As the punctured body of the Goblin falls from the bridge, other goblins from up around the path shout to their friend.(in Goblin language). The blood of the dead goblin is mixed with the stream. There are no sounds of more goblins coming to investigate, just the sounds of the other goblins calling out to their friend.
Johnson can understand Goblin: He hears them say "you lazy sloug, quit throwing things down from there. You are to keep watch. If I have to come up there before my turn, I will hang you from that bridge."
Back at the wagons, about a half mile up the road a small band of Goblins and one other larger monstrosity cross the road from the south to the north. They do not see you but the wolf jumps to his feet and heads their way.
they still don’t know we’re her so we might be able to catch them by surprise. they currently just think the bridge guy is being an idiot. We can try and get the drop on them.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: LOL, Malkav. Yes, you are.
Akaas signals almost silently to Thagakh about the Goblin party in case he does not see them. The Halfling, staying low, but getting to his feet, slides into the trees on the north, making sure Thagakh sees him. He will quietly walk in the same direction as the party, angling slightly to end up behind them (following them) close enough to see them, but far enough away to not get their attention.
This cavern is half filled with two large pools of water. A narrow waterfall high in the eastern wall feeds the pool, which drains out the western end of the chamber to form the stream that flows out of the cave mouth below. Low fieldstone walls serve as dams holding the water in. A wide exit stands to the south, while two smaller passages lead west. The sound of the waterfall echoes through the cavern, making it difficult to hear. Three Goblin are in this chamber. One is asleep on the ground near the back wall. The other two are awake and alert sitting at a table playing cards. Johnson has the advantage over both.
Back at the wagons, Akaas sees the goblin band rejoin the trail that his group had followed earlier. Akaas is about 300 feet behind. It is clear now that there are 4 goblins, a bugbear and one wolf.
