Arissa utters Vicious Mockery, targeting the closest monster.
Frandal's two arrows find their mark and bury themselves in the approaching monster's chest. The beast slows its approach momentarily as it emits an enraged growl. It is then engulfed in the flames from Xellos' fireball but behaves as if nothing has happened. Kurt takes a step back, narrowly avoiding being burned by the explosion. He misses with his first swing as the blade fails to penetrate the thick hide of the beast, but his second and third attacks draw blood. Ozum rushes forward and is now dangerously close to the melee between the monster and Kurt. Sariel remains motionless. Arissa's voice can then be heard as she utters both enchantment and insults at the beast closest to the group.
(WIS save for creature: 10)
The beast is within range of both Kurt and Ozum but is aware that the fighter's steel is what just sliced through its hide. It rears up on its hind legs and with both flaming front paws makes its attack on Kurt:
Claw attack 1:24 Damage: 23
Claw attack 2: 10 Damage: 19
Additional fire damage from attacks: 8
The unfamiliar, raspy voice speaks again, this time in Common. "Friends of Syndaris, will you suffer the fate of the Windhovers? Leave this place and you will live." As if to emphasize the seriousness of its request, the creature with the raspy voice steps forward out of the darkness and stands near the other bear-like monster that is next to Sariel. You can see that it is some sort of armored knight or warrior, wielding both shield and sword. Its eyes can be seen from this distance, for they are like two tiny burning points of light. It then places the point of its sword within inches of Sariel's body.
Frandal: Your action is next, followed by Xellos'.
NOTE: Kurt, Ozum and the first monster are approximately 50' from Xellos, Frandal, and Arissa. Another 50' past Kurt and Ozum is Sariel, the second monster, and the armored-clad knight.

Frandal pulls his bowstring once more, loading one of the precious arrows he won at the archery contest, and focuses on the knight’s hand. All dissapears for him, the undeads, the city under attack, the flaming bears, even Sariel. He just see the gauntled hand that is his target.
He takes a deep breath and when he releases the air he shoots his arrow towards it.
Cast True Strike to gain advantage and has another roll thanks to Elven Accuracy.
Frandal, in a seemingly miraculous display of marksmanship, releases an arrow that pierces the sword hand of the dark knight. You hear the dull clang of steel hitting the stone street as the creature drops its sword.

WIS save for Nightbear: 17
WIS save for dark knight: 32
The nightbear farthest from all of you immediately disappears from view. Xellos' spell has turned it into a rat, and it is now too small to see in the darkness. The armored knight, however, seems wholly unphased by Xellos' attempt.
Ozum: Your action is next, followed by Kurt's (I will then roll for Arissa).

<I believe Sariel is dead. My healing had no effect. Do not let them trick you.> He telepathically communicates in his head.
He points his mistletoe toward the knight's armor (or shield if they aren't wearing armor) and speaks out a harsh druidic phrase. The armor begins to glow hot and bright in the darkness.

The wounded nightbear lumbers forward, covering the distance between itself and Frandal, who becomes the target of next two claw attacks.
Claw attack 1: 24 Damage: 16
Claw attack 1:28 Damage: 48
Additional fire damage from attacks: 7
The armored knight then makes a gripping motion with his wounded hand while simultaneously uttering the Hold Person spell. (Frandal, Kurt, and Ozum must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw).
Bharash, still under the effect of his Fly, swoops in and lands on the rooftop to the east of the action (see map below). The wizard quickly casts Finger of Death, targeting the wounded nightbear. (CON save for nightbear: 13). The creature suffers 70 necrotic damage and immediately slumps to the ground, dead.
Frandal and Kurt are immediately paralyzed by the dark knight's spell. Ozum, however, resists the ill intent of the knight and remains completely free to move and act.
Xellos, the next turn is yours, followed by Ozum's (after which I will roll for Arissa).
NOTE:
The dark knight stands in H11 (DM forgot to add him to the map).
Ozum moves over to Kurt and places a hand on him while whispering a druidic phrase to shock him back into the fight. He continues concentrating on the knight's armor, causing it to glow with a white hot light.

DEX save for dark knight:22
The dark knight flinches momentarily as it suffers the cumulative effects of the fire damage from Ozum and Xellos.
"So noble, but so foolish!" the knight yells. As he speaks these words he steps forward approximately 25' and then slams the ground with his fist. A concussive blast of sound and energy then overtakes Kurt, Ozum, and Xellos as this destructive wave hits them.
12 thunder damage (half on a successful save) | 22 radiant damage (half on a successful save)
NOTE: After CON saving throws by Xellos and Kurt, which will determine the effect of the destructive wave, Xellos will take his turn. Then Frandal can use his turn to make another WIS saving throw in an attempt to end his paralysis.
