“Yes I think I would like a tour, that would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps you could show me your favorite things about the town? While we finish our drinks though tell me a little about anything you know of goblin activity in the mountains if you don’t mind. My companions friends lives may depend on the information we are able to gather.”
"Goblin activity in the mountains?" Sorenson thinks for a moment. "I heard what was left of the Goblinoid Army headed north into the mountains after the siege of Freeport failed and the warlord was killed. I know most of the bugbears and quite a few of the goblins deserted in the chaos that ensued afterwards. Many of the goblins came here to Daruinjak to settle and rebuild their lives. Some of the bugbears have formed a small community west of here. They support themselves by raiding our trade caravans. I suspect that group over there," he says indicating Grugnar and his companions, "have been informing the others, the outsiders, of the movements of our caravans."
Alora nods as he explains. That would be an easy answer to extract but thus far nothing the bugbears had said inside the zone of truth had indicated such.
“That would make sense. I like you Jo and would like to hear a bit about you and your interest. Besides the running of this beautiful establishment what do and is there a lucky lady you call your own?”
"Well, Lady Alora," Jo begins, "other than running this establishment, I enjoy the finer things of life: music, art, literature. Some say I am a fairly good musician. I even taught Luut there a few things. Isn't that right, Luut?" he calls out to the goblin bard as he serves the other guests before continuing to play for them.
"Yes, sir," Luut replies with a grin at Jo and Alora over his shoulder. The goblin bard takes a seat with the group of elves he was serenading earlier, pulls his guitar from off his back, and begins to play another song. "Here is one Jo taught me," he says to the gathering crowd.
"But as for a lucky lady to call my own," Jo laments, "alas, no such creature exists as of yet."
Taxidea makes his way over to Orion. "So far I've learned two things", he says quietly, "First, watching Alora flirt with the elf is highly entertaining. Secondly, this town definitely has 3 too many bugbears. I think before we head to the fortress in the morning, we oughta rectify that situation for them."

Do you call this tavern home or have another lodging elsewhere as well. Also when you are able would you like to give me a tour of your town? I have never been here and would enjoy that.”
Orion says to Taxidea, "I see what you are saying. I will back you up on that, but I think we should avoid creating a ruckus in here. What do you propose?"
"I was waiting to see what Prim had to say, but what I propose is that we wait for them to leave, and then BOOM! We catch em' by surprise! I can hit 2 with the old Witch Bolt and somebody else can hit the third one with something else and then somebody else can also hit em' with something, like a sword or an axe or some other magic or whatever." Taxidea shrugs. "But I tend to be more of a 'make-it-up-as-you-go' sort rather than what you'd call a 'strategic planner' so I'm open to suggestions."

Prim tries to be subtle as she whispers to Badger & Orion.
"I realize the expedience of your suggestion, but it sounds a lot like murder. What about hiring them as mercenaries? Gets them out of town so they can't warn their village and give them a chance to prove themselves."
(Meanwhile, as Prim observes the flirtation (that she suspects is information gathering), it hits her. She's been so busy studying she's never been on a date. Her sister Persephone was right. She IS a nerd.
Besides observing that the "Goth" styles she disdains personally are really attractive on those who can pull it off, she hasn't even thought of it.
"Oh well", she thinks to herself. "Plenty of time to think about it. And certainly not a reason to flirt in a small town while on a mission. Keep a level head Primrose.")
Prim, you recognize the spell, especially since Oskar told her about it, I think. You are aware of several conversations going on around you, particularly the one between Alora Blaze and Jo Sorenson.
When you ask about lodging, the goblin barmaid replies, "We have a few rooms upstairs that Mister Sorenson might let you use." She grins, looking over at Alora and Jo. "But if you want some better rooms at a real inn, they just built a right proper one between the caravansary and market square."
Alora finds it puzzling that Jo suspects the bugbears of feeding information but seems to be friends with at least one as well. Still nothing ventured nothing gained.
Taxidea sighs. "Murder. Public service. You say Potato. I say Pa-tah-to. Like they wouldn't kill us in a heartbeat - and it wouldn't surprise me if they tried before the night's out. But OK, if you want try a less...aggressive approach I defer to you. Maybe I'm just tired and cranky from 3 days of walking on these short legs. Let's go find that inn."

"Uhhh...I think Mr. Sorenson might have plans for one of those rooms", she tells the barmaid.
"Gang, do you think we should go to the Inn after dinner?", she asks the party at the table.
(OOC: Luut and the barmaid are small, relatively hairless goblins. Grugnar and his companions are bigger (medium sized), hairy bugbears.)
Jo takes Alora's hand and escorts her upstairs.
