“What?” Drez raises an eyebrow at Kocino, looking genuinely confused. “Lady…Killer?” He frowns, unsure if the statement was meant to be a joke or if it had some other meaning he wasn’t aware of.
He pulls out his crossbow as soon as he catches wind of the Zombies. But soon realizes that fleeing would be the best option right now. They need to be at full strength when they face Simon. Fighting undead now would not be helpful in the slightest. He glares at the zombies, but is also slightly fascinated by them. His magic never worked long enough, and he never had the energy to make more then one at a time, so he could never accumulate such a force of undead…not that he really wanted to, but he had a feeling it would come in handy if he could. Then again, so would healing magic. If not for the mission at hand, he would have stayed to fight instead of jumping down the tunnel. As it is, he does not hesitate to jump down the tunnel. Under different conditions he might have tried to get Gilded to go ahead of him, but now there was no time for arguing.
Sloden lights the way for those without darkvision. He seems to speak less and less, but appears unafraid of the zombies. Instead, he studies their faces, looking for anything recognizable.
“This day can’t get any worse. Took a lot of pain from the giants, then the cultists. Then we were exiled, and struck by spies, and now there’s a horde of zombies. What’s next? We fight werewolves?”

Corvus's blast hit's a nearby tree and it looks like it's about to fall soon! (If the team holds the undead off every round of combat is six seconds in DnD. Jess has 3 minutes left for the cast so I won't count everyone else's attacks in case they choose to run in the tunnel instead.) Kocino doesn't notice much down the hole but the one's that head down at least see many green lights and glowing stones. Tables with old pages and worn down tools and used up ingredients in old abandoned lab of Simon's it seemed. Further down the walls was runes and there was fancy ornamental empty suits of armor with fanciful roses upon them as decorations. End of the room was a giant green rune it's magical energy was barring the door from further entry.
OOC: If anyone does rather stay outside and fight I will add another post for those who choose to stay outside and battle.
Also Gilded had the STR to give someone advantage but no one rolled advantage with his aid. So someone needs to make an STR ability check to close the door behind them.
Jess will advise that no one touch the door with the big green glowing rune on it. She will cast detect magic as a ritual to further examine the old lab.
Ten minutes pass this time? The runes on the door are indeed magical the runes on the walls have long since lost their magic. The only magic Jess is able to see is the walls and a faint of residual magic on the empty armor's.
OOC Just a fast link/reminder of the spell for everybody just in case
When Jess mentions that there is magic on the armor. Gilded will perform detect good and evil.
"You say this armor is magic? I must say I am interested in it. Do not necessarily like roses, but the armor looks fascinating. May come I handy against Simon."
Drezmir's scars burn as he pushes against the door, and a sudden burst of strength overcomes him. He feels something move within him, and a prickling sensation ran across his skin. Once the door is closed, he steps back, shrugging off the strange sensation, "Huh, you two must have loosened it up a little." He laughs before looking down the corridor.
He eyes the armor, "I'm not sure that armor is battle ready. It looks pretty ornamental to me."He walks up to it, searching for any indication as to what the enchantment might be...

Gilded is last to drop into the hole, he pulls the door shut behind him.

With advantage cause Gilded.
Jess can even give Guidance too.
The DC is 15
Ok, I think Jess decided to hold off on her spell ritual and we all ran down the tunnel after just 1 round ish.
After we get the door closed (maybe), Gilded will definitely check out the armor.

Okay ^^ just gotta see who will make the STR check.
Vex has good STR right? Maybe he could roll with advantage and guidance ^^

Can she see what school of magic is being emitted? It might give her a better idea of what the magic is meant to do.
She will warn the others that there's some kind of magic in the empty armor, and it could be some kind of defense mechanism.
Sure, I’ll roll strength. 6
Well that’s bad, that is even counting advantage.
