(Zoide helping wouldn’t give us advantage anyway, we already lost our stealth advantage from invisibility, and multiple advantages don’t stack, it’s all just cancelled and becomes a normal roll.)
After picking up on the many movements of the mysterious floating figures on her own accord and deducing that they might need some passive reasoning, Eris wanted to suggest to the group that whatever conflict they're in should be resolved verbally and peacefully. However, since she was outnumbered this time, she backs off 5ft away from the group in case a fight breaks out because of one mistake, not even taking the chance to pull out any of her weapons..

[Ooo unfortunate. But for the sheer audacity of the plan, I'm going to say both Icarus and Princess gain inspiration.]
As you approach the pair, you discover that beholders really do smell awful, and can't help making a gagging sound. One of the creatures spins around, eyestalks scanning madly, and an alien voice in your head says. "What was that? Someone is here! Show yourself!"
The second makes shushing motions with its eyestalks, the two appear to confer for a moment, and then a similar yet different telepathic voice says, "Mysterious outsiders! We ask your assistance. I am Spectator Greelob. This is Spectator Orlob. Each of us claims the right to guard this strange meteorite, but only one of us may do so."
The first adds, "Yes! Yes, we call upon you to mediate our dispute at once!"
"I was right! All they were doing was arguing over the stone, not just trying to pick a fight! It's time we settle this peacefully I say!" Eris whispers now the she knows that it's sort of a diplomatic scenario, before she... boldly whips out of her hiding spot and reveals herself to the beholders, now that she knows that the crew needs to assist them.
"Of course. We'll do our best to handle your matters as best as we can for you!" Eris confidently asserts as she bows slightly though she maintains her distance still in case they, plus the ogre decide to act. "May I ask first though: What compelled you both to decide to guard this... stone of yours, hmm? Is it the rocky texture that gives out its own unique outlines? Or did it perhaps convince you that it possesses anything of value, either by it glamour or rather purr-fect ? I'd like to know first before I could advise you with a helpful cause. And um, as for the giant behind you... uh..." Her cat ears twitch slightly before she resumes. "Who's lair is this actually?"

"The ogre there uses this cavern as its lair. Ogres are not nearly as intelligent as we beholderkin," Orlob scoffs, "but they do have an eye for valuable metals and ores." From the tone of his mental voice, you gather that this ocular expression is what passes for the height of wit among beholders.
"And this is certainly no ordinary rock!" Greelob continues. "See the blue sheen when the light strikes the blackened surface? This is clearly a great treasure from the stars, and guarding treasures is what we spectators are created to do."
"So if I'm correct, this cave belongs to that giant guy behind you two? If that's the case doesn't that also mean that wasn't the one to find that stone first?"Eris continues. "Did he perhaps ask any of you to guard it for him? Even if you floaty things have a keen eye for shiny stones like these it wouldn't make sense for you two to argue on who gets to watch over it without his permission. In a way the... hmm... the two of you, plus me are trespassing into his territory. As I had learnt from my fellow Catians before me, unless if you two were given order from the big guy himself, he need to be the one to watch over his... treasure. He needs to be responsible for what he has gathered for himself."
(I presume that would need some ability check that I don't know of some sort?)
[Huh, the notifications page decided to just… not tell me about that last post. Sorry about that!]
"No one asks us to guard! It is simply what we do," Orlob sounds offended.
"But it is true that the ogre found the meteorite. Perhaps it is his responsibility, after all," replies Greelob thoughtfully.
Orlob appears to consider this, then bobs up and down gently. "Yes, that is fair," he agrees. Without another word, the pair turn and leave down different passages leading deeper into the mountain; the gazers follow along like puppies. The ogre waves a lazy goodbye to all of them, then settles back against the ledge, and before long starts to snore.
Princes not letting a good opportunity pass by walks up and pops the meteorite into the bag of holding and drops her invisibility. Signals the others it’s time to go quietly and heads for the cave entrance.
"Sigh... another day of Catian dictatorship... Let's get out of here. This place is giving me the shivers." Eris immeidately says as she prepares to bolt out of the cave with everyone else.

With the ogre snoring loudly away, you have no trouble manhandling the meteorite into the bag of holding. Once back aboard your vessel, you hand over the bag of holding to Boatswain Tarto as Saerthe slips past the other tyrant ships on patrol and sets course for Toril. "Now comes the easy part," Tarto says, lighting a fresh cigar.
[Well done finding the no-combat path through that encounter. And after I prepped a whole battlemap and everything :/ ;p]

Can we get advantage for Ziode’ help?
D&D since 1984
[I'm not quite clear on what Zoide is doing to plausibly help with the stealth roll, which is the only one you don't already have advantage on?]
