You walk quickly through the giant's cavern into another tunnel, which leads into another cavern with an underground river flowing through it. "There," Svelta says pointing to a spot on the distant shore where a weathered staircase winds up the wall. "That will lead you to the dungeons of the hobgoblin fortress."
Taxidea squints over at the boat. Perception: 9 (OOC: How far away is the boat?)
"Well that's just GREAT! Anybody here a good swimmer? Maybe we can have your giant friend just throw me across."

Orion, you notice a rope attached to the back of the boat that goes into the water. Scanning the shore, you see the other end of the rope tied to a stalagmite on this side of the river. Another rope is on the front of the boat.
"Yes, I think this is what they use," Svelta says pointing out the rope on this side of the river.
Orion offers to go over with Taxidea in the first trip. Once we are over, the others can haul the boat back and forth until we are all across. Orion will keep a sharp lookout for anything out of the ordinary.
"Better than swimming - which I'm not even sure I could do. Also better than getting yeeted by a giant - I was kidding about that but I'm sure ol' Krak-shak would've liked to see it."

Orion, using the rope attached to the other end of the boats, hauls the boat across. Orion and Taxidea disembark, and signal to the others that they can use the boat now.

"Lady Svelta, is there anything in the water that would eat a swimmer?", Prim asks when Taxidea starts coaxing Thor. She'll make sure the trip is peaceful on our side and get in the last boat.
"I don't think there are any wolf-eaters in here," Svelta says, "but I would be careful of that strong current." As she says this, you notice Thor getting pulled downriver away from the boat. Fortunately, he is strong enough of a swimmer to get to other side, but he is a distance from where the boat is.

You don't see any convenient way, but there is a small boat on the other side just below the stairs. Roll an active Perception check.

Oskar grabs a 50 ft hempen rope from his pack. "Any good lassoers here?"
