Yoli descends down and sees that Peppermint is clearly hiding very poorly. He whispers, "It seems that hiding isn't going to work. Perhaps we'll have to resort to charm and diplomacy. I think if we stand together we'll look strong enough to deter any hostility." Yoli then stands in the middle of the road, come what may. He's trying to exude an air of courage, but his stomach is churning from fright.
As Hazel starts wading into the swampwater, Yoli calls out, "Hazel come back! We need to stand together and look strong enough to not be messed with! Let's just talk to them and see what they know."
Sticky mud squelches beneath your feet. Tangled mangroves grow out of pools of rippling water, half hidden by the thick fog, and purple mushrooms cling to rotting logs and stumps scattered throughout the marsh. Crickets that glow like fireflies chirp serenely before they’re snatched out of the air by the tongues of hungry frogs.
Now the song and marching harengons can be perceived easily by all of you, they are distracted singing, the sounds of the marsh's fauna and the thickness of the fog gives you enough time to place yourselves wherever you like to (No need to roll stealth, you are hiding as long as you are not in plain sight)
You are somewhere near the base of the highway, consider that this whole area (and as far as you can see) is covered by swamplike terrain. This area is mostly an annoyance, the mud barely gets to your ankles sometimes a whole foot will be covered by it.
Yoli spots a good spot to hide just off the highway. "Peppermint, look over there, it's perfect. Let's duck down there, it's close enough to help Seer if he gets into trouble."
Then, at the continued cajoling by Hazel and Yoli, she slinks over to where they are hiding, a distance away in the mist. (She won’t go further than one move away, so 30’ or so)
”On your heads if Seer is gutted before we reach him,” she says, cheerily.

Is anyone waiting in front of the rabbit folk?
(OK so I'm going to prep the ice knife spell, just in case we need it, you can tag me in the discord chat when I should use it because I can roll correctly this time)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seer makes his way down carefully, letting the others know his plan as he goes...
'So I'm going to add a new verse to their song, get them onside and see if we can't arrange an audience with this self-styled prince. I'm sure the presence of the hags must be interfering with honest banditry, so I think we might be able to make them allies - or at least get some information from them... Keep back and ready for action if I give you the signal, which will look a lot like me drawing my rapier and making a tactical retreat.'
Standing out in the open, portraying a relaxed attitude, Seer breaks into trained, dulcet tones as the Harengon approach, harmonizing with their song and then extending it...

"Hey I'm going to cast guidance again, just for good luck, ok"
*elle pats him on the back gently to cast the spell*
((advantage is fine - due to new verse)) The harengons march and sing, by the time they spot Seer you can see how their ears turn to face the bard's direction, confused but with a kind of arrogant attitude a Harengon steps forward some 10 to 20 feet of distance "oi! singer! where did you hear that? I don't think none of use heard that last part before. You trying to be funny? - that last word will be dropped with a hostile/cartoonish gesture "I like the effort though, teach us that one last verb and then get out of our face" - He'll take a small notebook from a satchel and small piece of coal, he wets the tip of it and says "Ok, do it again" besides the satchel this one who's also at the front of the group carries a gourd with a big cork
You notice the Giant Snail struggling in the back, trying to shake the two harengons that are controlling it. The rest of the group will get in a resting stance, some using their shoulders to rest their club and some other start playing with the dirt in their fingernails.
Yoli is down in the swamp chewing on his fingernails out of nervousness. He feels sorry for the Giant Snail, and wishes he could do something to help it escape, but he dare not say or do anything yet, for fear of disrupting Seer's efforts. He thinks to himself, "Bargain with them, Seer. Offer the lyrics in exchange for the snail!"
'You may address me as Seer, the bard and teller of fortunes, rather than "singer", if you please. And who do I address, in turn?' he says, standing tall and straight, projecting his words to draw everyone's attention on him, the performer...
'I'll teach you the last verse, and perhaps some others, in return for news and information, as me and my companions are new to this realm...'
He coughs pointedly, looking at the gourd 'And perhaps you have some libations? Singing is thirsty work after all?'

"The name's Jebbek, so Seer huh??" you notice now that the leader seems to be a female harengon. "I sure don't know what a libations is, but if you thirsty look around! there's plenty water to drink, ain't that right?" she turns to the rest of the band who get the cue to laugh. "now for reals, we want to know the last verse. What do you say if you teach us and we let you and your friends" she stops to see around but notices no one "go with all your precious memories."
'How about this, Jebbek.. I'll teach you the last verse, and then we can discuss if you'd like a song of your own exploits - in exchange for knowledge.'
He gives another significant look to the gourd 'And I'm sure you're very aware that water isn't a drink for the singing of songs, and the telling of tales!' he grins, and then breaks into song again...
'Agdon Longscarf runs straight and true, Cross his path and you will rue! But share a song, and a hearty laugh, And he will see you in his gaff. He'll share a meal, and talk of news, And send his guests upon their quest! To ease the blight, And set things right, Thanks to Agdon Longscarf, brigand prince of Prismeer!'

Jebbek and the rest pay attention to new verse and they seem pleased. "nice Seer, I think we got it, I'll share this later with Agdon he'll surely be pleased...you are free to go." Also noticing Seer's interest in the gourd she says "Oh! there is no water here but it'll be better if I don't show you what it does... you wouldn't believe me if I simply tell you...Guys! let's move!" - ((If there's nothing else you'd like to do with them they'll continue marching and will try to add the new verse to the song.))
