Taggart takes a drip of the Tej and smiles. This is excellent thank you. He reaches into a pocket and takes out the letter and offers it to Jobul. This should give better detail about what they request. I understand that guides must be paid, no one expects them to work for free.

Jobul takes another sip of Tej before taking the letter from Taggart. "See, I told you Tej was excellent. And that's great news about the test run versus the undead. We need all the help we can get fighting the undead scourge."
Jobul takes a moment to read the letter and when he is done he smiles. "Ah, Captain Firebeard, how is the old goat? I have just the right people for the job." He reaches back and hands the note to the woman with the fan. She takes a glance at it and walks into the house. Another woman comes running outside and picks up the fan and continues fanning Jobul.
"See my friends, What money and power make available to you." He says as he points to the woman behind him. "Anyway, as I was saying. I have just the right guides for Camp Vengeance. But it won't come cheap." He takes another bite from the banana and frowns at it. "Why don't we say for the Order I will give you the lot for 700 gold. They are the very best."
Meanwhile at the Red Bazaar
"The Maidens Kiss? I am sure a man such as yourself, and I mean no offense, cannot afford such a fine poison. It is 5,000 gold pieces a vial. And by the looks of you, I do not think you have that sort of money to drop in the Red Bazaar. But if you do I would be happy to take it from you."
Krav enters the Red Bazaar with a full pouch of gold and notices a few different stalls that sell clothes. One of them, in particular, catches your eye. As you make your way to the counter a Chultan woman smiles at you." How may I help you today friend Dwarf?"
Meanwhile at the Harbor Masters Office
Yellow enters the Harbor quarter and makes her way to the harbor masters office. Inside the office are two small desks and an office with a closed door. Sitting at one of the desks is a human male, not Chultan. He looks up at you as you enter and smiles. "A pleasure to see you Tabaxi. How may the Harbor Masters Office help you today? Are you scheduling a shipment to arrive in Chult or perhaps have one leaving? Are you here to pay taxes on a shipment? Maybe you have a dispute with one of our merchants that have brought supplies to or from the Harbor?"
Yellow smiles half seductively at the human. "Good afternoon. I'm Chevall Yellow on the Sea. I'm here on Order of the Gauntlet business. I need to speak with Harbor Master Zindar."
Taggart takes another drink of the Tej and eats some of the offered fruit. That’s excellent news that you have the guides requested! He glances over at Solis to help
Yellow smiles half seductively at the human. "Good afternoon. I'm Chevall Yellow on the Sea. I'm here on Order of the Gauntlet business. I need to speak with Harbor Master Zindar."
"Harbor Master Zindar is not in the office at the moment as you can see but how may I help you? I assure you I am licensed by the Merchant Princes to handle any dispute that arises in Port Nyanzaru. I am highly trained in these issues."
The man looks you up and down for a second and looks at Kaslo as well.
"If for some reason you feel I am inadequate to handle the situation and you must see Zindar then by all means. He is somewhere in the Harbor District. You could always leave me a message and he will get back to you in a couple of hours if you tell me where you are staying. Or you can go and try to find him. Your choice friend."
'Ah perhaps you have something less effective than Maiden's Kiss then" Kvothe says. "What do you have that I can coat the tip of a crossbow bolt with?"
'Ah perhaps you have something less effective than Maiden's Kiss then" Kvothe says. "What do you have that I can coat the tip of a crossbow bolt with?"
Drita browses around with Kvothe, she pretends that he’s not listening since Kvothe didn’t want to tell her what he is looking for.
The merchant sighs. "A man of your means I assume would do well with a basic poison. You can use the poison in this vial to coat one slashing or piercing weapon or up to three pieces of ammunition. Applying the poison takes an action. A creature hit by the poisoned weapon or ammunition must fight off the effects with their constitution or take minor poison damage. Once applied, the poison retains potency for 1 minute before drying. Something like this would run you 100 gold a vial"
"And if I was to ask you to throw in a Poisoner's Kit as well - would you be able to do it all for say 125 GP," Kvothe asks
"If I threw in the poisoners kit I think your math is off my friend. I would get rid of it all for the measly price of 165 gold. A large sum I am sure but for one that deals with poisons you already know they are costly."The merchant smiles.
Krav humphs as he gestures at his outfit, grinning with only a little embarrassment.
"I'm looking for more comfortable clothes than this, though ones that still allow for movement. And keep the sun off!"
The woman looks you over and smiles. "It looks like it fits just fine sir. I'm sure I can provide you with other clothes but that outfit."She licks her lips and gives a grin back to you. "That outfit shows strength, confidence, power. It suits you." She goes to a rack and pulls out some clothes that are a dark greenish color, a pair of shorts, shirt, and hat. "I'll have to measure you and fix these clothes. We usually don't have dwarves running around the jungle. It will cost you 1 gold for everything and I'd have it done tomorrow."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Solis smiles at the woman fanning Jobul when he indicates her, "The company of someone so beautiful is rather enviable." he winks at the woman then looks back at Jobul, "Perhaps we can make a deal? The Order's resources are rather meager at the moment, our primary mission here is to purchase supplies they sorely need and find out why none of the expected resupply deliveries have arrived to Camp Vengeance recently. The guides we wish to hire are to replace men and women that have fallen in service to the people of Chult, perhaps you'd consider dropping the price to 450 gold? You'd be a hero yourself to these heroes of Chult."
Persuasion: 17
(Rolled with advantage due to Taggart's Help; yep, that wasn't a typo. Got a natty one with advantage)
Yellow considers for a moment and then smiles. "If you could point us in the right direction, I think we'd better speak with the Harbor Master directly. I do have my orders."

Jobul looks you over and a smile crosses his lips. It looks like the grin of a predator about to eat its lunch. "Did you say the guides have fallen in service of the people of chult? They actually have fallen in my service. They are my employees."
Jobul sighs as he rubs his chin. "Well since the order is in such dire straights and things are so desperate for them, I can part with these news guides for 750 gold pieces. If they are going to be dying I need to be compensated wouldn't you say?"
Yellow considers for a moment and then smiles. "If you could point us in the right direction, I think we'd better speak with the Harbor Master directly. I do have my orders."
The man smiles at Yellow. "Of course, I understand. You see the door you came in? You go outside it and he can be anywhere in the Harbor district. Good luck. If you get tired of searching for him you could always come back and leave a message and where to get a hold of you, or maybe he may be back. I never know with him. He is a very hands-on Harbor Master."
“Just making somebody sick isn’t what I need” Kvothe says. “How much for the Maidens Kiss?”
