One of the guards gives a quick description to find the other mansions where the leaders were murdered. When you arrive at one, there is a similar situation with guards covering the area.
Nagas, she relaxes slightly as you back away. "I might be willing to prove my trustworthiness. How would you propose we prove this?"

"Of course I'm right. I've read all five issues of the 'Detective Naosi' series. I'm practically an expert." With a sly smile and a tinge of sarcasm in his voice, Ino follows his brother's lead to the next scene. "I would've liked to see the rest of the mansion, but that can wait."

"Yes, let us compare the crime scenes before we go snooping around someone's house." Reygon says, after rolling his eyes at Ino's previous remark.
Once they are at the second crime scene, Reygon once again addresses the guards and shows them the seal. "We are here to investigate the crime scene. Mind telling us were it is?"

Feloren relaxes but doesn't remove her hand from where it rests on her sheathed rapier. "We could start with your name and a better reason for why you were following us? The "interested bystander" play just doesn't sit well with me. Here, I'll start: my name is Feloren and we are investigating the murders of members of the Twelve. Your turn." She looks pointedly at the woman.

Once again, the guards allow you up to the crime scene. It looks very similar, but this time the body is still there. A guard comments "This one was just last night. The next one was about fifteen minutes after, but its twenty minutes away by foot." The body is lying on the bed, with the sheets slightly ruffled. He is a very old leonin. There are no signs of struggle, but there is a very thin bruise around his neck. This room has no mirror.
Feloren, she rolls her eyes. "My name is Diane. This city is in an important time. A time of change. The rulers are dying and the people are primed to riot. There are others like me right now, people spying on the twelve, on the captains of the guard, and on newcomers to Meletis. Everyone knows this is the time to rise to power, and to do that you need to have powerful friends and know who your powerful enemies are. And so I watch. I watch everything I can." She seems fairly honest, although she still seems a little shifty.

Reygon starts investigating, though he is careful not to touch anything. He is looking for any kind of footprints, fingerprints or any sign of recent activity. He also takes a look at the bruise. Does it look similar to the marks found on the wood in the last crime scene?

Ino joins his brother in looking at the body, but then breaks off on his own to look for evidence of how the killer got in the room. He then looks for evidence of escape, or anything that could help identify suspects. Hair, clothing fibers, footprints, fingerprints, and tool/weapon marks are what he's looking for.

Shortly after Feloren reveals her identity, Nagas does the same "I am Nagas, and our friends ahead can introduce themselves if we get that far." Nagas steps confidently toward Feloren and stands by her.
(When I said this room has no mirror, I meant window. I'm not quite sure what happened there.)
While you investigate the room, you find nothing magical. Ino, when you search the area, you find a similar mark on the leg of the bed to the one in the room of the last murder. You follow the line to the middle of the floor, which you realize has been cut. You can pick up a circle of the floor and remove it. There is just enough room for a thin human to climb up, but not enough room for a thick rope. It would have to be something akin to wire.

"Look at this." Straining, Ino picks up the circle in the floor. "An entrance. The same wire-thing the killer used to climb up to the previous crime scene was probably used here. The hole's a little too thick for a rope, but with the wire someone on the smaller size could probably squeeze through."

Reygon walks over to Ino and looks down the hole, "You are right! Good job little brother!" He slaps his brother on the back, "I certainly can't fit down there, but you on the other hand! You could go down there and look around. See where it goes?"
A quick 'ack' escapes Ino's mouth as he's slapped by Reygon. "Me? I-- Why--" He stammers for a few seconds, wide-eyed, before accepting his fate with a very heavy sigh. "Fine." He ties the rope at his hip, preparing to anchor it to something and rappel down the hole. It's not until after he begrudgingly hands one end of the rope to his brother and gets into position to start dropping down that he realizes: "I don't think I'm gonna fit in this thing with the rope. It's too thick."

“It’s worth a try,” Reygon chuckles, “Your probably smaller than whoever came in here.” He grins, We could always tie it to your horns, then you’ll fit!”
"I'd rather jump without a rope." Ino, shooting a glare in Reygon's direction, steps away from the gaping maw in the ground. He contemplates hitting the minotaur while untying the rope wrapped around his waist. "But, amazingly, you have a point. I wish I had a small winch on hand, but if I do this..." He ties a small slipknot at his end of the rope, slides one hand in the loop, and tightens it around his wrist. "If I just hold on with one hand, and hold it above my head, I should fit." He walks over to the hole again, and sits on the edge. "How's that sound?"
