Icarus recognizes that the shadows are some kind of undead creature, and could surmise that as incorporeal creatures of death and darkness, they are likely immune to necrotic and poison damage and resistant to physical and elemental damage, but vulnerable to radiant. From the way they chose to attack while the deck was shaded, you would guess that they don't like to be in sunlight, and judging by the state of the dead crewmate's body, it looks like they have some sort of nasty drain attack.
[Welcome back! Looks like Zoide isn't back yet, so to keep us moving I suggest we default to neutral orders for this round - stay at the 80' range, have Princess keeping the deck in sunlight, have the crew switch to firing on the githyanki with the mangonel now that it's in range as well as dealing with the shadows.]
[Squid ship Attack phase:]
While pulling away, the githyanki still fire their mangonel at the you. [Mangonel vs Foundling: Attack: 9 Damage: 32]
[Foundling attack phase: Da'Kal, Eris, Icarus are up!]
(sorry for not posting right away I was with family during the holidays and needed time to unwind, I'll post for sure when my turn comes around again.)
[Oh no worries at all, everyone deserves a new year break!]

"Ugh... The cannon..." Eris groans as she snaps back to her senses before entering rage state yet towards her simulation crew again after being shot. "YOU! WHOEVER IS STILL ALIVE! I DON'T CARE IF YOU WANT TO RETREAT OR NOT BUT... AIM AT THE GITH AND.. WHATEVER THOSE THINGS ARE! NO EXCUSES!" She then takes a moment to calm down and reload her pistol before firing it. Watch me, Kio! She thinks as a bullet flies into the air at the Githyanki captain.

Seria (Female Dragon-In-Disguise Sorcerer, Draconic Bloodline)
Da'Kal's javelin takes a chip out of the frame of the enemy mangonel, while Eris's pistol takes out the githyanki that seemed to be most in charge. [Is 2d8 the correct damage for a pistol? I see Pistol listed as 1d20... edit: ah, I think I see the problem: your character sheet has Pistol, Automatic, which is the "modern firearms" version, instead of the setting-appropriate Pistol-comma-nothing version]
Icarus touches the shadow with a burst of electrical light, seeming to evaporate some of its "body".

[Rest of crew]
The crew fires the mangonel against the Squid ship, while the remaining guard slashes at the first shadow. [Mangonel vs Squid: 7 for 28 bludgeoning damage Scimitar vs shadow 1: 6 for 5 slashing damage]
[Shadow's turn]
One shadow retaliates against Icarus, while the second moves toward Da'Kal and attacks. [Strength Drain vs Icarus: 13 for 11 necrotic damage, and your Strength score is reduced by 3 Strength Drain vs Da'Kal: 10 for 10 necrotic damage, and your Strength score is reduced by 4]
[Squid ship Maneuvering phase:]
The githyanki continue to pull back, increasing the range to 110'.
[Foundling Maneuvering phase: Zoide is up for orders, then Princess. (Reminder that Zoide can also take normal actions as well as giving general orders, if you have some Cleric-y abilities that might be good against undead.)]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"We're almost there! Autoguy! Seems like those dark silhouettes are weak to light! Keep launching them! Elf driver maintain your position as the ship's head I know you can! Everyone else's names I don't know, hold your ground and finish them off! It's do or die!" Eris yells to the entire team (That's right, not the simulation crew but the team that she's been with since the start of the mission) before she furiously fires a trick shot at the enemy ship's hull.
[There's one shadow left, which you and a crewmate are fighting on the main deck, outside the doors to the chart room/spelljammer's quarters/helm; including your attack just now, it seems maybe half of its original size. You can see five githyanki on their decks, operating their mangonel, and they presumably also have at least their spelljammer and maybe an unknown number of guards belowdecks.]
Icarus evaporates another wisp of shadow, while Eris's pistol drills a neat bullet hole in the hull of the Squid.
[Da'Kal is up]

(Alright I'm back. Sorry the area I moved to has no signal but yeah I'm fine with the CRIT shot on the Gith that shot Eris.)

Princess will do her best to angle to ship into the sunlight, while also keeping up with the enemy ship moving it back to 80'. "Oi Oi Cap!"
[Doesn't guiding bolt need an attack roll? For expediency I'll roll that here: 14]
A bright flash of radiant energy steaks from Zoide's hands and slams into the shadow attacking Da'Kal, and it evaporates into nothingness!
