"There!" Gubo points in the direction of the woman, pulling his rapier out and rushing to her headfirst. He trusts that his companions will follow. He comes to a screeching halt in front of her, turning tail and matching her pace as she runs away from the skeleton. "Howdy, ma'am. You see that inn? You'll be safe in there. Find a place to hide, lock the doors, grab something to use as a weapon. Anything. Encourage others to do the same." He nods to her, ducking down and launching himself in the direction of the skeleton again.
With his rapier at his side, he jumps up and slashes the skeleton across the chest.

Ahorangi follows Gubo's point and quickly follows. She tries to look a little less scary to the woman as she races past but her imagined 'friendly smile' probably looks more like a manic grin. Coming upon the skeleton, she swings Kowhatu underhanded attempting to strike the foe on the chin and separate the skull from the vertebrae.
The strike from Gubo's rapier strikes across the pirate skeleton's rib cage. He fractures a rib and it breaks off. Ahorangi is to follow Gubo's attack with her own. Her attack doesn't quite detach the skeleton's skull from it's spine. However, she does smash the skeleton's jaw. The blow brakes the lower jaw in half, and the left side flies off into the air.
Titus strikes from afar with a spell. A beam of crackling energy shoots from his direction towards the skeleton. The blast of energy causes the skeleton to collapse just in front of Gubo and Ahorangi.

Catching up to the others as the skeleton crumples Laszlo says, "nice shot itchy!"
"Let's keep going yeah?" he says while already moving in the direction of the docks. As they run he asks the others, "Don't get me wrong, fighting skeletons in the streets all night long while saving townspeople is pretty damn heroic but does anybody know exactly what we're up against here? It seems like we're headed towards something and when gambling with our lives I prefer the dice be weighted in our favor before the roll."
Ahorangi pays no mind to Itchy who now seems to be talking to himself, and suddenly without a stutter. She leans on Kowhatu with a grin and looks at Laszlo.
"Nope, no idea what we are getting into. But here's what I figure: Most of that ship's crew is out looting the town right now. It could be vulnerable." She turns to look at the ghostly ship. "And I don't know...there's something about it..."
Coming back to the present, she grins again and starts loping off towards the ship once more. She won't get too close however, trying to keep to the shadows and keeping an eye out for more skellies on the way.
With a shrug Laszlo says, "fair enough, sounds reasonable." He then follows after glancing down alleyways as they run and trying to get an idea of just how bad the state of the town is right now.
Gubo, sliding his rapier back in its scabbard, nods solemnly. "I've heard about the ship before, oh yes, surprised it hasn't rang a bell yet, Captain. Y'all, that is..." he pauses for dramatic effect, matching Laszlo's pace as they look for more trouble. "The Flensed Servant." The words come out as an ominous growl. "Most fearsome ship that ever rode them mighty sea waves, could out-sail almost any ship. She and her crew are said to be damn near unstoppable!" He jumps up into the air, unable to contain his excitement. "Well, that's bad news for us, of course. I'll tell y'all the rest of the story later, maybe in the form of a shanty or two. For now, let's look for more skeletons to turn to dust."

"The what? Wait...why is that name familiar?" Ahorangi's steps falter for just a moment but she pushes the intrusive thought to the back of her mind. Now is not the time, pesky brain, we've got skellies to smash! And she keeps running towards the ghostly sails in the distance.
Just as Gubo is finishing his explanation of the Flensed Servent, three more pirate skeletons start rushing towards from around a corner from up the road. Two of the skeletons are dressed similarly to ones you've encountered before. However, one skeleton is wearing a belt around his waist containing something that clearly isn't fresh water or rum.

As he moves following in the path of wispy eldritch magic remnants towards the enemies Laszlo stares hard at the skeleton with the belt trying to discern what the odd object attached there is.
Perception: 18 (unmodified d20 was a 13 if it's a different skill.)
Unfortunately the leap causes him to slip on the wet stonework throwing off his aim. Using the momentum of the slip Laszlo skids around behind the skeleton trying to flank it for his allies. "Ha, now you're surrounded! All according to plan"
Performance: 13
If you're feeling generous you could say it almost seems like he actually meant to do that.
