Yoli (still invisible) says: "How can we know that you will live up to your word? What will stop you from carrying on as normal if we return your watch to you?" After saying this, Yoli quietly moves to a different location so he can't be captured.
"I'm not a big fan of the hourglass coven but I know I lack the power to stand against them. We never recruited people to send to them because we felt that it would be easier to keep security at the carnival to keep trespassers safe from the hags...but that clearly wasn't enough. Mister light always wanted to do something but I talked him out of that, every scenario I could think ended up with us dead or not running the carnival. If you wish to go fetch your things or stop the hags I guess that's a win-win deal, you can't reach them without me and I really would like to have my watch back in the most civilized way, I don't think we are enemies."
Hazel feels Yoli close to her. She continues the conversation. “Let’s say, hypothetically, we go see the hags and manage to close this deal. What’s in for us ? I guess we would do you a big favour”

"I don't get it, you already have my most valuable item. I thought you wanted to get your things back. I have nothing to offer but the means to reach them and then hope you get the job done or I'm screwed either way. So right now is you or the hags, but I honestly can't deal with two sets of bullies, there's nothing left for us...I better go tell Mister Light. The days of the carnival are gone, it was nice while it lasted... It wasn't perfect and I made several mistakes." Mister Witch stands up and starts patting his trousers to remove some dirt.
“Stop,” Peppermint says to Mr. Witch. “We’ll give you the watch back, and we’ll see about fixing what you couldn’t bother to fix, but you’ll tell Dirlagraun and the others after the blow off tonight, or I will.”
"So don't you think you should do something as Peppermint said ? You were just hoping it will go away ? Nothing goes away with hags."
Hazel continues: "Should someone go to this Prismeer and have a word with the Hags, bring back Star and look for Zyblina ? I mean we could maybe force the hags to give us back what she stole from us. I am sure Andrick will be down for that. He seems to have lost something quite precious."
Elle chips in "I should go too, I feel like I've lost something as well..."
“Stop,” Peppermint says to Mr. Witch. “We’ll give you the watch back, and we’ll see about fixing what you couldn’t bother to fix, but you’ll tell Dirlagraun and the others after the blow off tonight, or I will.”
"That's fair enough, I'll explain what's going on. I've seen Burly suspicious about us as well and they deserve to know what's going on."
As you were talking with Witch the Big top roars with excitment when a new Witchlight monarch is named by Mr. Light, after a little while Mister Light looks for his partner and found you discussing about the whole situation. The scene shows a very clear picture of what's going on, Mr Witch with his hat off explaining things - He never explains himself -
"So they know now? huh?... I guess it's time we let everyone know that we won't running the show again." says Mister Light
"What?" Peppermint says. "We're going to help you with the hags and you're going to shut down the show? You can't do that. Besides, won't the hags enact some sort of grizzly revenge on you breaking the deal?"

Andrick makes his way to the wagon, taking advantage of it being unguarded, intending to see if there is anything incriminating to use if the alternative scheme goes awry. Being careful to leave things undisturbed, he checks out the usual spots for hidden items - under mattresses, backs of drawers, etc…

Mister Witch’s bunk is neat and unadorned. Mister Light’s bunk is gaudy and messy, with costumes strewn everywhere. As you check for anything interesting you see an open hatbox with a golden label The Witchlight Monarch.
"What?" Peppermint says. "We're going to help you with the hags and you're going to shut down the show? You can't do that. Besides, won't the hags enact some sort of grizzly revenge on you breaking the deal?"
"Their end of the bargain was to put the original owners of the witchlight carnival on our way so we would need to swap back our properties, something devastating to both of us butmaybe not as grizzly as you imagine. Besides the carnival can't continue to the following destination unless we start getting everything ready in maybe the next twenty minutes"
Peppermint shakes her head, taking her mask off. Her cheeks are streaked with tears. “I don’t understand. Why can’t you just keep the Carnival going while we take care of the hags? Why does it have to end? Can you… give it to someone else?”

Hazel jumps in: "Soooo, you think that if we can take care of those hags, the real owner of the Carnival will show up. Maybe they enjoyed your propertie and they would like to keep it ? Or maybe you could buy it ? Anyway, you are saying that we have only 20 min to jump to the Hags' Realms. How do we do that ? Is there a magical door ?"

Mister Light jumps to the conversation concerned about what Witch caused "I'm sure we still have time to continue with the Carnival's agenda and get you to Prismeer if you are willing to do that... Mister Witch is a strickler for the time constraints of planar travel" says that with a fading smile but then continues "So let's make the best of the time we have left, shall we?" He starts walking towards the next attraction, the hall of illusions any shade of concern would wipe out off Light's face when a kid or visitor waved him goodbye as they were heading towards the exit and he would bow to each one and jump or do a silly thing to amuse them. Witch was dragging his feet through the mud hanging behind everyone nervously hoping that his watch would appear attached to his chain.

"Well, if you take care of them I don't think they'll be able to carry on with that threat...I would really hope that'd be the case but let's move, there is little time to waste talking. Yes we know a way to Prismeer"
As Witch and Light move through the Hall of Illusions, their reflections in the mirrors show them as gloomy shadar-kai children, with your own youthful reflections following behind. Soon, they call you to a halt. The mirrors now reflect everyone’s true age.
Mister Witch stays next to a lonely mirror and asks for his watch. If he receives it he'll rapidly check the time.
Yoli hears all of this, so he tells Andrick, "I think we should give them back the watch, and quickly. We only have 20 minutes to do it or else we won't be able to get back what we've lost"
On the walk over, Peppermint dries her face on a sleeve, then slips her mask back on. She loosens her sword in its scabbard as the group comes to a halt. “Give the elf his watch,” she says, agreeing with Yoli.

Returning from the wagon, Andrick listens as he’s quickly brought up to speed. Gritting his teeth, he throws the watch at Mister Witch ‘Gods spare me from idiots and their deals. You’ve a lot to answer for - you can begin by getting us to Prismeer so we can start to unpick your mess.’ he suddenly grins, his teeth showing ‘I can’t imagine the former owners will be too pleased when they find out what you did either…’

Andrick takes a closer look at the hatbox…
You can assume that it is where they keep the Witchlight Monarch Crown, but right now is not there.
