Sopa's warning to Drohjo came a little too late as his necrotic fire began to spread rapidly in all directions:
CREATE BONFIRE SHAMBLING MOUND - Dexterity (Save): 16 vs. DC 18 (Saj) taking 12 radiant damage on a failed save. DROHJO - Dexterity (Save): 12 vs. DC 18 (Saj) taking 3 radiant damage on a failed save.
Yama, not completely sure what is going on, rushes out of the room and to the intro of the hallway. Where she sees the fire and decides to just wait and watch.
Moving into the exit doorway of the room with Move action and bonus action move.
Moving into the room in front of the trunked ally, Magnus can't take a shot, and plays cautiously. He goes defensive, in case he has cause to protect himself.
(Moving 30 feet to just in front of Saj and taking the Dodge action. Hopefully next round I can move into line of sight)

The shambling mound reels and lurches as it is hit with another wave of Saj's necrotic fire. More of its "shrubbery" falls away...revealing more and more of the humanoid skeleton that had been entombed within its body. While not possessed of intelligence to any degree, the creature is sentient enough to know when to act in the interest of self-preservation, and its endless hunger was quickly overcome by another instinct...survival. With that goal having become its top priority, the monster begins to try and scramble away from the block of attackers facing it, though in order to do so, it had to wade though more flaming vegetation.
Action: Dash Movement: 20 feet south (after factoring in movement penalties for difficult terrain)
ATTACKS OF OPPORTUNITY SAOIRSE DROHJO CLUNK
CREATE BONFIRE START OF TURN - Dexterity (Save): 12 vs. DC 18 (Saj) taking 15 necrotic damage on a failed save. DURING MOVE - Dexterity (Save): 13 vs. DC 18 (Saj) taking 6 necrotic damage on a failed save.
Saj, lets out a rumbling incantation so low the rest of the party feels it, rather than hears it, and another bolt of light shoots from him at at the Mound.
Guiding Bolt at Shambling Mound: 17; 14 Radiant damage on hit, and the next attack roll on the Mound before the end of Saj's next turn has Advantage.
Clunk's powerful punch launches the plant monster into the air...just as Saj's bolt of holy magic blasts it into bits. Chunks of vegetation attached to softer, fleshy biomatter rain down, disintegrating into nothingness as the radiant energy consumes what is left.
Throught this entire spectacle, the twelve skeletons just continue to harvest the sickly white vegetables from the vines that have not yet started to wither under the effects of the necrotic bonfire spell.
"Quickly now! And mind the flames!" Declares Sopa as he dismisses the bonfire. He urges Clunk down the path staying to the eastern side as much as possible himself never more than 5 feet away.
(Dashing until they can get across the room. The manifested spellbook stays hovering just in front of Sopa shield as he and Clunk move)
"Hmmm. That is acceptable strategy," Drohjo agrees, quickly snatching the mysterious leather pouch from the skeletal hand of that Mound's last victim and following suit while making sure to keep a sharp eye on the surroundings and to stay ahead of the necrotic flames.

The spreading necrotic bonfire winks out of existence as Sopa releases his concentration on his spell. The 15-foot-square patch of white vines that had been affected by the spell is left bare, and thus allowing easy passage in this area, but the sound of cracking can be heard as the vines slowly begin to grow back.
Drohjo bends to collect the leather pouch, which is empty, however he notices a maker's mark embossed on the inside of the pouch flap featuring the initials "D.A.C."
As Sopa and Clunk begin to force their way down the narrow vine path, the tortle notices a tall, dense lump of vines and vegetation about 10 feet away from a set of double doors which he immediately recognizes as another shambling mound attempting to hide and wait for them to approach.
(OOC: I will assume that Sopa calls Clunk and the rest of the party to a halt as soon as he notices the presence of a second plant monster.)
"Halt." commands Sopa and Clunk lurches to a stop. "It would appear we have another sentient mound ahead. Shall I press on or tey to make it come to us?" he inquires of the others.
Having watched one plant creature get taken out, Yama watches they move to take another one out. She crouches low and sprints like the wind towards it. At the last moment she channeled magic through her blade and slashed at the creature and then jumped back.
Move and bonus action move to go 55 feet to the the mound
The two motes of force fly from Magnus' fingers towards the plant monster, bobbing and weaving around the vegetation and pillars (and Drohjo) until the both find their mark and slam into the creature. Bits of foliage and flesh are blasted away as the magical projectiles make contact, eliciting a shudder and a couple of high-pitched squeals from the mound. The warlock can tell that his offensive had some impact, but didn't seem to significantly injure or deter the creature.
SHAMBLING MOUND Seeking living flesh, the shambling mound ignores the towering behemoth that is Sopa's shield guardian and moves forward to attack the tortle instead. As it does so, Yamatsunami's [spel]booming blade[/spell] spell triggers, sending waves of lightning coursing through the creature. Surprisingly, instead of further injuring the monster, the lightning seems to heal it...
(OOC: shambling mound gains 6 HP.)
Vine tentacles shoot out at Sopa attempting to first constrain and then reel the wizard towards the creature's mouth:
Multi-attack (Slam): 14 vs. AC 19 (Sopa) or AC 21 (if shield guardian's reaction is used); dealing Unable to parse dice roll. bludgeoning damage on a hit. Multi-attack (Slam): 25 vs. AC 19 (Sopa); dealing 18 bludgeoning damage on a hit.
(OOC: If both attacks hit a Medium or smaller target, the target is grappled (DC 14 to escape), and the shambling mound uses its Engulf ability on it.)

Moving into the room fully, Magnus takes a survey of the room.
"A sentient plant? Honestly, it's as if the gods aren't even trying anymore."
He lines up a shot and fires two Eldritch blast bolts at the creature.
