The ochre jelly retreats back down the stairs leaving a large, singed mass behind.
Prim's warning is too late. The fireball ignites the fumes, and the three bugbears get caught in the blast and are immediately fried. They are burned beyond recognition.

Prim, as you try to move the corpses, they fall apart in a cloud of ash. Nothing is left to bring but charred bones. The bugbears have been effectively cremated.
Among the charred remains, you do find, however, the heads of four handaxes and two morningstars, three metal and bone mess kits, two waterskins, a metal shield, twenty arrowheads, ten darts, and a small knife.
(Ooc: I thought we paid them & let them keep a few shares of loot? No hunks of fused metal that used to be coins? She only takes weapons thar have writing on them & asks someone else to take the shield if that has writing.)
When she finishes stuffing her backpack with loot & bones, she says: "Right, let's head for the exit post-haste." and heads toward the stairs they entered. "Come along, spit-spot."
None of the handaxes have writing on them, but the morningstars and the shield do. The shield also seems to have some sort of tribal crest on it, a tree with a non-descript humanoid figure dangling from it. You also retrieve the coins you paid them.
Taxidea shrugs again. "Well, most problems CAN be solved with fire. I feel bad about Grugnar and Varnak - I was actually starting to like them. But Grugnar TOLD me to. No sense getting all upset about it now - let's get outta here." He grabs Thor and follows Orion.

Orion is heading to the door that they came through. I assume he sees Prim, Oskar, Taxidea, and Thor. Anyone else?
Grugnar replies to Taxidea with a shrug. Varnak also says he hasn't seen Kraksar since the battle with the hobgoblins.
Orion, you hear Kraksar's voice calling for help coming from down the stairs where you smell the ammonia.
Orion relays this information to the others. "Kraksar is down there, calling for help. Should we help him out, or is this come kind of trap?"

Yes, Prim should have two masks done. And yes again. There is a chance of catching the noxious fumes of sewage on fire.
Grugnar and Varnak go down the stairs, weapons at the ready, to check on Kraksar.
"Ew! Gross!" you hear Varnak exclaimed. "Let's get that $#!^ off of you."
"Hey! Be careful with that thing!" you hear Kraksar holler.
Orion shouts down the stairs to the bugbears, "We have what we came for, let's get out of hear."
The three bugbears come running up the stairs. "Tax! Send a fireball down there!" Grugnar shouts. "Now!"
