Onika throws her magic stone at the wolf, striking it in the leg, giving it a slight limp. Then the black magic surrounds the wolf again, causing him to yelp with pain. He turns his head toward her as she runs to her new cover.
Eithne, clearly disappointed to be left out of the fight, dashes toward Nikolai and Lucian.
Pietrovich fires two arrows at the wolf, then pulls out his short sword. The first arrow strikes the wolf in the shoulder. The second flies over the animal.
Lenn drops the bow and unsheathes his great sword while walking towards the wolf male. In silence he raises his weapon and tries to end the fight as fast and painless as he can. (12 attack 15 damage on a hit. Rolled in the game log)

Lucian stares at the she-wolf in front of him, expecting her to attack at any moment. Shaking a little, he drops the crossbow and raises his arms protectively in front of himself. Still he hesitates, the wolf hadn’t attacked him… then Nikolai is dragged down beside him by the second wolf. Eyes widening he unwittingly moves forward to place himself between the wolf in front of him and his friend. Then he attacks the wolf that just grappled Nikolai shouting, “Get off of him!” Vaguely, he realizes how foolish this move was, but it was already done, so there is no point in worrying about the consequences.
He strikes at the wolf with his bare hands, pummeling it’s head in attempt to get it to let go of the half-elf.
Chara realizes that Nikolai just got thrown to the ground by one of the wolves. Even though her Hex is on the male wolf, she decides that Nikolai and Lucian need her help more than Onika, Len, and Petrorich do.
The she-devil flies towards them, positioning herself as close as she can to Nikolai so that she can expend a use of Healing Light on him, restoring 3 hit points.
She unleashes another spell on the second wolf (the one that Lucian did not just pummel with his fists and is still at full-health). Whispering a strange incantation, she casts Mind Sliver (Spell Save DC 14, Intelligence save), dealing 3 Psychic damage if the wolf fails its save.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Onika looks at the last of the stones she enchanted and throws it at the male wolf. (Natural 20 rolled in Game Log for total of 20 damage)
She grimaces as she strikes the creature again, but takes a breath with a look of bitterness.
If the wolf dies, she runs towards the center of the clearing and collects the shadow that pooled under the wolf's body to shift her Hex to the closer of the two female wolves.

Nikolai tries and fails to stifle a cry of pain as the wolf bites him and throws him to the ground. As he struggles to stand, the pain lessens as he is surrounded by a holy, healing light emanating from Chara. He waves at her gratefully, and clambers back to his feet.
"Invadum Mentis!" he cries, staring at the wolf that bit him. (mind sliver DC 15 INT Save or else 1 psychic damage and subtract 1d4 from next saving throw)
After striking the wolf, Lucian feels his heart quicken. Something within him moves, and he puts a hand to his chest, clutching at his shirt. No no No! He'd avoided this for weeks, he couldn't let it slip now. Staggering backwards (no movement, this is just flavor), he shuts his eyes and breaths rhythmically in through his nose and out through his mouth. His body is shaking, but it slows down as time passes and he calms himself. Perhaps this would leave him open, but he doesn't have much of a choice.
Lucian, seeing the wolf pull down Nikolai, turns to it and pummels it with his bare hands, smashing in its skull, breaking its bones, rendering it into a pulpy mass. (Nikolai, please make a perception roll). After the attack, Lucian looks down at his hands, covered in gore and seems to come to himself, closing his eyes and breathing evenly.
The male wolf, focused on the one who has caused it the most pain, charges to Onika, behind her rock. He is just able to make it through the thick underbrush. He bites at her, grabbing her leg in his jaws, causing 8 pts of damage (Onika, please make a Strength save).
Lenn runs after the beast, catching up, but slightly tripping on a raised root in the underbrush and flubbing his swing, he misses the wolf. Meanwhile, Nikolai, aided by the efforts of Lucian and Chara, climbs back to his feet and with a gesture and a shouted phrase, a barely visible bolt of force shoots from his head to the remaining wolf. The wolf shudders with the force of the blow, whimpering in pain.
In fact, this wolf seems to make the decision to surrender. Still whimpering in pain, she flops on her back, prostrate before Lucian, her belly and neck exposed. While there, she is struck by another bolt of invisible force from Chara. With a yelp of pain, the she-wolf maintains her submissive pose.
(Onika, before we can get to your turn, I need you to roll to hit again. With the wolf right there, you need to roll with disadvantage. That said, you can take a completely different action if you like).
(OOC: Onika, you don't actually need to roll disadvantage; I realized that you have flanking as well. If Lenn doesn't kill the wolf, you're nat 20 comes into effect)
(OOC: Eithne, you aren't going to be where you are on the map right now; I haven't moved you yet because your turn hasn't arrived)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
By the way, if Eithne can see the she-wolf surrender, she tries to asses if it would be possible and reasonably safe to capture her (making a leash and muzzle with a rope) and, with time, tame her. Same for the cubs (probably easier with them).
Undecide what roll thsi should be. Animal Handling? Nature?
Eithne has +2 on both, so I'm doing a +2 roll. If you rule that a different skill was needed, we can keep the roll and simply adjust the bonus
Taming feasibility assessment roll: 4
If she comes to the conclusion that the she-wolf could be tamed, she shouts "Wait! Spare the surrending she-wolf!"
(She says nothing about he cubs, for now, since nobody is threatening them at the moment)
(OOC: I’m not sure if this messes up the rounds or not since my next action is taken already, but…)
Lucian, now calm…or calmer then he was at least, opens his eyes to see the surrendering wolf laying on her back in front of him. Vaguely, he hears Eithne’s request to leave this one alive and…he feels a hint of relief. Something about the whimpering of this wolf mother bothered him…no, it had nothing to do with his other half. That part of him was nearly incapable of sympathy, yet… As the wolf lays there whimpering, he finds himself trembling again. Slowly, he sinks down beside her and places a hand on her neck, stroking the fur across her cheek. “I’m sorry,” he whispers. “You…you’re alright.” He pauses, glancing at the blood on his hands. Had he really just killed a wolf with his fists? Unsure if he really should feel anything towards this animal…sorrow or anger…he stays where he is, still trembling slightly.
(OOC: I suspect that the battle is over at this point; if Lenn's attack doesn't finish off the male wolf, Onika's probably did)
Seeing that all the wolves are dead or beaten, Chara lands lightly on the ground. She takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly to calm her nerves as she turns her attention towards the pups and the 'something' that they were tearing away at. As much as she doesn't want it to be the case, she doubts that there's much hope of the child being alive.
Slowly, she approaches whatever the wolves have left behind, keeping an eye on the pups hiding within the cleft of the rock, ready to leap into the air if they make a move towards her. The she-devil's heart thumps so loudly that she suspects the wolves, and maybe even her companions, can hear it as she braces herself to find out the fate of the child for sure.
"May my master and the Morninglord hear my plea," Chara whispers, beseeching both her mysterious patron and the only benevolent deity that she can think of. "Please let the girl be alive."
...Vaguely, he hears Eithne’s request to leave this one alive...
(OOC: Eithne's request comes only If she comes to the conclusion that the she-wolf could be tamed; let's wait for DM's reply...)
(OOC: I was honestly planning on having him do this anyways, I just added that part after reading your post. So if it turns out that you don’t make the request, that line can be disregarded….we’ll see if it turns out to be a mistake lol.)
