Nemi, feeling good about burying the fallen Dwarf, stands to survey the area and picks up the droning noise instantly. Bees! Odd to consider that she'd now be faced with fighting one at her size, she considers quickly anything she may know about them that could help in the battle. INT rolled with advantage favored enemy beasts per DM ruling 20 (unless this costs her an action - can't remember). Also, Initiative roll 11 She remains on the ground as a target to distract from the others relying heavily on her shell's armor.
As she prepares and considers, she calls out to the others. "Do you see that purple swirl? I don't believe that is normal."
Nemi, you know that bees are normally docile and only attack out of self-defense. This current behavior is irregular. You also know that bees (as opposed to some wasps, hornets, etc) can generally only use their stinger once, and doing so leads to their death, because the stinger is barbed and usually gets ripped off. You also suspect that their delicate wings may be a weak point to them.
Horkur is holding his action until a bee is close enough to attempt to jump onto. He will monitor for a moment and if no opportunity will climb down to join in the fray.
"Yes, these poor bees are corrupted by some sort of magic, I don't know exactly what. Perhaps Rezlin is trying to create some sort of cure with these ingredients?"
Algernon will then non-lethally strike the first bee to get close to him, trying to knock it out. While he waits he will try to recall any sort of potion that might deal with cleansing or corruption.
Now the bees are within 30' and will be upon you! It's everyone's turn again. You all get to decide what to do before the bees attack, as you heard them coming and are forewarned (all rolled higher initiative!)
Horkur, one of the bees is altering its course to target you!
Algernon, I see your move ready to go, we'll use those rolls! Also you're wracking your brains but nothing comes to mind yet...
Horkur pulls a handaxe from its sheath and tightly clenches the handle with his teeth in preparation to jump onto and grapple the bee once within range.

Nemi calls out to the others, "These bees usually only attack in self-defense so perceive danger from us or wouldn't risk death attacking with their stinger. For a weakness, their wings would be a good point to go for. I'll try to help knock one out."
She eyes her claws and sharp blades and resorts to using the flats of her blades to attack bluntly hoping to at least bat them away but ideally stun one down to the ground to make an easier target for grappling.
The bees are upon you! Elric's stone misses while the rest ready themselves for melee maneuvers. 4 of the bees dive bomb the group, aiming with their stingers, while the 5th bee circles above at a range of about 20' away. Each bee targets a different party member.
Bee 1 attacks Nemi but misses! (7 to hit) (may have rolled "self only" on accident, it's the default setting on the DND Beyond app for a DM as far as I can tell)
Bee 2 attacks Elric (23 to hit, 4 damage) and stabs him in the arm with its stinger! Lightning flashes of pain shoot up Elric's arm as he is envenomated! Elric, you take 4 piercing damage but need to make a constitution saving throw.
Bee 3 attacks Algernon but misses! (6 to hit)
Bee 4 attacks Horkur but misses! (13 to hit) (18 acrobatics)
Bee 5 circles above, not engaging in combat.
The party springs into action with the bees in range. Algernon attacks his bee for 7 damage, during which scuffle the bee's wings are damaged and it flops onto the ground, but rears up on it's legs, mandibles flaring as if to bite. Nemi juuust hits her bee with the flat of her blade for 2 damage, but it's enough to crumple the bee's wings and it, too, drops onto the ground, suddenly a lot less maneuverable. And Horkur leaps at his bee to grab it but it deftly zips just out of reach. Did I understand correctly that you leapt off of a flower stem? Or were you back on the ground?
Round 2
(21) Nemi - readies an attack
(19) Elric - another magic stone goes wide of its mark!
Horkur leaps from the flower, his red hair blowing in the wind as he flies at one of the bees.
Horkur's inspiration flowing through his veins:
(If allowed)Athletics Check: 24 (nat 20)
If no inspiration allowed:
Just as his fingers graze the fuzzy hide it jukes sideways leaving the gnome grasping at air as he speeds the 20' to the ground to land prone with an almost unrealistically loud thud.
The bee tries to zig zag just out of reach, but Horkur flies majestically through the air and grabs it! The buzzing of the wings sounds more frantic as the bee stutters and bucks in the air, unsure of how to react. It is gradually losing altitude as it struggles to stay aloft. It contorts and twists, trying to reach you with its stinger, but its an awkward angle, can't seem to manage it.
On his next turn, Algernon is going to attempt to pin the bee to the ground, and is also going to try and convince the bee to try to shake off the corruption affecting it.
”I don’t want to fight you, friend! You bees are a kind and hardworking folk! I know you shake this foul corruption off, you just need to try!”
Constitution save 19 (on game log, rolled with advantage because of Stout Resilience)
Elric screams as the stinger lances his arm. He drops the other two stone, readies his mace and prepares to attack any bee that comes within range. As he remembers the poor dwarf buried nearby, he resolves to not join her.
Horkur your glorious leap was in the last round, now that you’ve grabbed a bee you need to decide what to do next!
Nemi also has a turn.
I didn't think that through, and neither did Horkur!
"AAHHHH!" Horkur screams through the handle of his axe through critted teeth. He reaches up and grabs the handaxe and begins to cleave into the bee's hide between the wings.
Round 1
(19) Elric - his magic stone goes wide of its mark!
