Erma's spell seizes the heart of one of the enemy ballista crew in her chest; her body goes limp, her corpse hanging in the ropes tying her to the siege weapon.
Xavier dashes to the bow of your ship, and nimbly swings through the gash in the decking of the enemy ship, into its topsy-turvy bridge. In the same fluid motion hw brings his staff down on the crewmate there, staving (quite literally) his head in with a single blow.
Zaius leaps from the rigging, tucking into an aerial roll in the weird space where the gravity planes merge together, then straightens out, spreading his arms and legs to catch the astral breeze and glide to the rigging next to the enemy Captain. Landing on the balls of his feet, he brings a wicked looking scimitar around on a wide swing, stopping against the Captain’s neck. He snarls, fangs bared “Enough blood has been spilled today. Surrender your ship and tell your crew to throw down their weapons and you may yet live!”
Seeing that the first ballista is on fire Roy directs his attention to the second one.
[The second ballista is gone, it got taken out by a ruddy great boat plowing into it. I'll let you redirect the attack to the first ballista again, or two any of the crew on deck? On the other hand, thank you for reminding me... the first ballista took 5 fire damage at the start of their turn]
"My crew would gut me themselves if I gave such an order. Githyanki never give up! Never surrender!" [Your roll still got your scimitar in past the captain's defenses, so go ahead and make a damage roll.]

Dang 18 intimidation didn't work? Homies got balls for days
[Roy will go for anything flammable on their deck, pile of rags, coil of rope, etc.... aiming to create more chaos and divide their attention from attacking our ship]
[For the purposes of not having to create a whole new object to track, I'll say you hit the mangonel, which is all wood and rope and probably some oil, maybe also has some flammable ammunition nearby...]
You're trying to intimidate a githyanki in an armed conflict.. it's like attempting to convince the sun not to rise or rain not to fall.
[If you'd been trying to convince them to retreat, and they still had a ship to retreat on, I might have given it. But they're not going to let themselves be captured.]
[We're at the top of the next round; I don't think there's separate Maneuvering and Attack phases anymore, so it's just all of them then all of you. First off I'm going to do a quick summary (for my own purposes if noone else's) of which enemies are still alive and where they are:
Captain: in the rigging, minor injury Spelljammer: in the bridge wreckage, badly injured Crew 2: forward ballista, badly injured Crew 4: last seen at the aft ballista, badly injured Crew 6: last seen at the aft ballista, full hp Crew 7: forward ballista, uninjured Crew 11: last seen in galley, uninjured
Squid hull: damaged Forward ballista: badly damaged, on fire, way up the vertical deck Aft ballista: destroyed Mongonel: minor damage, on fire, half way up the vertical deck
I don't think I'm going to try to make a battle map work for this, too many dimensions involved, we'll just theatre-of-the-mind it]

The githyanki captain snarls and retaliates against Zaius. [Multiattack: Scimitar: 9 for 3 slashing damage Dagger: 18 for 5 piercing damage]
The spelljammer continues to hack at the decking to free the ship. [Scimitar: 7 for 6]
The two crew hanging from the forward ballista manage to put of the fire and swing it down toward the bow of the Foundling.
The two survivors of the aft ballista clamber over the side of the ship onto the deck. One carries a crossbow and fires a shot at Roy, the other swings a scimitar at Erma. [Light crossbow vs Roy: 4 for 5 piercing damage Scimitar vs Erma: 16 for 4 slashing damage]
The final githyanki bursts down through the door of the bridge, immediately swinging at Xavier. [Scimitar vs Xavier: 22 for 5 slashing damage]
[Oh, and the ballista took 5 fire damage before they managed to put that fire out, and the mangonel takes 5 fire damage, and the fire spreads if I roll a nat 1 on: 7]

(OOC So two of the enemy are on board the Foundling, the rest remain on the squid ship? If Rel is midships on the Foundling, what would be his approximate range to the enemy captain?)
"Mr. Zaius, have your crew finish off that ballista!"
(If enemy captain within 60 feet:)
Rel will play a jarring minor chord on his pan flute, that only the gith captain can hear. ( cast dissonant whispers DC 15 WIS save, on fail take 14psychicdamage and must use reaction to flee as far as possible from Rel, half damage on success, no fleeing)
(If enemy captain out of range:)
Rel will play a lullaby directed at the two enemy crew that have boarded the Foundling. ( cast sleep for 25 hp of creatures, starting with the lowest hp creature, no save.)

Zaius spins away and avoids injury as the Githyanki Captain slashes back with their own sword, but opens himself up to a deep cut from an unseen dagger. Grimacing in pain, he doubles his return attack against the enemy Captain with ferocious energy.

Expecting a big counterattack from the crew, Xavier was pleasantly surprised to only have one attacker, which he quickly dodged. He retaliated with a whirring strike to the crew members head, then a hard knee to the stomach.

[Yep, two on your deck. Four still on their ship (two hanging from their barely-intact ballista, two in what was their bridge), and the Captain is in the tangle of rigging above you. The rest are dead (well, except for one which is alive but floating off into space...). The captain is probably 20' up so in range, but with your permission I'll resolve the other's actions first as I think it works out tactically better for you that way]
Zaius retaliates with his own scimitar, slashing once across the githyanki captains chest, then plunging the weapon deep into her belly. The captain slides slowly off the blade, and falls from the rigging, dead.
Roy misses with his crossbow, and Erma hits with her warhammer for only minor damage, but then suddenly both their targets go limp and slump to the deck, asleep.
Your simulated shipmates, still operating the ballista, fire a bolt at the enemy's ballista, trying to put it out of action before the remaining githyanki can get another shot off. [Ballista vs ballista: 24 for 16 piercing damage]
Meanwhile, in the wreckage of the squid ship, Xavier swings and misses with his quarterstaff, but presses his advantage with a fist to the githyakni's solar plexus, sending the man staggering back gasping for breath.
[Gloix, any action from you? You could leave the ships drifting and join the others for the fight on deck, for example.]
Rel moves to the slumbering gith, and tries to drag them without waking them over to the side rail. "Over the side with 'em. They're just simulations anyways."
