New adventure

Two of the three Redbrands start walking towards Thagakh.  The third Redbrand moves to the east up the street and crosses heading north.

Both of them are in studded leather armor and have short swords.  The taller one on the right says, “Are you talking to me pig boy?”

Akaas nods. "Goblins we've already dealt with on this journey. We were lucky enough to dispatch them and rescue Sildar. We'll have to meet them again, I'm afraid, to rescue our employer. Now, this Glasstaff — I haven't yet heard his name. Is he associated with these Redbrands we've been hearing about?"

Halia explains that the Redbrands are a problem. She tells how the ruffians loiter around the Sleeping Giant tap house and have a base under Tresendar Manor, on the east edge of town.

“Glasstaff is the leader of the Redbrands.  He keeps a goblin as a pet that may know the way to Cragmaw castle.  I will give you 100 gp if you eliminate Glasstaff , and bring me any correspondence found in the leader’s quarters.”

Changing the subject, Akaas says, "We found in the Goblin layer a unique frog sculpture. Do you think you might take a look at it if we bring it to you?"

“Do you have it for me to look at it?”

"I'm afraid not. Let me find the associate of mine who does and I shall return." Akaas bows again and turns and leaves to find the statue.

As he is leaving, she shouts, “Do we have a deee....” The words are lost to Akaas as he notices up the street... Redbrands and Thagakh.

Ian after resting heads down to eat in the Inn.

Akaas heads straight for his half-Orc friend, but not in a threatening way. He doesn't want to provoke a confrontation.

Arafiel takes 2 paces back while looking for possible cover

The half-orc kindly replies

"Thagakh clearly not a pig you silly man. Thagakh is a half-orc" and laughs jovially

"Thagakh wants to tell you about the dish since it is almost dinner. You guys must be hungry that's why you act grumpy. Thagakh also act grumpy if hungry."

Is Akaas approaching from his friends' side or the Redbrands' side or the side side?

Akaas is behind the Redbrands approaching from across the street.  He will enter Arafiel’s line Of sight as he approaches.  

The tallest Redbrand pulls out his short sword and says, “ I will show you how we prepare pigs for dinner back home.”

The other Redbrand next to him laughs at his friend’s joke and moves to flank Thagakh and to see Arafiel better.

Akaas walks up behind the Redbrands and stops, planting his gnarled staff in the ground by his feet. "My friend, is there a problem?"

The half-orc grips his greatsword and slowly cuts his arm, dripping the blood as he performs the rite of the storm.

"Thagakh tried to be nice and told you about free food. Now choose, come with Thagakh conscious or unconscious."

A crackle of lightning surrounds his weapon. 

Intimidation 10

Akaas takes an offensive position, grasping his staff in both hands in a flash. He scowls at Thagakh's arm and his crackling weapon.

Surprised by Akaas, the tallest Redbrand attacks Akaas with his short sword making two melee attacks.

attack 2 Attack: 19 Damage: 5

 Both attacks hit.

The second Redbrand draws his sword to attack Thagakh.

attack 1 Attack: 7 Damage: 5

attack 2 Attack: 16 Damage: 5

Zzzzzz.....Boghadair snores softly in his bed.  Dreaming of the upcoming meal and celebration. ..

Both attacks on Thagakh ring true.
