The hobgoblins rallied/shoved more goblins from the rear who will be there next round, enough time for Prim to cast another fireball down the hall. You do not notice any movement in the room since Orion closed the case carrying the Master Orb with the door.

As Orion opens the box, he goes stiff as if held by some tentacled creature, but no such creature can be seen. Prim, are you familiar with Unseen Servants?
Meanwhile, more goblins begin moving down the hall and over the charred remains of their comrades.
(She doesn't have the spell but since it's 1st lvl it should be relatively easy to recall with an Arcana check. Though this seems different from the spell. I was thinking "Evards Tentacles"

The tentacles appear to loosen their grip temporarily then return even stonger. Black tendrils begin to appear out of the floor. Orion, take 12 hp bludgeoning damage and roll a perception (WIS) check and a STR or DEX save, whichever is higher.
Prim, through the tentacles (which are growing darker and more substantial by the second), you do see a strange sigil on the floor. Roll a perception (WIS) check.

Prim, this could be an Unseen Servant spell, or someone has cast invisibility on Evard's black Tentacles. You're not sure which.
Orion, what are you doing? You do not appear to be taking damage, but you are restrained.
