OOC: It actually can be a tough decision between Silvery Barbs, Shield and maybe Absorb Elements or Counterspell, depending on the fight and the initiative order - mainly because you only get one reaction between turns. So let's say there are a ton of attacks coming your way.
The thing with Silvery Barbs is that when you use up your reaction for it, it only counts for that one attack, whereas for Shield, it raises your AC by 5 until your next turn. So let's say you have a bunch of attacks coming your way before your turn and the first one crits you. What do you do? You could cast Silvery Barbs to force a re-roll, but then you cannot cast it or Shield for all the other attacks, so maybe then all those other attacks hit you which might have missed with Shield. And that's assuming a dragon isn't going to breathe on you or the enemy mage isn't going to Fireball you and you need your reaction for Absorb Elements as a reaction. Or Counterspell for the mage. It's much easier when there is only one enemy spot on the initiative order because then, as long as you only get hit once, the decision is easy on how to use the reaction. Regardless, these are all great spells of course.
Casey looks at Kileprat and says “you be needin some healin!” she then tries to finish off the bone T-Rex with eldritch blasts.
She BA casts healing word on Kileprat for 7 HP (sorry rolled bad!) and then she shoots the injured T. rex for 13 to hit for 10 damage, and 14 to hit for 4 damage. no love from the Dice roller this round!
Aino's Turn: (her reaction resets - available for later). "Good old Death is mumbling something about us falling asleep. Watch out for the gray aura. Though elves and half-elves can't be put to sleep by magic so we'll see." (She stays within 10' of Storm either way).
Thumbtack flies by to help against T Rex 1. Aino shakes her head at the wounded undead dinosaur, still standing somehow. "May you and all your kind be eradicated by a comet falling from the heavens. After this, I mean."
Note that Green Flame Blade does 1d8 fire damage to the primary target and also 1d8+5 fire damage arcing to an adjacent enemy.
Attack 1: targeting T. Rex 1 (advantage from help from Thumbtack, 3 d20s due to Elven Accuracy) To Hit: 23 + 1 from Bless = 24 Rapier, +1: 10magical piercing damage Spirit Shroud: 7radiant damage Green Flame Blade to primary target: 6fire damage Green Flame Bladeto adjacent enemy (T. Rex 2): 1d8+5 = 8fire damage Total damage to T. Rex 1: 23 (magical piercing, radiant and fire). Total damage to T. Rex 2 if it is within 5': 8 (fire arcs to it, no saving throw allowed). Potential total from first attack: 31 (or just 23 if T. Rex 2 is not within 5').
Attack 2: targeting T. Rex 2 (or T. Rex 1 if it is still alive) (straight roll) To Hit: 22 + 2 from Bless = 24 Rapier, +1: 10magical piercing damage Spirit Shroud: 7 radiant damage Total from second attack (targeting T. Rex 2, unless T. Rex 1 is still alive in which case targeting T. Rex 1): 17 (magical piercing and radiant).
Overall total from both attacks: either 48 total damage between the two T. Rexes, or 40 total if no fire arcing from Green Flame Blade.
Spirit Shroud secondary effects: 1. Any enemy hit by Aino's attacks while concentrating on Spirit Shroud cannot regain hit points 2. Enemies within 10' of her have their speed reduced by 10'
“Give it up, Death! We’re not ready fer ye yet!” Casey Casey calls out. The pain from her injuries focusing her fear, She starts singing a song, low at first, and gradually building, trying to get the crowd revved as she goes..

But I spent so many fights thinking how the livin dead are wrong And I grew strong And I learned how to get along Now the dead are back From another place In this arena here with that rotting look on their face I should have brought some holy water, I should have talked to a priest If I'd known for just one second they’d be back to bother me

(Not that I'm complaining but did we skip T. Rex 2's latest turn? I feel like Aino is going again without T. Rex 2 having gone in the between...)
Aino rocks out like a fangirl to Casey's performance, her bladesong harmonizing on the "we will survive" part of the chorus.
Aino's Turn: Reaction resets. Thumbtack flies by to help against T Rex 2. Aino stays within 10' of Storm.
She attacks T. Rex 2 with her Rapier, +1 and Spirit Shroud and Booming Blade with advantage from her owl's help. Booming Blade does 1d8 thunder damage immediately and also 2d8 thunder damage if the target moves before Aino's next turn.
Attack 1: targeting T. Rex 2 (advantage from help from Thumbtack, 3 d20s due to Elven Accuracy) To Hit: 27 + 4 from Bless = 31 Rapier, +1: 12magical piercing damage Spirit Shroud: 8radiant damage Booming Blade immediate effect: 2thunder damage Booming Blade additional secondary damage if T. Rex 2 moves voluntarily: 8thunder damage Total damage to T. Rex 1 from first attack: 22 (magical piercing, radiant and thunder) or 30 if T. Rex 2 moves voluntarily.
Attack 2: targeting T. Rex 2 (straight roll) To Hit: 25 + 3 from Bless = 28 Rapier, +1: 14magical piercing damage Spirit Shroud: 7 radiant damage Total damage to T. Rex 2 from second attack: 21 (magical piercing and radiant).
Overall total from both attacks: either 43 total damage to T. Rex 2, or 51 total if T. Rex 2 moves voluntarily.

By the way, I just remembered Aino had cast Comprehend Languages as a ritual before the fight.
Any chance she can understand what Death is chanting as they call forth the gray aura surrounding them?

Will wait to post for Aino just in case Casey's Eldritch Blast damage put down T Rex 1.
Also @Casey - did those to hit rolls include the 1d4s from Storm's Bless?

Both hit. T Rex 1 still alive barely
Oh no they didn’t, but looks like didn’t matter.

Note that Green Flame Blade does 1d8 fire damage to the primary target and also 1d8+5 fire damage arcing to an adjacent enemy.

You kill The Bone Rex (T Rex 1) and hit T Rex 2.
Death is up. Death will point at Storm. "Come to meeeee"
Death cast command approach.
Make a Wisdom save. DC15 on a fail you walk to death
Kileprats turn.
When Casey touches Kileprat, she feels some renewed energy. "Thank you my friend, maybe I did need that." (Added the hp in game log)
She watches the first dino burn up and turns her attention to the second one. "Come here doggy, I got a bone for ya."
To hit1: 29 Damage: 15
To hit2: 29 Damage: 17
Frenzy hit: 18 Damage:17
Hit you get 3 real solid hits on the T Rex. It let's out a monsters roar.
Storm is up
Wisdom Save: NAT 20! For 29 total
Storm will look to Death "You hold no sway over me undead filth!" He then rushes over to help Kileprat with the other Zrex.
Attack 1 w/ Smite: 28 Damage: 8 + 14 Radiant
Attack 2: 13 Damage: 7
With a NAT 20 Death will have no sawy over you this fight. (You can't be affected by any of his auras)
Both attacks hit. This Zrex seems weaker then the first it's already looking more worst for wear.
TOP of the order. Casey and Aino
casey BA shifts her spiritual weapon to the Trex, and then attacks with eldritch blasts:
EB; 18, 17 to hit (plus bless but not needed:
sw 13 plus 3to hit
6 EB damage plus 11 spiritual weapon damage
total 17 damage. (Casey’s feeling a little overmatched by the crew!)

She only did one that mattered, but it was a good one.

I guess I forgot to post it. Thanks
Casey with an 18 you do real good despite the situation. You hear death humming along a little
Bite attack is a Nat 20.... that's bad.
Tail attack miss.
The T Rex bites Storm for 103 damage (double max) storm is grappled if he is still down by the T Rex next turn he will be swallowed = death.
Aino you reck this t Rex. It's just barley being held together.
