Horkur spends a short time re-wrapping his wound and resting his ribs. His back and sides are quite sensitive, "Prolly a broken rib or two" he thinks to himself.
After a short while he rises, stretches hard to feel the sharp pain in his side's limit, gathers his previously thrown hand axe, and looks about toward the rest if the group. Seeing Elric looking a bit better as well, he states:
"So it looks like the bees headed south back toward that big tree, or maybe the house. Perhaps we should head back that way, likely find shelter around the tree tonight if we're lucky, and hurry.."
Elric shoulders his gear after the rest and nods at Horkur's suggestion. "Aye, south sounds good. Let's see if we can find what we need and get back to normal"
Looking South, through little gaps in the flower canopy, far away you see the towering oak tree. You know that at this size it will take a long time to get closer to it, hours even.
You head through the flower forest, the stone path to your right. Things are quiet and peaceful, multi-hued light filtering through the petals high above you. Soon enough the flowers thin out and are replaced with grass, now individual blades looming out of the ground like more of a bamboo forest with you able to wend your way between them. The oak tree looms ahead, impossibly enormous in the distance. Even here it offers shade from the sun which is now at its zenith, marking the noon hour. It may take you another two or three hours to hike to the tree through the grass. To the right of the oak tree is the cottage, now like an enormous cliff face in the distance. The back door to the kitchen is closed.
Let me know what your next move is, and let’s please have a group survival check.
Nemi wriggles her Tortle hands under the multi-colored lights from the canopy, "This is really quite beautiful and that tree's shade is a blessing." She reaches into her pack and pulls out a canteen and takes a drink then dribbles some into her hand for Cheetah. She looks around as she goes for natural edibles, otherwise pulls a ration from her pack to share with the cat. "I wonder if the bees were headed for the tree or the kitchen?" As a thought occurs to her, she scours the distance tree branches for a hive. "We should easily make the tree by late afternoon if all goes well."

You are particularly familiar with one type of natural environment and are adept at traveling and surviving in such regions. When you make an Intelligence or Wisdom check related to your favored terrain, your proficiency bonus is doubled if you are using a skill that you’re proficient in.
While traveling for an hour or more in your favored terrain, you gain the following benefits:
Difficult terrain doesn’t slow your group’s travel.
Your group can’t become lost except by magical means.
Even when you are engaged in another activity while traveling (such as foraging, navigating, or tracking), you remain alert to danger.
If you are traveling alone, you can move stealthily at a normal pace.
When you forage, you find twice as much food as you normally would.
While tracking other creatures, you also learn their exact number, their sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.

Nice rolls, good enough to know the outcome no matter what the other 2 roll.
(My IRL table didn't get this encounter because you need a 20 on the encounter table, which you got as I'm taking the highest survival check to that table.)
Ahead is a bit of a clearing in the grass, with a small white rock, about as large in size as Horkur. As you approach, you inexplicably hear bagpipe music drifting on the wind. It's a merry, happy tune, and you feel unalarmed. As you come abreast of the rock and start to pass it, the air above it shimmers with faint rainbow-colored sparkles, and there materializes a large person. He's a bit bigger than you, almost twice as tall, but he sits perched on the rock, and he's playing the bagpipes. He's got a curly red beard and mop of hair, flashing humorous green eyes, a fine dark green jacket and suit vest, and you notice the sparkle of gold at his cufflinks, vest buttons, shoe buckles, and gold chain going from his waistcoat into a pocket. A fine green cap lays on the ground at his feet, upside down. He grins and winks at you as he plays on.
Horkur, caught in the moment and half still woozy from the previous two encounters gets caught into the groove for a moment. He shakes it off and sees Elric deposit a gold coin into the hat, then follows suit.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nemi sees the others action and shrugs, the gold isn't doing her any favors in her pockets and smiles back at the bagpiper placing another gold into the hat standing closer and enjoying the music while waiting for a pause between tunes. As she waits she studies the individual looking for any signs of malicious intent or deception. insight18
The large man’s tune grows steadily merrier, with more pep, until he leaps off the rock, till playing, and begins to dance around and among you, still playing! He ends with a flourish and a fancy set of footwork, then gives a great bow. As his head gets low to the ground, near his cap, with one hand he flips up the cap onto his head, and then he stands. Your gold coins spill out of the cap, off his head, and luckily fall right into his coat pockets!
“Thank ye kindly, good sirs and good madam. Name’s Connor, and who might ye be? I dunna recall meetin’ ye previously.”
As you introduce yourselves, he studies you each in turn with keen eyes.
“And what business do ye have here in the garden? Begging’ ye pardon, but it do seem to me that ye aren’t normally of such a small size, eh?”
Nemi, you detect no malicious intent in this fine fellow. You have an overall good impression of him. But you see he is slightly wary of your group, and you also suspect he may have a mischievous streak in him too, not in a harmful way, but playfully. He strikes you as a fey, and you have heard, or perhaps know, that they tend to operate according to certain social contracts that would seem strange to those of this plane.
"Rezlin, the large fellow who lives over yonder.." He points to the house. "Asked us to gather some regents, however we are quite a bit smaller than he prescribed, and do to things we have witnessed today fear this is longer-lasting than he led us to be as well. Also, the bees around here seem off..."
Connor looks over at the cottage and shakes his head.
“Ach, t’is a strange old man, and not very kindly neither. You take me advice an’ stay away from him! Dunna try to enter his cottage, for he has a wee invisible monster who spies for ‘im, an’ ye surely be caught an’ killt, mark me words.”
“As fer the bees, I hadn’t noticed. They dunna listen to me playin’, so I dunna be payin’ much attention to them neither. We leaves each unto their own. But I reckon some o’ the other garden inhabitants may know more about it. The Moon Moth oughta know more, she bein’ a fellow insect an’ all. Ye might find her in the herb garden on a clear night.”
Nemi smiles and greets the Fellow, "Greetings Connor. We indeed have found ourselves in a mightily tricky predicament. A shrinking potion to serve a purpose has gone awry and we find ourselves less temporarily at this size. Have you seen others of our particular stature?"
She will continue to watch his mannerisms for any departure from friendly. (will roll insight or other as you need?)
“Others? Nay, I pass through here only occasionally. Speakin’ o’ which, I must be on me merry way soon. But ye were kind and thoughtful to share what ye have with me, and ye were polite company, so I can offer ye a favor in return. Pray tell, how can Connor be of service to ye?”
"I don't suppose you would have a way to make us big again?" Horkur asks half jokingly, yet with an obvious tone of hope. "My new friend, your music was the most pleasant part of our day, and to be honest likely our week. I had no intentions of soliciting from you, however.. I am still a bit sore from some of the less friendly critters we have met today. If you happen to have something to aid my injuries a bit I would be quite grateful! Otherwise, I thank you for brightening my mood today!"

"Yes, I agree. Was there anything we needed from the bees?" Nemi responds glancing back at the bee mess.
