The pounding of drums to the north (behind Szazzul) rings clearly now. Over the fighting, you can hear a familiar voice barking commands to the marching formation of steel-clad dwarves, "Move, Move! Do ye not see that black bastard there?! By the bedrock, we're just in time. Bows, make ready! Spears, front!" At the center of the group, Bründir Halfshield marches ahead of his troops, swinging a shining sword and shield while barking his commands. A sea of a dozen and a half spears emerge from the tight shield wall and movement in the back indicates some unseen motion in process.
