You all convene back in Kundarak Guildhose after a few weeks of being able to pursue your own interests in addition to running some other jobs. Tandor is perusing  the job board and asks Milo about an angel feather.

"Blessed angel feather? Doubt there's many angels fallen on hard times and selling off feathers to make ends meet, that sounds more the sort of thing that an angel would have to give voluntarily. Can't say I know any angels going through a molt.", Milo chuckles before cutting it off as he realizes that might sound a bit blasphemous. "Might be able to work some of your church connections, call in some favors to get a line on an angel who'd be willing to bless one of their feathers?"

 Tandor nods his thanks.  He'll try that and also check the local shops.  He looks at the others.  "What do you think of this job?"

"would be interesting, if nothing else." Liber somewhat mutters, scribbling into his book again. "hmm, the evocational properties would make for interesting research, if nothing else...."

Mixtli is happy with any job.

((There was the proposed job from a merchant, Tandor is also interested in tracking down a lead on a blessed angel feather, I can add some others in the mix if neither of those has mass appeal.))

"That job does not pay enough for more than one person...as a group it would be a waste or time.  What else does he have?" he asks.

Tandor nods in agreement. "Yeah, that's what I'm thinking."

"Fair enough, I was considering telling him something of the sort. Oh, that reminds me, there was another one that came in second hand... one moment... didn't put it on the board since details were light, and not sure what the pay was... sounded more like a favor.... Ah, here it is! They mentioned Trencher by name, well, the woman who relayed the message called you Trench, but assuming that's who was meant."

He holds up a slip of paper that he jotted the message down on.

"I was told to come here and tell Trench that Sogo of the Wooded Circle is worried about something unnatural, and to stop by with his friends if he is able."

"I asked her for more details, if this was an actual job, or just a favor, but she didn't know. Said the druid fellow seemed cagey with details about saying more. You know anything more Trencher?"

"Let's see... the Zindatian artificer Inyz Haro seems to have passed on while in her lab, but her remains have not been able to be gathered for internment as they are guarded by one of her creations. She was a member of the smith's guild there, and the guild is seeking someone to breach the lab and deactivate the construct. Destroying is less preferred. Pay is 150 gold if the construct is not salvageable, 300 if it is only deactivated. Either payout would be redeemable for an additional 50% value in guild services, according to the request."

"Yeonido is dealing with what sounds like an otyugh in their sewers, from what I can piece together. No job request there yet, but an offer could be made and perhaps negotiated. Though the department most impacted is likely not authorized to pay out large sums. Nasty creatures those, if I'm right, I'm sure it'll get escalated eventually to someone more important."

Tandor smiles. "Now that's more like it." He looks over at Trencher.  "Do you want to check on that Sogo one?  No money, maybe but being owed a favor by a powerful druid could be good.  I'm more in favor of taking on that construct. Cold, hard gold is what we need."

Trencher’s eyes light up a bit when he hears the message from the Druids.  “Well, obviously I’m drawn to this one. They are asking for me by name, sort of.   During our down time I reached out to the Druids and I’d be willing to help them.  And I think even tho no money is stated, if we help them I’m sure there is to be some form of payment”

"Don't know as druids rub elbows with angels, but being on druid's good side might help with being able to get hold of other stuff you might need."

"true, yet, by the same token, the artificer job seems quite significant. a test of skill, might, and fair bit of luck, as well. that and the payout doesn't hurt."

"Indeed. If you're interested in both, I think the construct would be more time limited... they seem motivated to get it dealt with, I'm sure there are other folks interested in that coin too. Not making light of the druid's plight... oof, sorry for the rhyming, but they're asking for Trencher's help. Not looking elsewhere, so that means we're not likely to get scooped on the job, but also no one else is going to help them out with whatever the issue is."

Mixtli agrees and suggests 

"let's do the artificer job first than and move to the druids afterwards? Is that fine with you Trencher?" 

 Shrugging, Tandor says, "Sounds fine with me.  I just want to do something."

"Sounds good to me! Anything else you need before you take off? Oh! Almost forgot! Picked these up in case they're needed, but paid more than I was hoping I had to..."

Milo sets a case of a half dozen healing potions on the counter.

OOC: so sorry y'all! Computer up and broke down, but I'm being very careful with it now so hopefully not again. Mialee would have just kept a low profile and helped around the guildhall for her third activity anyway.

Emerging from the workshop where she's stayed for the past while, Mialee smiles at the others.

"The artificer one does sound fascinating. I like those two picks as well."

I haven't quite finished onboarding the assassin class onto DnD Beyond (I only have paper books) but will finish up soon.

(if there's a way to onload older books onto beyond, i'm for it. 4 books i got, but i can't use them.)

Liber quickly agrees to the schedule. "hmm, yesw, healing potions would be necessary in our line of work, wouldn't they?"

((There's no way to get digital 'credit' for physical books, it's another purchase. However, it is possible to buy single items for $1.99, if that's something that makes financial sense over needing to buy the whole book. Or join enough games with people who can share everything you need!))
