Expertly, you silently sneak up the northern tunnel a short ways before finding yourself in another muraled room similar to the one you left behind. Instead of being empty however, there is a short table with a small stone box on the northern wall across from you.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
I will walk back to the party and tell them what is in the next room, then wait for everyone to finish looking around before going to the next room I don’t think it is safe to split up with something around here we have not seen yet
Kathra, having decided there is a chance of seeing a new dragon and possibly fighting it, is eager to continue their investigation. "Let's see what other murals they've got in here, and whether or not they explain what manner of beast sheds such a scale."
The scale is most certainly draconic in nature, however it is not from any dragon you've ever seen or read about. As most dragon scales are either metallic or chromatic in coloration, it is very odd to find a specimen like this that appears to be clear as crystal. It's almost as if someone created a dragon scale out of Glassteel, a substance you are only slightly familiar with on a rudimentary level. But for what reason a person would do that is anyone's guess.
For the party:
The last room on this leg of the hallways is very similar to the previous mural room. Several strange and wondrous pictures prominently featuring oval shaped, tusked humanoids cover the walls. There are what appear to be a few woven mats on the ground here an there. By the far wall, a small table with a carved stone box sits seemingly undisturbed.
((Important thing for me; whoever was last into the room needs to make a Perception check without Guidance.))

I as so enamored with the last set of circles and dots on the mural, I lagged behind. Kind of a “hey guys wait for me!” So I will volunteer to bring up the rear.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kathra is primarily concerned with the murals, hoping she can glean some more about the culture, and maybe see if there's a giant crystal dragon flying around in any of them.

"Hey Kathra, I don't think this is from a dragon... Maybe a sort of artificial one, but nothing natural." He notices the box and approaches it. "Now what could be in here?"
Before touching anything, Mirabel gives it a quick once-over to make sure it isn't trapped.
Everything seems fine. There's clearly nothing to worry about as you head into this northern-most room with your friends, other than maybe the small dangers you have faced so far.
For Thont:
This room looks slightly more "lived-in", what with the woven floor mats that are reminiscent of the meditation mats or even sleeping pallets that were employed at your old monastery. However, everything here looks at least a month or more unused. There a fine layer of dust on everything and no tracks or hand-prints to show anew new traffic beyond you and your friends. The table looks sized for a medium size creature, perhaps one a little taller like that of either you or the walrus-folk you have seen.
For Kathra:
Among the many artistic renderings and other designs, you don't see anything that calls out any crystal dragons. There is, of course, the occasional dragon mixed in with the other constellations of animals and certain fantastical monsters.
For Mirabel:
The decorated stone box does not appear to be trapped in any way.

I’m ready when everyone else is. I take one last look at the murals to see if any of the markings on the discs we have are present.

*or just stare into the pretty pictures
For Gavin:
Yeah, those sure are some pretty circles and dots.
If it helps, here's a map of all the places you guys have been so far (including the northernmost room that Peren recently visited):
((So helpful! You’re freakin awesome Meta!))

((Hot damn that's a nice looking map))
“Ooh more pretty pictures, count me in!”
Peren is also ready to see where that scale came from, Let's head to the northern room
((Thanks for the map))
I’m ready! ((Sorry - work swamped today))
((And that map is awesome))
Mirabel enters the north room and immediately looks for anything that might point towards the nature of the scaled crystal beast.

I’ll go in looking for scrapes or tracks and/or signs of life. Is the table walrus-folk sized?
