To Thagakh: the door leads to a short hallway. The door directly in front of you is locked....the door at the end of the hall is unlocked. The sounds of crying is getting louder.

To Ian: This room appears to be a wizard’s workshop. A rat scurries across the floor and takes refuge under a large worktable set up with alembics, retorts, distillation coils, and other alchemical devices, all of it stewing and bubbling away. Bookshelves are crowded with sheaves of parchment and strange-looking tomes.
There is another door in this room.

johnson is going to stab at the wizard, run out of the room back toward the main room (grabing the staff as i go) and attempt to hide once I’ve broken line of sight.

I found the wizard and i don’t think he is happy to see me.

The wizard casually walks over to Johnson and takes his staff back. He cast mage armor on himself from the staff.
As Johnson makes another wisdom saving throw, Ian enters the room from the other door. He sees the wizard in front of Johnson who appears paralyzed.

After Thagakh breaks open the door he finds racks of weapons line the walls of this chamber, including spears, swords, crossbows, and bolts. A dozen dirty red cloaks hang from hooks by the door.

He then goes to the other unlocked room skipping happily.
Johnson is still paralyzed.
