"I love bats," Cinis said to himself with a smile, not bothering to look up.
I guess I won't have to worry about mosquitos this morning. That's a plus. Then I can die a horrible death at the hands of a banshee without being all itchy.

To Cinis's surprise, the "bats" flying overhead are actually stirges, slightly larger winged pests with a large proboscis and hooked claws. They dive into the camp, hungry for blood. Three suddenly lodge within Cinis, digging into his body with their claws and driving their proboscises into him, dealing 7, 5, and 6 piercing damage. More stirges fly above, screeching, looking for more creatures to strike.
Round 1 Order: Stirges Cinis <=====
Tracking: Three stirges have lodged themselves within Cinis. A creature, including the target, can use its action to dislodge a stirge. Cinis can see six additional stirges flying in the air above camp. The others are sleeping, but a simple shout added to the noise of the stirges should be more than enough to wake them.
"GAAAAAAHHH!" Cinis shouted when the stirges embedded themselves in him.
I'm probably going to regret this...
Panicked and not entirely thinking things through, Cinis did the first thing that came to mind. Cast an Ice Knife right on himself and the stirges embedded in his body.
Cinis thrusts a shard of ice at the ground between his feet. It explodes on impact, throwing shrapnel into the air. The chunks of ice tear through two of the stirges, killing them, rip through the third stirge's wing, and graze Cinis as well.
The wounded stirge feeds, drawing 5 points of blood loss from Cinis's body. His vision begins to swim as he feels himself weakening and growing light in the head. He falls unconscious, the stirge still attached.
Argos, Nemean and Tarok awake to the sound of Cinis's scream and ice shattering.
Round 2 Order: Stirges Players <=====
Tracking: Cinis is unconscious and dying in the middle of camp. Argos, Nemean and Tarok are lying prone in the middle of camp. One stirge is attached to Cinis and drawing blood, heavily wounded. Six stirges are flying above the camp, ready to strike.

Argos stands up and grabs one of his shortswords from his pile of gear. "What in the nine hells is going on?!" Argos looks around and notices the remnants of the ice shards, then the stirges, and realizes what's going on. He then runs over to Cinis, slicing at the blood sucker on him. "Stirges! Damned pests and blood suckers. Keep'em off you."
If Argos cannot make it to Cinis, he will instead run as far as he can towards him and dodge.
OOC: Yep, got it. All three stirges failed the save and took damage, but I roll monster health rather than use the average, so they don't all have the exact same hit points.

Nemean jolts out of a light sleep, and instinctively leaps to his feet as he hears Cinis scream, his fur standing on end. He turns to witness the Stirges tear into him. His jaw drops and he feels his stomach turns as he sees his friend bravely conjures an icy explosion upon himself. He then springs into action and his feline reflexes take over. He grabs his longbow in and in a flash of action, the lean Tabaxi sprints across the dimly lit dirt, shadows danced on his face from the campfire illuminating through his mane. He slides in next to Cinis and Argos, and rapidly draws two arrows, firing them at the two nearest in the hoard of flying monsters, hissing slightly as each arrow releases.
