Vena looks down at the vines growing around her feet with distaste and then across at Vargach bearing his teeth in what Dimbo has assumed is some sort of humanoid mating ritual. “Sleep with you, I have no intention of sleeping with you, there are undiscovered species I’d prefer to sleep with!”. She turns to Nicolae and says “you’re right, it’s not worth it!” before turning to her group “c’mon on.” As she leaves you can hear her say oink to the smallest weakest member of her group “move you’re shit to my old bunk, we’re swapping bunks!”.
Everybody gets inspiration
(OOC I’m finding it hard to make regular posts with the work and the spotty internet but will try and keep up)
Dimbo burbles and bowed his head in apparent dejection for at most a moment or two, only to snap back to attention at some thought and wave after Vena! "Do let me know how those experiences turn out!"He called out as well. Regardless of whatever likely scathing remark came of his innocent request, which would only seem to roll off his seeming rubbery skin, the plasmoid focus again on putting away the non-essentials at his bunk.
With that then eventually done, he returns to the others with the biggest smile and says, "My Friends. Compatriots! One and all maybe? Shall we head topside to the docks for the next on the agenda? If we move quick enough and do a plenty enough good job, mayhaps they'll even let us have a small crack of the controls by the end of the lesson!"

Smiling triumphantly, Vargach settles his things on the bunk. Familiar with the ways of the beta members of the tribe, he sets up his drum to make a loud gong if someone disturbs his possessions.

”Yessss, nexxxxxxt tasssssk,” agrees Vargach, ready to head off with Dimbo.

Zalacious follows the others through the rest of their tasks for the day being unusually quiet for him. His mind is on other things... Plotting on how best to make sure Vena doesn't try anything like that again.
Obviously a good throat slashing is probably out of the question... But something to let her know she can be gotten to. Stealing her stuff is an option, and Zelacious of course is always considering that, but it's not quite the lesson he is aiming to teach. She's too big for him to move to her own bed, and he would need to move the one she forced to swap as well. Perhaps something embarrassing... Have them wake up with their clothes all missing or the standard hand in warm water... But no, there needs to be some threat to it. Perhaps... Hmmmm.
If Zelacious got all his starting equipment back then he has what he needs... If not, then he will go through all the remaining tasks with an eye out for some string to steal. He won't need too much, a couple or four feet perhaps. That's all. He plans to wait til everyone else is asleep and then sneak over to Vena and ties each thumb and each big toe to a different bed post... Tightly and securely. Not intending harm, just secure enough that she'll need help getting free.
Nicolae grins as the others step back, stopped by their attempt to take over their area and intimidate them.
"Sounds good Dimbo, let's head there next." Nicolae says after changing his clothing out for the red uniform of the cadets. He grabs his helmet and moves to follow.
Naidania matter of fact but sincerely says. "Peace be with you." To Vena, then she follows the others. She is interested to find out what vessel she will be assigned to.

Will put up a detailed post in next day or so but meanwhile Zalacious can you make a Stealth roll
The party consult their task list and realise that their next destination is the Sky Dock for a briefing on spelljamming ships. Consulting their map they realise that the Sky Dock is not surprisingly at the top of the rock spire on which the academy is built; some 2000 feet or approximately 4000 steps – give or take a few – above their quarters. As they make their way up the stairs they see posted all over the place signs which read ‘Due to recent thefts, security checkpoints are in operations throughout the campus. Failure to stop when challenged will result in disintegration!’ At one point as they climb the stairs they pass a gurney pushed by fleet officers on which a manacled mind flayer is lying; the mind flayer wears an iron mask with bands restraining its facial tentacles. At another point they are passed by two sailors in deep conversation, the party is able to pick up the snippets of their discussion which seems to be centered around the fact that despite recent improvements, three out of ten exploratory fleet missions still result in all hands lost.
Eventually the party reaches the stairs leading to the skydock. At the base of the stairs are two security guards.
(OOC – I need a description from the players what they are wearing and how they are planning to proceed!)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((I imagine Zelacious changed into the red Tunic and Trousers we were issued. He surely plans to make some adjustments to them in time but hasn’t had the opportunity yet… he plans to proceed by following the group, complaining vociferously and colorfully in as creative a manner as possible, but otherwise going through with this whole routine thing…))
And just noticed you had given us all inspiration! I’ll use it on that disaster plus Stealth roll I made to change it to: 11
Having changed into the provided red warrior clothing, Vargach is following along with the others. Being unfamiliar with this type of clothing, he still tries to make sure the associated security tags/ID’s on the uniforms are clearly visible.
A tempted Dimbo nearly makes the error of questioning more about the security system in place, and how the academy had managed to acquire such accessible resource! However, between the group likely wanting to be on their way and some semblance of self-control winning out, the plasmoid carried on walking with his upper half almost perfectly mirroring a more rotund inflatable tube man. Despite the clear lack of familiarity in using more humanoid shapes in order to better accomadate the tunic and trousers they'd been given, that harpdly seemed to bother the plasmoid.
Nor had he seemed much bother in the passing snippet from others... though he had filed away that little nugget in his head. "Well met, my good guards! Isn't it a -- Oh! Hold on." Dimbo's 'head' plasma burbles and jiggles for a second until his id floated up into it to dance with his eyes. Then without much further adieu, he pulls it out of his face and presents it. "There were are. We're here about a briefing on spelljamming ships! Hope we're not too late."He says to the security officers.

Shean is the first to change into their new red clothes and waits for the others somehow impatiently. He literally is a couple of steps ahead of the group as they climb up. He doesn't hide that this task is the one he was waiting for. Looking back to the others, as they climb up he excitedly goes talking them about spelljammer ships, their models and their characteristics... so he doesn't see the guards with the manacled mind flyer, tripping on them and falling to the ground, stepping on the mind flier and making one of the guards to fall down too.
"Oh shit.. sorry so sorry... I didn't intend to... I didn't see you... you ok sir? and you bud? so sorry about that... please let me help you stand... oh! no he remains on the floor... I see... yeah... sorry... have a good day!"
He keeps on climbing, his excitement unaltered by the incident.
Naidania makes sure that her uniform is impeccable, making sure to smooth any crease. She wears her star covered robe over the uniform. She follows the others to the Sky Dock from the back of the party. She doesn't pay the Mind Flayer much attention, for she has seen her share in her short life.

In total opposite to Naidania, one would almost think he intentionally added more creases, Ozzy pulls on the red uniform, half the buttons undone going down his chest. As he makes his way up the stairs, he engages in little small talk with the other cadets, offering occasional comment to Zelacious if he can get a word in. He spends most of the walk, making note of the pathways observing the goings ons as they make their way.
"We're going to the Sky Dock, Schmedley. We're due for a very important briefing on the ships and to choose what we'll be manning. Now if you'll just step aside and allow us through we don't really have time to be stopping every time someone with an overindulged sense of importance wants to get up in our grill, eh?" Zelacious sneers as he tries to just keep strutting right past the guards.
