"I don't know if it is much of a shortcut," Grugnar replies to Prim, "but I've heard rumors of a natural cave system that links the mines here with the dungeons of the stronghold fortress the Goblinoid Army has taken. Don't know what's down there, though," he confesses with a furrowed brow and concerned look in his eyes.
"Nothing too scary, I bet," Varnak says nonchalantly as he pulls out a small file and begins cleaning his claws with it. "We bugbears can see in the dark pretty well, and I ain't seen nothing in this world yet that scares me."
Kraksar grins. "Plenty of baddies down there that might like a little halfling or gnome for a snack, though," he says so Taxidea can hear him.

Orion says, "I hope we aren't considering traveling for days through a rumored "cave system" to get to the stronghold. That sounds like a recipe for disaster. I think our route is overland, and the sealthier the better. Just my opinion, of course."
"We should start to pick up the pace whatever our decision is. I will go whichever way will help us rescue the survivors the quickest and safest way. I fear nothing a dark tunnel can bring." When Alora gets to the prison cell, she sees behind the bars a strange, skinny creature with dark hair and large pointed ears crouched on the floor. Its clothing looks like rags barely covering it enough for decency. It slowly looks up at you and laughs eerily. "They're coming, you know," it says. "Get what you can and run." It laughs again.
It doesn't look like much of a goblinoid, with its spindly arms and legs.
"The Fey Goblins are coming, the ones who stayed with the Queen after the Battle Lord defeated the other goblinoid gods. She wants her people back, and she will take everything away to get them. Take what you can and run!" it says leaping at the bars and grabbing them with its claw-like fingers and toes.
"Who I am is not important," it says as it slinks back into the shadows. "The Queen of Darkness cannot be stopped, not by any mere mortal like yourself, at least." It laughs a cruel and evil hiss which sends chills up your spine. Roll a Wisdom save.

Kraksar laughs, throwing his head back and holding his belly with his left hand while holding his morningstar in his right hand.
