Cainneach is mortified by the vicious attack on Thatch, drops his bow and grabs the spear from the ground beside him. Thinking that the piercing of the arrow seemed to be effective, he stabs viciously with both hands on the weapon. Cainneach tries to see down the corridor to assess how Dru and the others are doing, but between the difficult lighting and the frantic situation, he can't get a good look. His anxiety begins to rise considerably.

Round 3.
Thatch staggers under the damaging blow, but adrenaline kicks in and he draws his second shortsword, slicing frantically with both at the cloth warrior in front of him.
Attack TW7: 13 Damage: 8.
Bonus action: Attack TW7: 16 Damage: 7.
Plus sneak attack damage if Cainneach is within 5 feet: 6.
Drus blade came across and her opponent fell to the floor as fabric scraps, Thatch likewise slashes theirs to ribbons and then turns to cut Cainneachs foe across the back.
Cainneach ran his foe through and it blew to dust and scraps, Hotspur continued evading his foe leading it a merry dance...it fell to pieces as the loose threads could no longer keep up the pace and it crumbled away.
Only three of the Tapestry Warriors still remained and two of those had at least some damage, the three enemy lunged as one at Bretwald.
Sir Valor blocked most of the blow aimed at Father Bretwalds head, resulting in a shallow scrape rather than a decapitation, the old man keened as blood ran from the cut. Reversing his blade Sir Valor destroyed one of the constructs even as Morseth put paid to the other.
Between them Mizzen and Tana were able to bring down the last.
The companions looked about as the scraps of fabric and cloth began to dissolve into nothing and the images of the warriors appeared again on the tapesty....now carrying the wounds they had received in the fight just concluded.
All was silent except for winces of pain from some of the companions and Bretwald.
" What an experience! Ancient sorcery giving life to the unliving.....most amazing. Obviously not the sort of thing to be celebrated....or so my brothers of the cloth tell me. But still....most amazing."
" Thankyou for your aid there, I'm afraid I'm more than a little out of practice when it comes to the battlefield."
Hotspur attempts to rip down the tapestry and wad it up in a ball. "Oy, there's a passage behind here. Also, would it be desecrating the tomb to light this bloody tapestry on fire?"

The tapestry comes down easily enough, lying in a pile on the floor.
Bretwald looks aghast then somewhat pensive, " It is of historical value....do you....do you think they'll come out again?"

Cainneach, after taking a moment to see that Dru seems to be okay, turns to Thatch and inquires, "How bad are your wounds? I'm sorry that I wasn't able to prevent that supernatural beast from laying into you! You fight well, though, and I fear there will be a great deal more of that to come."Cainneach then turns to the portcullis and attempts to determine its nature and if it can be opened.
Hotspur answers the priest, "No idea, but I really don't want to take any chances right now. As always, I defer to Valor's sensible if unimaginative judgment."
Tana eases slightly when the last tapestry warrior finally falls. She glances about at her companions, brow furrowing at the sight of some of the nastier wounds.
"Is anyone in need of healing?" Her questioning is soft-spoken, still laced with caution lest any other warriors lay hidden about.
After the last of the cloth warriors fall, only to reappear back on the tapestry, Thatch slumps to his knees, leaning against his shortsword with one hand going to the gaping wound across his midsection. “I am not doing so well. I could use any help anyone can offer” His face is white as he looks back up at Cainneach but he has a lopsided grin “Thanks, and you as well. I hope there is no more of that, but if there is I will try to stay further away from it.”
"For cryin' out loud, why send in such idiots to tear us down in the first place?" Mizzen adds as he spends a moment to recover from the wound he took on head first.
