Aino takes the 100gp meal (gold subtracted from char sheet, will customize the temp proficiency boost soon).

She is honored and excited to join Casey on stage.  "I can sing a little, so maybe I can be your backup dancer and sing harmony on the chorus?"

(Moments like this, it's easy to see just how young Aino is, barely an adult, which for a half-elf is about 28.)

"Should we both use Enhance Ability as we did against the Sumos?  Eagle's Splendor for and maybe me, or I could do Cat's Grace..."

She will start her bladesong when it is time to perform.

Storm looks awkwardly at the group, "I would like to help, but I am not really a performer.  Besides breathing fire and being able to lift you up I am not sure what else I could do."

Casey says “Methinks Aino and I got it.  we can do wit a bit o’ magic help I think!”  Before their performance, she casts enhance ability (eagles splendor) using a 3rd level slot, targeting both her and Aino, and puts on sparkling silk shirt and breeches over her new elven chain.

Running through the song quickly with Aino they coordinate on a routine, and then Casey performs, using her magic Bandore, enhancing the performance with sparks, small illusions, and bursts of color and smells from prestidigitation s and musical accompaniment from minor illusion 

She gives a little introduction to the group and their accomplishments before she starts singing, trying to get more fans (persuasion check)- then plays “The Ballad of the Last Copper” - a pirate- style song about the group and their battles thus far, while she and Aino dance with all the magical enhancements they can muster…

she concludes her performance with her trademark bow and removing her hat with a  flourish, and says “ye can bet yer last copper on The Last Copper!” 

With a 28 it seems like the whole festival stops to enjoy your show. It's a huge success earning your slot in the battle of the bands. To be conducted at a later time.

Kileprat for your Arm Wrestling. Gi e me 3 strength checks assuming you rage so don't for6to take that into account. You can also attempt to intimidate your opponents. I'll describe the outcome. 

Fired up after backing up Casey, Aino shoulder-bumps Kileprat for good luck going into her arm wrestling competition.  The vast difference in body mass sends the half-elf sprawling in the dirt, but with a big grin on her face.  "You got this, big mama!"

But it's more a cover for Aino casting and concentrating Enhance Ability (Bull's Strength) on the golitath (spell has a range of touch).

Advantage on STR (including Athletics) checks.  Which Kileprat could get by raging, but would lose rage quick as she is not attacking or taking damage?

Eh i was going to look past that detail for this case. I pictured Kileprat raging before the round starts but your method is more economical/  Technically correct which is the best kind of correct. #Futurama

casey also gives Kileprat a few words of encouragement “Ye gots this- we’re all rootin fer ya!”

Can a barbarian hurt themselves to keep rage going? You see this in films a lot (banging their chests, even cutting themselves).

(OOC:  Ha - fair enough.  I know I am often guilty of being overly focused on what is technically correct.  My apologies.

Totally up to you guys - if it's cooler for Kileprat to use rage instead, let's do that and I can edit my post.  I guess the arm wrestle could be considered making an attack like a grapple can be to extend rage.  Aino just wanted to make sure Kileprat has advantage one way or another.)

Aino would try to get any clue she can as to the next challenge, possibly to choose which spells to prepare from her book.

“Argh, makes me think o’ undead things. . I never tol ye about the ship crewed with skeletons I fought once.   Problem wit the undead ones is me charms and tricks might not be workin as well.  But we’ve faced challenges afore!”   Casey says
