As the group enters the forest up ahead in the direction Krav is yelling from you see a bright white light in a twenty foot radius centered on a statue.
Thor is leaning against a tree within the light unconscious and Krav is kneeling beside him. As you get closer you can hear a loud humming sound coming from the statue.
Up to the point of the explosion Greggor has been setting up the tent he bought , as well as assisting anyone else that needed help with theirs. His time with the Bloodaxe Mercenaries made him no stranger to setting up a military camp. When he hears the explosion, Greggor grabs his battleaxe and backpac, leaving his shield and javilins at the camp, and runs toward the noise with the rest of the party.
As Greggor reaches the clearing with the statue he becomes very edgy. Never having trusted magic, he proceeds with caution (perception 10) hesitant to enter the area filled with light.
As everyone gets to the outside of the glow but not really stepping inside of it you all hear a noise coming from just outside the other side of the light. It sounds like a deep croaking sound. You turn to look and you notice five green creatures with small daggers in their hands and 2 small spears on their backs staring at you. You blink a few times and could swear they look like a larger version of frogs you have back at home. They stand 1 and a 1/2 feet tall and they look mad. They must've heard the loud explosion and came to investigate.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Having not been here the last couple hours, I'm going to put things as I see them happening and you (DM) can decide how much actually happens before we have to roll for initiative. I didn't get to pursue the flower because we moved on, so even though I think maybe another set of events might have happened had I been active, I'm going to proceed as if Zachariah didn't jump into the river to retrieve the flower.
Previously ...
Zachariah, disappointed that they didn't catch any fish, but feeling good about learning a new skill, whistles a jaunty hymn tune as he puts his tackle away. As the others remark on how many bites they felt, the tall Aasimar finally takes the time to look at something on the surface of the river that kept catching his eye earlier. "Isn't that one of those flowers the dye maker wants?" he asks no one in particular.
"I was just looking at that as well," responds another of the party.
"We should get it," Zachariah says, taking a step toward the river.
"Hold on, there," Eku says, her hand suddenly on Zachariah's arm. "Let's wait until morning. We can paddle that direction and retrieve it as we're leaving. I'm not sure swimming would be a good idea this time of night."
Zachariah nods at the guide, making a mental note to remember the flower in the morning.
Later ...
After hearing the explosion, Zachariah stops chewing his mouthful of boar and listens. The others around him speculate trouble with Krav and Thor. Once the decision is made to investigate, Zachariah grabs up his shield and warhammer, following closely behind the leader of the party through the trees. Upon entering the clearing and seeing Krav and Thor unconscious on the ground, Zachariah hurries forward, ignoring the strange, glowing statue.
"That statue, it...exploded? Don't touch it!" Krav says. He stands, groaning slightly. "Thor needs help more than me!"
This is where timing is tricky. In one post, you say we got to the clearing, and then people are talking, and there's even an arcana check. That would indicate there's time for Zachariah to act. He's impulsive, so he wouldn't stop and think. He'd just go. However, you say he's 20 feet from Thor. While he can travel more than that distance in six seconds, I don't know if he'd have time because later you say when the party just reaches the edge of the glow, the Grungs appear. So, I don't know if there's time for the next part or not. You can decide.
Zachariah kneels down beside the prone Human and places an open palm to his chest, saying a quick prayer. A warmth emanates from his hand and Thor's eyes squint and then open. (Lay on Hands Pool gives Thor 1 hp.) "Your soul isn't yet ready to leave this world, my brother," Zachariah says, smiling.
As the sound of the Grungs, reaches his ears, Zachariah turns to see what is croaking behind him.

Maybe there's time to get to Thor, but I'll have to use the first round to revive him. Again, up to you!

No, you can do that. The others did the arcana check while you rushed in. The GRUNGS showed up about 2 rounds later. 12 The explosion happened at the end of your fishing during when everyone was doing there hour foraging
You hear Krav shouting not too far away.
"Come quickly! Thor's been hurt!"
And that's all I have to say about that.
Zee come on we've got to help them, they must be in trouble!

I'd like to make an Arcana check to figure out what the magic of the statue is and why it's glowing if that's allowed: 6
