”This is Undril, she is a cleric from the Order of the Gauntlet. She seeks passage to camp vengeance, which is south of the city. I figured we may be able to help, in return for our escort, there is payment and information regarding the death curse.”
Undril gives a bow to the party and gives a warm smile, as warm as a half-orc can give. "I am Whitehawk Undril, of the Order of the Gauntlet. I have recently been transferred to Chult and am seeking passage to Camp Vengeance, which is located about 9 days journey up the River Soshenstar. Our order has heard of the Death Curse and my superiors have sent word to Commander Breakbone detailing what they know of this curse. I am sure if you can get me safely to Camp he would be willing to share what our Order knows. You will also be well compensated for this task. I am sorry that I cannot give out any of this information because it would be considered treason if I were to do so. You must understand. I am a soldier, a damned good one and I would not risk my career and loyalties by giving you this information without my Commander hearing about it first."

“So are you a guide or seeking a guide? Because we aren’t an escort service. We have a time sensitive mission that requires the skill of knowledge of someone familiar with the dangerous jungles around here.”
Undril looks over at Kaslo and frowns. " I think I made my intentions very clear. If you do not understand what I am saying then maybe you are not the people that I would need to help me. I am sure others would like to know the information that the order possesses about the death curse. If you do not need this information then I would be happy to be on my way and find someone else to take me to Camp Vengeance."
“Undril is not a guide, but we know we need to leave the port. It wouldn’t hurt to stop at camp vengeance. We could take it as time to recover and possibly restock. Plus the information that the order has regarding the death curse could be of value to us. I think it is worth the stop along our journey. Time sensitive or not, we have no idea what we are getting into.”

Vart is with you but since I am controlling him for a few days he has no input to any decisions. He will basically be following you around and in combat, I will control him.
“Well if the party wants to escort this Cleric of the Gauntlet to their destination that’s fine, but I suggest we hire Eku as our guide. I have no intention of wandering into those jungles without one.”
"I would like to hear more about this 'Camp Vengeance'," Zachariah says, interrupting Kaslo and Thor. "Is it a military installation?"
Undril looks over at Zachariah. "Camp Vengeance is actually our backup camp. Our original camp here in Chult was Camp Righteous but it was overrun and is now in ruins. The order came to Chult to rid the jungles of the Undead Menace."
Everyone has heard f the Order of the Gauntlet. This is what you know about them.
Many paladins and clerics of Tyr, Helm, Torm, and Hoar have joined the organization, seeing it as—finally!—a way of making common cause against the evils abroad in the world. The Order of the Gauntlet is ready to lash out the moment evil acts, and not a moment before. When evil breaks laws, agreements, or commonly accepted codes of conduct, the Gauntlet strikes hard and fast, without waiting for the blessings of distant temples or the permission of rulers. Evil must be met in the field and smashed, or it will swiftly overcome all.
The Order of the Gauntlet is a dedicated, tightly knit group of like-minded individuals driven by religious zeal or a finely honed sense of justice. Friendship and camaraderie are important to members of the Order of the Gauntlet, and they share a trust and a bond normally reserved for siblings. Like highly motivated soldiers, members of the Order of the Gauntlet seek to become the best at what they do and look forward to testing their mettle. There are few, if any, “lone wolves” in this organization.
BELIEFS
Faith is the greatest weapon against evil—faith in one’s god, one’s friends, and one’s self.
Battling evil is an extraordinary task that requires extraordinary strength and bravery.
Punishing an evil act is just. Punishing an evil thought is not.
GOALS
To be armed, vigilant, and ready to smite evil, enforce justice, and enact retribution. This means identifying evil threats such as secretive power groups and inherently evil creatures, watching over them, and being ready to attack the moment they misbehave. (These are always retributive strikes, never preemptive.)
“Well if the party wants to escort this Cleric of the Gauntlet to their destination that’s fine, but I suggest we hire Eku as our guide. I have no intention of wandering into those jungles without one.”
Salida frowns at your words before speaking out. "I to am a guide that knows the dangers of the jungle and how to traverse through them. I know where the ancient ruins of Orolunga are as well and could take you there. Eku is not the only guide in Port Nyanzaru that knows of the Jungle's dangers. I have led many successful expeditions into the jungle and my groups have all come back rich. Hire me and I will bring you back safely from wherever you wish to go."
Eku just smiles at Salida's words and stands quietly watching the party. Anyone meeting her eyes gets a warm feeling of peace spread throughout their body.
Zachariah looks at the party members near him. "I believe we should help this noble cleric reach her destination safely." Smiling at Undril, he continues, "Any aid I can give to the Order of the Gauntlet would be an honor." With a swift, practiced motion, he touches two fingers to his temple, then to his lips, and then a closed fist to the emblem on his chest as he bows slightly from the waist.
Alright then, which of you two are cheaper? I heard one of you wanted 5g but that seems a little too high for my likings... are there any other offers on the table?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
When Tap looks at Eku he feels gets a warm, calming sensation that spreads throughout his body. The crystal on his chest reacts slightly, pinging softly against conciseness. Wondering if Eku is perhaps using some type of enchantment magic similar to his own, Tap reaches out towards her with his arcane senses.
Wow! That's exactly what we needed! What do you think guys?

That's fine, we can hire her and take the job. We'd make a net profit, get supplies, and find some useful information.

I would like to make an insight check on her as well, to see if she is speaking true to her word: 20

Let the bargaining begin >:)
I also like having a guide that is true to their word, that won't be a problem will it?
Ahkmenos will glare at the guide I rolled a 20 on
