“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
The sudden pain from being bit throws a hitch in J'nah's attack as he tries to avoid getting clawed by the larger Worg.

This round a few things happen that makes this all interesting. First Millwater goes to pounce on the Worg from the tree he is in. As he goes to push off his foot slips and he falls straight down missing both the Worg and Tailfeathers. What he does get is a crossbow bolt in his side that was fired by Veeshal for 4 points of damage. The worg that is with J'nah bites him for 11 points of damage Meanwhile the worg by Tailfeathers bites her for 8 damage. Tail Feathers strikes it back with 8 damage. After which an arrow comes in from the trees striking the Worg by Tailfeathers for 12 more damage Killing the beast. The Goblin in the middle is attacked by Sorrow. It sees her coming towards it so it dropped its bow and pulled out its sword. In that action it moved wrong and Sorrows axe struck it in the head killing it due to head trauma. Thus ends this round. Only one Worg is alive and it is over by J'nah. Both are injured and they are roughly 30 feet away from Sorrow and 60 feet or more from everyone else. I need a fortitude save from Millwater or he loses conscientious due to the impact with the ground. What are your next actions.
As he is falling a loud ringing sound fills his ears. "Oh ****!" He shouts as realizes he is out of reach to strike the worg as a crossbow bolts hits him in a rib. Rolling into a forward breakfall to the side without missiles saves himself more injury but takes his breath away as he hits the ground.
Millwater's eyes open to a darkened world. The ringing in his hears intensifies, as he tries but cannot grab hold of the crossbow bolts in his side. He tries to make a fist and cannot coordinate his fingers to move together. That awful worg smell assaults him as he takes a deep breath. A copper taste fills his mouth, he bit his tongue. (YEE GODS! This is what my patients are feeling!) Millwater thinks, remembering all the patients that struggled during surgery despite his tender mercies.
Millwater rolls his head back reeling from the pain. He stares up seeing the broken branches creating a hole in the canopy. The idyllic spot chosen for the ambush is scared by the battle. The grasses rutted by worgs, bodies laid around. Already the beautiful white birds stained crimson pecking at the eyes of the dead. "It was so beautiful" He whispers weakly.
J'nah's vision is blurred by blood loss, his grasp on the spell he cast slips from his mind, he grasped at the knowledge of the remaining spell when he realized he didn't have time in the face of the beast before him. He turned and lined up both blades to chuck into the front breastbone of the beast, side by side the the two blades pierce the creature without the aid of magic. J'nah put everything he could into the double strike knowing his life was on the line. "I won't die here!

Tail Feathers cries out in pain as she is bit. Seeing the worg is dead, she looks in the direction Millwater dropped. She thought she heard a sound of pain and wants to make sure it was a companion that needs aid before doing any more.
As Millwater reels in pain from his fall to the earth the other companions except for Tailfeathers head to try and end the life of the last worg. Seeing, Smelling the blood and the fear from his victim the Worg bites him again. J;nah takes 9 more damage from the bite. From there as he feels his life slipping away J'nah drops his swords before he can deal any damage. However Sorrow and Festoon together cause 17 more points of damage to the Worg ending its life. As the worg dies he drops J'nah from his jaws.
This battle is over. What is everyone else doing now? you have one person down as Millwater is able to stand up but just barely.
"I fear, I greatly underestimated the range they could pick up on a scent" He says after picking himself up from the ground. Despite the pain, he realizes J'nah is down and comes to his senses. He rushes full speed, stumbling as he goes to J'nah with his healing kit to examine the bite's puncture wounds and surrounding bones for crushing. Not wasting time to find out if magical healing is available or not, he prepares a suture to repair torn blood vessels. Then soaks a bandage in alcohol to clean the area, after applying light pulses of pressure to see which ones have vascular damage.
With an arrow in his shoulder and a bolt in his side, Millwater quickly clears his head by shaking it, takes a deep breath then begins sewing on the damaged vessels. After he is done, he sets the needle aside and does a pericardial thump to J'nah's chest with the heel of his fist. "Wake up! You haven't really lived til you eat one of my berry cheese tarts" He says, as a tear rolls down his cheek.
Vee arrives in a rush, dropping to his knees as he searches for life signs. Seeing Mill has slapped on parts of a healers kit, Vee sends up a prayer and uses his last healing spell.

Panting, he looks too Sorrow. ‘Don’t care how close on their coattail's we are-we are talking a long rest before any more action. Or we spend the coin to get potions. Your choice.’
Unable to help other than binding wounds roughly, Festoon helps to inventory to bodies of the dead.

Sorrow growls in frustration, but knows the Cleric is right-without his spells or purchasing potions or ointments, to set off after the townies or attempt to move on the rest of the gobs would be to invite death. She blows out a breath ‘Aye, you’ve the right of it. Maybe we should check with the church for potions-in the morning. But first let’s see what the bodies tell us, and if there’s a decent pelt or two from the worgs.’ She’ll nod to those stripping the gob bods as she assessed the worg corpses.
Heading over to join the others, Tail touches Millwater's shoulder to send some healing. Guessing he is being a stubborn cat and not wanting to let on how he is feeling. "A long rest and potions would be wise for us. We do seem to be attracting attention with our enemies."
Cure Wounds on Millwater: 7
Kneeling down to look at the wounds on J'nah, she admired the handy work on the bandages. "If you will allow more healing, I can spare another before our rest."
Festoon comes back from searching the bodies saying, "They didn't have much on them. A scattering of silver and copper and two gems. Is there something in particular I should be looking for?"
