Initiative: Tarok - 5 Redbrand Ruffian - 12
Tarok charges after the fleeing Redbrand, following him out the room's southern door into a hallway, but the Redbrand is not in sight. There is a door to the south right in front of Tarok, and the hallway continues to the east, up a set of stairs.
OOC: A Dash on this turn can take you through the door in front of you, or up the steps to the east if you so choose.
The others stand inside the original room with the other three now-unarmed Redbrand's. The ruffian Tarok defeated in battle whimpers as he clutches his shattered leg.
Tarok looks at the stairs and then at the door. His last instance of leaving his companions to chase down an enemy didn't work out so well, he still feels tired from the chase in the forest. He decides to go back to the room so that the companions can face whatever threats might be still be lurking in the hideout together.
"He can't have gotten too far, we'd best stick together though." he says to the others.

Nemean looks at the captured Redbrands and ponders what to do about them. He turns to his companions to speak quietly so the captives won't hear him.
"I have some rope that we can use to tie them up so they won't escape, or... we could just knock them out and hope they don't wake up until the Lord's Alliance can come here to bring them to whatever justice they see fit. Either way, we should make sure they don't escape so we can clear out the rest of these scum."
OOC: Sorry for the hiatus there guys, very busy week at work for me. Not sure what everyone else's excuse is :)
"You're going to help us convince the others to surrender. With some cooperation, you're all likely to live." Cinis said lazily near the door, holding the staff in one hand.

Argos leans in and whispers back to Nemean, "We can both knock them out and tie them up, no reason we can't do both."
After Cinis speaks to the prisoners, Argos speaks up, "Aye, you'll probably live. But any of you so much as think about thinking about escaping, I'll cut your legs off." Argos draws his shortsword and leans in close to one of the prisoners, "So, do we have any volunteer to come with us and convince your friends that we killed your leader and defeated you? If you can't convince them, we'll just have to use alternative methods."
Argos grabs one of the mugs off the table and scoops some ale out of one of the nearby open barrels, chugging the entire mug.
OOC: Sorry about not posting for a while. I'm not going to make any excuses, instead I'll just start posting again.
"I'll do it," one of the standing Redbrands volunteers, slurring his words, "Jus' promise you'll lemme live." Like most of the Redbrands you've encountered so far, he looks dumb and brutish, a typical barfighter-turned-mercenary.
Sildar gestures to the broken Redbrand, whose screams have quieted to whimpers. "I don't think this one's going anywhere without assistance. The other will carry him back to the town jail at the point of my sword."
Tracking: There is a door that exits this room to the south. There is a door that exits this room to the north, from where you entered.
OOC: No worries all, I had a busy week myself, and I didn't want to advance without an action posted by one of you. This is your story after all, not Sildar's.
Argos cuts some lengths from his rope to tie up the Redbrands. Argos ties up their hands behind their back and their feet, except he leaves enough space on the feet for the Redbrands to shuffle at a slow pace.
"Welp, we better move out. We should leave the other two Redbrands here for now, preferably in an unconscious state."
If nobody in the party objects, Argos whips out one of his shortswords and bashes the other two Redbrands in the back of the head with the hilt, attempting to knock them out.
After taking care of the other two, Argos leads the remaining conscious Redbrand to the southern door. "You make any noise other than the noise I allow you to make, I'll knock you out cold like your two friends back there, you got it?" Argos continues out of the room through the southern door with the Redbrand in tow, when the others in the party are willing to leave.
Tarok watches on with his maul slung over his shoulder. "It's time the Redbrands came to an end. It's sad that a brotherhood of decent men could be turned into bandits so easily. Perhaps in time they'll turn back to decent men." he adds.

"Or...not, I suppose that will do the trick," Sildar says, his idea overruled, as Nemean and Argos crumple one Redbrand to the ground, and stomp the broken Redbrand unconscious on the stone floor.
With a resigned sigh, the conscious Redbrand exits the room to the south, into the narrow hallway Tarok ran to earlier. A closed door is directly ahead of you to the south. The hallway continues to the east to a set of stairs leading upward.
Argos leads the remaining Redbrand into the hall with his shortsword drawn, and asks him quietly about the room behind the south door in the hallway, "What's behind this door? Any of your friends?"
Argos pushes the Redbrand against the wall in the hallway. "Stay here, and stay quiet."
Argos whispers towards his comrades, "There's probably gonna be bugbears in this next room, be ready."
Argos, with a shortsword in hand, waits for the others to prepare to storm the room. After everyone is in position, Argos pushes the southern door open with ferocity.
OOC: It's been over 24 hours, so I'll assume Tarok and Cinis are fine with storming the room.

The door opens with a crash when Argos enters. The room does appear to be a barracks of sorts. It contains four roughly built wooden bunks, with heaped-up blankets and dirty dishes scattered about. A strong smell of unwashed bodies and rotten meat fills the air. Three tall, furry humanoids are lounging among the mess, barking orders at a sad little goblin that demeans itself for their amusement. One has a fancy jeweled eyepatch strapped to its head. The goblin emits a high pitched scream at the sight of the dwarf, then faints. The bugbears reach for morningstars strapped to their backs at the sight of the intruder.
Suddenly, the quick lanky creatures all have their morningstars in hand and have Argos surrounded in the entrance to the room. Argos ducks beneath a wild swing, and twirls sideways as another crashes into the ground behind him. A third swing catches him unaware from the opposite side, however, glancing off of his shoulder, dealing 17 piercing damage.
Tracking: Argos stands 5 feet into the room, with a bugbear on all three sides. The others are bottlenecked in the 5-foot wide hallway, which runs in an L shape north and east of the room. The goblin lies unconscious on the east end of the room, 15 feet from the door.
