and he lands on all 4 paws. "EEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRREIR" as thorns peirce his beans(4HP). Ears ringing from the Thunderwave and his own scream, he transitions to a crane stance and spins on his paw.
His eyes go wide as his pupils expand at the gore skid left behind the Shepherd's Thunderwave. Never having seen such carnage before, Millwater shivers as he is both horrified and fascinated.
Quickly deciding to rush to J'Nah's aid. He bounds with feline agility (1/2 of 80' is 40') towards him. Focusing his KI to attack the Orc with shurikens.
Feeling the bite of the axe, J'nah drops the bow. Coming to his senses, he sidesteps quickly around the orc faster than he can respond and gets his short swords out slashing under the shoulder of Orc, but his follow up attack after putting so much energy into that first swing was weak and ill aimed.
