I want you to know. You are going to lose. You are going to lose badly. You’re going to lose badly and it’s going to be awesome.
As your ship weaves between the enemy flank, you have a few close calls, but are not hit. Mave, who is the only other gold on this leach craft, begins to speak.
"Sir, Pax and his squad have connected with the enemy hull, with a 69% latch rate. They are entering the enemy cruiser now." She puts her hand on her ear, as if listening to a com. "Sir, our part of this leach squad is ready to latch and follow after Pax on your command."

Your ship, as well as the rest of the leeches, start connecting to the enemy cruiser. There's a large shake as the magnets in your ship activate and pull you in, and a loud grinding noise as the laser cutters get to work. In 15 seconds flat, you now have a perfectly cut entrance into the heart of the enemy. You seem to be near the front of the cruiser, about 400 meters from where the bridge should be.
Your com buzzes again, and Pax's voice rings through. "Ship seems practically clear, must'a sent all their troops elsewhere. Should be no one to try and stop you making your way to the bridge, cap."

"The blockades seem fine, they're both at at least 80% integrity. The gift, however, is being targeted by basically everything the Acros fleet has. She's holding in there, with 48% hull integrity, but could use a little more flank support if you have any."

"Yes." says Garagas to Victra, "I would like a status report. As you're on Phobos' Gift and with the Blockades I figure you're the better on-the-ground source for the status of these ships. And as a question, do you need additional assistance of another ship's flank guns for protection or is the addition of our long-range flank sufficient for the time being?"
[[OOC: gonna take care of other task-items at hand in a later post; just getting something quick right now; thinking of the possibility of taking one of the 4 ships and getting it closer to the damaged one, but gonna mull that in addition with Victra report]]

"The blockades seem fine, they're both at at least 80% integrity. The gift, however, is being targeted by basically everything the Acros fleet has. She's holding in there, with 48% hull integrity, but could use a little more flank support if you have any."

"Empty..." Lazaren mutters to himself. Then, using the com, "Proceed as planned. And stay on your toes. We don't know if they're trying to trick us or somethin'. Pax, get as close as you can to the bridge, then let us know if you run into anyone. We'll follow once you contact us." Lazaren orders everyone to exit the leeches, even the ones that will be waiting with him and Mave.

Your orders are followed, and Pax moves forward. A few seconds later, the com starts up again.
"We're at the door to the bridge, no hostiles in sight. Doors sealed, but we can probably get through."

"Send out, maybe 5 scouts, to explore the ship. Give them coms, and instruct them to let us know if they find anything unusual." Lazaren says to Mave, and lets Pa know that this is happening, too. Using his com, he says to Pax, "Knock 'em down. We gotta find these cowards. Mave, the troops, and I are heading towards you now."
