Racked with indecision, Neela hesitates. Run after the kobold but risk Valarken following and discovering her friends. But if she doesn't, then the kobold who dashed out of the room surely would. And a part of her so desperately wants to know the story behind this Will-o'-Wisp. She sincerely hopes that Razul is still with her and can offer some kind of warning to the others. She decides to try and buy just a little bit of time. Speaking in a loud voice, she first says "Hey, where are you going?" hoping that her friends might hear it and it would offer them a little warning. Then jutting her chin out and puffing out her chest, she stands her ground and faces Valarken.
"Hey Valarken, I've been wondering. What were you when you were alive? I bet you were a great and mighty warrior. I mean, you must have been, to now work with Duskbringer. Because great dragons like Duskbringer would only take advice from somebody equally powerful. Equally? Or more? You were probably more powerful but now you don't have a body right, so you kind of have to work with them. That must really suck."
Neela - Valarken abruptly stops laughing and floats over to you, "What was I? I was Grand Duke of Baldur's Gate! Back when it was the shining jewel of the Sword Coast and not the veritable nest of rats and vipers that it is today. But I was betrayed and driven from the city! I was forced to deal with unscrupulous mercenaries with tenuous loyalty to try and retake my rightful seat. I was denied once more... But now... With Duskbringer at my side... No, under my command! With the dragon under my command I can finally have my revenge! I can raze Baldur's Gate to its foundation and build anew. I can tear out its black heart of corruption and rule firmly, fairly, and justly. Just as I did so many years ago..." Valarken pauses for a moment as if lost in memory, then says, "What is your name little one? You seem... different than the others. More... confident. More wise for certain. Yes, wise beyond your years. More so than that toothless Kashak. He can barely keep his subordinates from wandering off... Disgusting. The common rabble must know the firm hand of governance and the taste of the lash should they step out of line. You could do that though, couldn't you? You could organize your fellow kobolds into the obedient, loyal warriors I need them to be. Yes, and I will elevate you above all else! You will be a god in their eyes as my second in command. You will do it, yes? Say you will!" Valarken's tone had been rising as he rambled, reaching a shrill crescendo at his last command.
Yasmina & Krugh - Both Razul and Krugh hear a CRACKfollowed by crazed laughter echoing from the stairwell that Neela and the other kobold ascended. Seconds later you see the kobold scurrying down the stairs as fast as he can. He hasn't noticed you yet. You may each take a turn before he does.
Krugh - As you try to hurry back to the barracks you step on a large shallow bowl in the pile of treasure and lose your balance. You land on your backside in the bowl as it slides down the mound of coins and sends you skittering and spinning across the floor.
Yasmina turns pale as the half-orc bursts out into the next room without agreeing to a plan first, almost starting to cry out of fear of him setting the dragon on the children. She just looks helplessly up at Thelan and Sinak, not sure what to do other than try to protect the children.
"Krugh's got company out there, please hurry and help him so that he doesn't bring the dragon upon us all."Yasmina pleads to Thelan and Sinak, staying close by the children.
Krugh - The kobold looks terrified of something as it practically falls down the last few steps to the ground floor. It catches itself and risks a glance over its shoulder at the stairwell before turning and noticing you. It cries out in a language you do not understand and doesn't seem to understand you. It sees what you're holding and takes a step back, clearly bewildered. The kobold then shouts loudly and draws a spear from a sling on its back. You then see another kobold stick its head out of a nearby door and shout as well.
Sinak peeks through the door and hears the clatter, sees Krugh fall on the floor and then get up, start to talk to the armored kobold as he comes down the stairs off to the left. Sinak hunkers down and tries to stay in the shadows, peeks around the corner, trying to stay out of sight. Seeing the ploy not going as planned and knowing that quiet and stealth is key to their goal, he starts casting silence, centered on the kobold’s armor or more ideally on his shield if he is carrying one, aiming to silence any screams or alarms. He motions behind him for Thelan to come out, to attack and drag this silenced kobold to their hiding place if possible. He gestures to Krugh with a “C’mon!” motion and points to the kobold.
Thelan puts a finger to his lips and whispers to the children “Stay quiet and stay behind us.” His shoulders fall as he peers through the barracks door and sees the kolbolds appear and shout at Krugh. Initiative. 15.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sinak stays where he is, tries to eliminate the smaller threat first to prevent Krugh getting flanked. He shoots a bolt of fire out of his hand toward the kobold that just entered the room. “Ignis!” he says to himself. Then he readies his shield.

Depending on where I am I duck into the pile of treasure, back to barracks or put the door.

I rolled a Con saving throw in the game log and got a 10
So I assume I don't throw up at least.
"Whoooooaaaaaaa, ugh... That wasn't nearly as much fun as it might have looked"
As the Kobold comes down the stairs and sees this I rise out of the bowl and look at him with a mean demeanor.
"You there, where is your leader, I'm here to replace his sorry excuse for a lifeform"

If the kobold comes down and noone else is around, once Krugh sees that he isn't going for it the only way to silence him is with an axe I think.

Yasmina initiative: 18
I'll likely be asleep during your "later tonight" so feel free to bot Krugh as needed.
As a first action Krugh will charge the Kobold closer to the barracks and then attempt to block the way there if at all possible.
He'll start by charging that kobold with his GreatAxe: 18
Or if he can't cover the distance he'll use the same attack roll to throw a handaxe.
Handaxe damage: 7
Greataxe damage: 11
