Zaius attempts to sweep the leg, but with some surprisingly nimble footwork for such a beefy creature, the hit narrowly fails to connect.
Roy is thrown back into the mast as a result of the explosion looking very worse for wear. Grimacing in pain Roy presses on with his ranged attacks against Geoffrey.

Looking up, you see the dragonfly ship has swung around behind the spire of the academy; it looks like it dropped another group off and is pulling away. It has barely done so when you hear an explosion wrack the academy, coming from somewhere near the cadet quarters.
(How many people are around on the dock? Do we have a spell jammer with us as a part of the maint crew? Is this ship in flyable condition? The goal is to give chase and if engaging does not seem wise then just follow)
Zaius looks over toward the sound of the explosion and curses, then turns back to look up at the fleeing Damselfly ship. “We will not make it to the crew quarters in time and others will be closer to help them. We need to follow that ship and make sure it doesn’t get away. No one else knows what is going on.” He looks to the others “Can we get the Foundling in the air?”
(agree that we should give chase - not sure if anyone has a way to leave a message behind)
