Zaius leaps from the rigging and lands near one of the spreading blazes. He moves to grab a bucket of water, then hesitates as he hears Roy’s orders before he ignores the bucket and grabs a blanket to smother the fire. He moves from hot spot to hot spot along the deck, trying to put out the flames before they spread. Dex: 9.

Despite Gloix's best efforts to avoid the eels, several fires break out on the deck and the school is well behind you by the time you manage to extinguish the flames, leaving some minor damage to the hull.
The fire finally out, you accelerate to spelljamming speed once again, and in another couple of minutes you reach your destination: the abandoned Flying Fish class vessel, in a high, elliptical orbit above Coliar. However, you immediately spot the next problem: the derelict is passing right through the middle of a cluster of asteroids. It will take some careful maneuvering to fly your Hammerhead close enough to get a good look.
[Another group check, representing carefully dodging asteroids, looking out for and fending off smaller rocks that could hit the ship, and so on. This is the same skill choices as last time (I feel like the writers could maybe have varied these a little more, but I guess they didn't want to force anyone to be rolling their dump stat?)]
Xavier, having been a very big help putting out the fire definitely, was feeling pretty useless. So as he saw the asteroids, he jumped at the chance to actually do something. He grabbed the quarterstaff off his back, and began trying to redirect asteroids away from the ship, using his staff to bat them away.

"Back to your watch stations! Roy forward, Xavier aft, Zaius up in the rigging! Erma why don't you take port watch and I'll take starboard. Don't forget to look down! Call out any approaching rocks so Gloix can try to avoid them and maybe we can push them away before they damage us."
Rel will grab a pole or boathook and stand at the starboard rail, looking to push away any space debris that gets too close to the ship.
Zaius jumps at Rel’s instructions and clambers back up the rigging. He keeps a lookout for incoming objects, calling out steering instructions to Gloix down in the helm and warning the others of rocks heading into their areas. Acrobatics: 19.
