The disorientation of teleporting has barely dissipated when the.wave of battle came crashing down. Dumb luck placed Sopas shield in line with the vines. A single vine managed to catch Screech just as she was exiting her roost on Clanks back. Sopa watches as the small bat struggles briefly then succumb to the barbs.
"Free yourselves." Sopa instructs his mechanical friends. "Keep them bunched up." He calls to the rest. He positions himself between Clank and Clunk. The two of them like towers on either side of his shield wall. A moments concentration and a spectral glowing image of the spell book emblazoned on the front of his shield appears above and to the right of Wright number two. Sopa takes a small ball of grease from his component pouch. He rubs it between two fingers before curling them into a fist. He whispers a phrase into the side of the fist then proceeds to flick his fingers in the direction he wishes the spell to be cast. A large pool of grease appears covering a 10 ft area centered between zombies 3 and 4.

Attack (Slam): 15 vs. AC 20 (Soairse); dealing 6 bludgeoning damage on a hit.
ZOMBIE 3 crawls out of the sticky goo. Large, thick strands of the magical mess hang from the monster, slowing its progress. Clear of the area of effect of Magnus' spell, the zombie struggles to its feet, screaming in...agony? Anger? Hunger? It too then breaks into a mad dash aimed at the center mass of the party.
Saoirse looks incredulously at the zombie who has just tried to strike her. Brushing off the stain the zombie claw had left on her armour, she brandishes the large blade in her hands and strikes at the zombie in return. As she does tries to lift Sopa's spirits having witnessed a number of the tortle's mechanical friends dissappear from the initial assault.
"Keep your chin up and don't be shell shocked Sopa! We will deal with these undead and avenge your friends!"
As she speaks a mote in the shape of bright orange marigold leaves her lips and flies over to Sopa and begins to orbit their head.

Soairse's first sword strike cleaves down upon the zombie, cutting it nearly in half from the right side of its neck down to the crown of its pelvis. The second chops the monster at the knees, sending it through a couple of mid-air flips before it splatters onto the floor at her feet.
ZOMBIE 2: Undead Fortitude: CON (Save): 22 vs. DC 15. On a success, the zombie drops to 1 hit point instead.
The undead denizen stirs for a moment, scratching out towards the elf, it then utters a single, barely audible or discernible word before it expires: "...run..."
ZOMBIE 6 stops clawing at the door and turns to see what has the others attention. Dried blood cakes its face and hands. This zombie is less excitable than the others, but nonetheless, it shambles towards the party stopping in front of Saj. It makes no move to attack the loxodon immediately, but rather stands there looking him up and down as if sizing up the druid, trying to decide what part of his flesh to sink its gore-streaked teeth into first.

As the horde of undead rushes towards the group, Drohjo's attention is entirely focused on the wights.
He suddenly springs into action, moving surprisingly quick for a creature of his size and frame. In seconds he positions himself to the back of the wight facing Yama, stabbing at the creature's unprotected side with his radiant spear held in both hands, before delivering two kicks to the zombie behind him, ending the combination with a powerful high round-house across the neck.

Despite his size and muscular bulk, the dragonborn moves with the surprising agility of a hummingbird in flight...the wight recoils in pain from the monk's radiant strike...it is clear that the creature is adversely affected by the light of Drohjo's magical weapon. His flurry of clawed feet sends the zombie flying head-over-heels into the wall behind it, ricocheting into the puddle of glue-like slime. Somehow, the undead creature sticks the landing and though it is barely held together by strands of rotting flesh and sinew, it ushers forth back out of the ooze, swinging a broken arm at Drohjo:
ZOMBIE 1 Attack (Slam): 14 vs. AC 17 (Drojho); dealing 3 bludgeoning damage on a hit.
WIGHT 2 The second wight pulls a longbow off its back as it walks confidently toward the northern wall while nocking an arrow. The other had seemed to fly into a rage, though this one appeared almost nonchalant about the party's sudden arrival...almost as if he thought their deaths were inevitable, so no need to get all spun up about it. He stopped about 5 feet from the northern wall and set his gaze on Magnus, and then spoke:
"I see the vines did not reach out for you," the wight said in a remarkably pleasant baritone that could have easily come from a skilled bard or university professor. "This place welcomes the undead. Those that comes here who aren't, usually end up that way eventually...like all my hungry friends here. They were once adventurers just like you. Now they are more like me...just like you are about to be."
The wight brought his bow up and carefully aimed at Magnus as he finished his last phrase. He then released the arrow and quickly loaded and fired another:
Multiattack (Longbow): 12 vs. AC 14 (Magnus); dealing 9 piercing damage on a hit. Multiattack (Longbow): 5 vs. AC 14 (Magnus); dealing 4 piercing damage on a hit.
ZOMBIE 7 The mindless corpse stumbles in Soairse’s direction, stopping in front of her on the husk of the zombie at her feet.
This zombie does not look to be in as bad a state of decay as the others…it’s clothes, while torn and tattered, are recognizable as that of a commoner belonging to a decently sized populace, perhaps a tradesman or tradesman’s apprentice but definitely not an adventurer.
