Avaria slips into the water, belatedly hoping that the orcs only use it for swimming and nothing else. Like the water in your own cavern you detect salt right away.
(One Athletics check and two perception check rolls please for Avaria)
Avaria quickly powers down to the bottom of the pool. Whether she just loves swimming or is particularly keyed up for exploration, Avaria quickly finds the entrance to the tunnel Haguur mentioned.
It ends up being actually hard to miss, being about 10 feet wide with ample clearance to swim into.
As she moves closer to the tunnel entrance, something else catches Avaria's eye. The edge of a small pouch can just be made out, partially buried in sand not far from the entrance to the underwater tunnel.
(Avaria has a Constitution of 16, so she can hold it for 4 minutes.)
As Avaria gets to the tunnel entrance, she scoops up the small pouch, then continues into the underwater tunnel. She'll go as far as she feels comfortable to be able to get back before running out of air.
Haguur grunts at the mention of Godrick Hargrove and mumbles something about 'creepy shite' and "strangling with own guts".
He pauses for a moment longer before finally saying "Took job from wrong people. Killed many but not enough. Ended up slave and sold here. The mother bought me."
Harry Dodd's raises an eyebrow at the taciturn Ethel then shrugs. "Well if anything comes to mind, let me know. I'd love to do a little business with your charming crew." He waves a hand at Ula and returns to his table to finish his drink.
Getrude looks up from the bar, noting Dodd's movement but failing to see him interact with either of you.
A commotion in one corner draws her attention away. A drunken pair of pirates have taken a liking to Geffroi and begin pushing him back and forth between the two of them.
Underwater, Avaria finds that the tunnel quickly begins to twist and turn, with small niches going off to the side. At points it narrows to less than 5' across.
Athletics Check - DC 10 please to make it 10' (Difficult underwater terrain cuts Avaria's speed to 1/3 normal but also need the athletics check to navigate the tunnel).
Avaria gets turned around and snagged on some low rock for a moment and by the time she gets reoriented she discovers she's made no progress.
Avaria:
Avaria Air Tracker - Round 2: 12 seconds down; 3 minutes 48 seconds remaining (it took 6 seconds to find the tunnel entrance and grab the pouch).
Avaria Progress Tracker - 0'
As an FYI - the only limit on how many times Avaria can roll an athletics check is whether she has any air left or not. One successful DC10 roll gets you 10' of movement. Once you traverse a section, it's no longer difficult terrain and will only cut movement in 1/2 for swimming, and the DC will go down for that section.
Ethel considered how to respond to this man, whom she had little trust for. Apparently he felt their window for conversation had closed and moved on. Well enough.
Ethel considered approaching the bartender but noticed the commotion around Geffroi.
Sigh.
She take her mop and bucket in that direction. “Look here now,” she says to the pirates, pointing the disease scarred side of her face to them. “This man has cleaning to do. Unless one of you wants to pickup a mop and take over his chores, best let him get back to work.”

Avaria twists and turns through the water. At times she feels like she's turning back on herself, and at one point almost gets snagged again on some rock where the tunnels hits its narrowest. But she suddenly pops free of the tunnel and finds her self in a larger opening. Swimming upwards, Avaria breaks the surface and sucks in air; dank, slightly stale but breathable air with a slight hint of rotten eggs about it.
From her spot at the surface of the water, she realizes she's in the middle of a pool in a rough natural cavern. Unlike the caverns that are being used for residences, there are no light shafts. In the grey-black world of her darkvision, Avaria can make out that the chamber is about 30' by 50' with the pool dominating it. But along the eastern wall, or what Avaria calls the eastern wall as she lost a bit of a sense of direction in the tunnel, she can make out a ledge and an opening that looks like a tunnel.
Avaria would estimate the tunnel was about 80' in length and that the pools on either end make it at least 100' from air pocket to air pocket. She managed it in about 48 - 50 seconds.
To confirm, the return trip will just be 'underwater swimming' not 'underwater swimming in difficult terrain' as she now knows what to expect. So Avaria's movement will increase from 10' / round to 15' / round but she'll still need to make Athletics checks though they'll be DC 8 as she has a bit of an idea what to do now.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Avaria swims to the Eastern ledge and pulls herself out of the water. Dripping and smelling like wet dog, she peers down the tunnel, listening hard for anything that might be lurking down it.
Avaria smiles at the orc holding out his arms wide and nods. "Want to go hunting for some later? I'm game if you are"
And with that, she slips into the water hoping to find something within.

Marrin nods and says to Avaria,
"I'm actually in pretty good shape to go spider smashing. Probably should check with the other two though."
When she sees the orc's interest in eating spiders she nods along with Ava's offer.
"The more the merrier. You'd get some food out of it at least."
She'll stand at the top of the pool looking in for a bit before asking Haguur,
"How long have you been here and how'd they get you? Hargrove the younger poisoned us."

The two drunken pirates look at Ethel. One cringes a little at the sight of her face but the other breaks out laughing.
"Aye aye, Captain," the laughing pirates says but then pushes Geffroi again.
Ethel catches Dodds watching the exchange with what appears to be genuine interest and anticipation.
Intimidation Check if you like.
Jan and Marrin don't see any sign of Avaria returning from her exploration of the pool. She's been gone about a minute so far.
Avaria swims to the Eastern ledge and pulls herself out of the water. Dripping and smelling like wet dog, she peers down the tunnel, listening hard for anything that might be lurking down it.

Avaria also takes a quick peek in the bag she found as she catches her breath on the ledge.
Looking into the tunnel, Avaria can see that it continues about 15' before bending to the right. The angle makes it impossible to see further.
She doesn't hear anything.
In the pouch, Avaria discovers slightly corroded caltrops; about a dozen.
Needing to know more, Avaria heads down to the bend to the right to peer down further.
