As Jess uses gust the cloaked figure reaches to grab his hood. (Dex save against Jess's DC)
20
One of the hooded figures look over to Jess before casting a spell her way. The bar had looked at her casting gust and this man now casting a spell. With that these hooded figure's began to leave.
Wisdom save DC13 for Jess!
Corvus's Crow does well to remain hidden but for it's perception to keep track? These hooded figures sprint off the door and began to scatter and hide about the city. The crow could see them at least split off before hiding.
Flynn had looked to Corvus, raising an eyebrow at the mention of the word "Vengeance."
"I can't say the idea of revenge.. Sways me, Kirai hadn't done well to convince me with that bitter aura either. That being said.. I have told Drezmir the knowledge you seek and he may tell you. Though for now I would recommend you all take leave, if you wish to see the board before you go however.. I will write you all down as bronze rank adventurer's."
As Drezmir ask about Kirai knowing about this.
"When it comes to WHOM she is.. He would know more than me.. He only wanted to know if I knew her movements as of late.. I knew of weird experiments in the mountains.. Hushed whispers so I wasn't sure."
Flynn had pulled out a medal from his pocket before marking the place of the blade on a map for Drezmir.
"I can't leave now but this medal.. It'll prove I sent you."
Flynn had looked to Sy with hands on his side with a soft smile.
If I had a gold for every gloomy patron telling me not to be afraid.. I could buy myself a second tavern! It is a pleasure! I will be honest friend.. You are certainly strange! Though I know that being an adventurer usually attracts the more.. Eccentric types so I can't be surprised can I? I wish you all luck!"
OOC If they fail that Dex than they can see their face before leaving!
Corvus shrugs. He hadn't really expected to gain useful information from this man, but it seems that Drezmir had done the job for him. When Crow returns only a short while after the figures leave, Corvus curses under his breath. His bloody dragon has been rather useless lately. As if sensing his thoughts, the little dragon snorts then dives into his pack and curls up around Simon's Orb.
He waves his left hand at Flynn, "Very well," He says as he turns back to Jess.
Jess feels a sting of.. Laughter? Is this hidious laughter? She finds herself with an uncontrollable urge to cackle and laugh doubled over (prone)
Corvus had turned quick enough to see the figures had just left and now Jess was struck with the spell of hideous laughter. The bar had looked over rather.. Concerned? Many were also giving her strange looks and some had even began to scoot away from the situation changing tables. Flynn had sighed lightly to the sight.
"What a dirty trick.. I mean she did cast at them first but.. They seemed creepy either way I suppose."
Corvus frowns, then walks up and slaps Jess to try to rid her of the spell, talons lightly brushing her face. "Get a hold of yourself, then I say we follow them." He says in a low voice. "If we can find them anyway." He tries to help her to her feet.

(If the spell didn't require damage to be taken, I would have just had him punch her...)
Once Jess is on her feet, Corvus looks back at Drezmir, "I'm going to try to follow those strangers. Shall we reconvene here at Dusk? If we are still allowed to stay here that is? I'm guessing you are going to set up a meeting for us?" He looks to Jess, and ignores Juzi. The elf would probably follow if Jess decides to come with him, but that does not mean he has to acknowledge him. "You may accompany me if you wish, I do have a plan to track them, but it is not absolutely necessary for you to come if you would rather travel with Drezmir."
"I see," Drez says, nodding. "Oh... yes, those experiments were what led to those false dragons. Honestly we had no idea what we were in for when we headed up there, we all thought we were just chasing some bandits. ...but... well things escalated quickly to say the least." He hesitates, accepting the medal, "I will retrieve the blade as soon as I am able, today hopefully. My comrades and I will surely return tonight for a place to stay, so I can give you that update then. I will also send the message to Kirai and his comrades as soon as I can."
He looks to Corvus, "If my...uh... rank can get us in as soon as we wish, I think it might be best to hold off on the meeting until tomorrow. We don't know how well it will go, so if there is anything we want to do here before we have to leave I suggest we do that first. I think I'll take a look at that board, and then decide on what I'd like to do afterwards." He smiles, "Perhaps I'll see about that... wind surfing was it? It sounds like a good challenge and it could prove useful if we end up facing more of those...false dragons. Or a real one for that matter. But yes, do as you wish and we will meet back here at dawn. We can discuss what we want to do tomorrow when everyone is back together again."
Juzi's eyes went wide as he saw Jess attempt to blast the hood off of the head of her target, only for the man to catch the hood and cling to it for dear life. Juzi had tried to bite back a laugh at the sight, but then Jess had started laughing herself. As she fell to the floor laughing, so did Juzi. Hitting the floor together, they caught each other's eyes simultaneously. After a moment's pause at the realization of their synchronicity, they burst into new, greater fits of revelry. As they rolled on the floor together laughing even harder than before, Juzi couldn't believe just how much better things had gotten for him since meeting his new friends.
Juzi laughed right up until the moment that he saw Corvus come over an slap Jess. In an instant, the wild-eyed elf had leapt to his feet and started bouncing up and down in manic agitation. He had moved to get up in Covus's personal space as he repeatedly blew out his cheeks in what seemed to be an attempt to pin down feelings that clearly wanted to escape. Juzi kept oscillating his frantic gaze from Corvus to Jess as he rode out the raging bull inside him trying to escape its captivity.
At the thankfully quick recovery of Jess's wits, Juzi's temperature began to cool....a little. He started to think he understood what might be happening here, but he was a hair-trigger from no longer being able to control himself.
Corvus gives Juzi a cool stare when the elf gets up in his space, but does not back down even though the elf is at least a head and a half taller than the Aarakocra. However, his gaze does not linger long on the agitated elf.
He looks back at Drezmir, "Very well if that is what you think is best." Corvus responds coolly. If his companions were intent on doing other things, he could not stop them. He does need Drezmir in order to get an audience with those nobles, so it would be best not to agitate him. For now, Corvus would content himself with hunting down those hooded figures. If they proved to be followers of that bloody demon...his metal talons scrape together loudly.
He glances at Jess, "Well? What say you? Do you want to follow those strangers or not?" Without waiting for an answer, he starts for the door.
Zim appeared to grow a bit angry with Corvus, though he had calmed down a few of the patrons began to watch curiously wondering if they'd see a fight break out. Corvus had wanted to track these running off. Perhaps if they hurried they could try to follow these people even if crow wasn't doing well keeping an eye on them. Kocino's blade had rattled a bit but remained silent. Jess had managed to recollect herself and she was willing to follow Corvus! She surprisingly hadn't cared of Corvus's rough way of bringing her back. This lead to one patron remarking rather loudly while drinking.
"Bloody relationships are off the walls these days."
Before downing the rest of bottle.
OOC For those giving chase to those splitting up! Roll me a perception and a stealth check please ^~^
Corvus nods as Jess follows him and he holds the doors open for her. Then he spreads his wings, flying above the buildings in order to get a clear view of the area and those in it.
Jess doesn’t give a second thought to Corvus’ rough manner towards her. She and he think alike, it was a logical thing to do for quick results. In that regard, she is appreciative. But now is not the time to dissect that sort of thing.
Before Corvus takes off, Jess tries to quickly strategize with him. “These folk are dangerous. We could be outmatched if we face the whole group. Really we only need catch 1 of them, if possible.”
She will quickly beckon Juzi to follow her as well; she hopes he will stick with her.
Once outside the inn, she will shapeshift into a wolf with blue fur that has the appearance of being wet, flowing slowly in the air as if underwater. If Juzi is accompanying her, she will dance playfully around him for a few moments, jumping up and barking at him affectionately, then get to work with the tracking.
Perception 13
But a wolf has keen hearing and smell, and if applicable, the perception check with advantage from that is 21 instead
Stealth 4, or using the wolf’s stealth ability, a 6 instead, not that that seems like it’ll matter
(Waiting for a response from Kocino and Sy to see what they want to do. In the meantime though, Drezmir does look at the board. If Flynn is still willing to talk, he also inquires about the boards since he was interested in the Sky riding.)
OOC I can wait for Kocino and Sy to respond to Drezmir before I do too much with him but I can write what's on the board. I'll wait to see who goes with Jess and Corvus to write on that side of things as well.

Board
Screaming Terror
There appears to be a problem north of the capital, banshee's have made their home in a cove on the beach, attacking sailors and the like who came anywhere to close! Come see Flynn if you are interested in taking matters into you're own hands! Reward: 1000 gold!
Underbelly
In the underbelly of Dawn lies a darker shadow, downtown in the self made "Red Light District" there is a man who has been causing quiet a few problems. This task though it may take muscle.. Will honestly take a bit of tact as well see Flynn for further details.
Reward: 1200 gold
The rest of the missions on the board however don't seem to be available for anyone with only a bronze medal. Though even those two missions are recommended for gold medal and above but are allowed to anyone. There does seem to be one bronze medal mission to get rid of some goblins, a quest that Drezmir gets the feeling is a bit beneath their current party strength and it only pays 25 gold. Perhaps they could grab it but it didn't seem incredibly beneficial though the goblins are attacking merchants on the plains outside of town.
Kocino watches Jess and Corvus rush out the door. “They are outnumbered. We should probably follow. We can stay at a distance and get a lay of the land.”
Corvus nods, "I agree, though if catching them proves to be out of the question, I will settle for simply following and figuring out where they are going. That by itself could tell us who they work for." He spreads his wings, "Keep me in your sights, I'll signal if I see them."
